We are getting so many Rusted and Tempered joineries, it would be nice if we could maybe (numbers are random example) 10 rusted ones to make tempered ones and 10 tempered ones to make polished ones and 10 polished ones + special material to make blessed ones of our choice.
Right now they are just collecting dust...

I do think they need something that can be done with them, because there's no point in using them when the higher tier joineries are very easy to acquire.
However, I do think gating higher tier joineries behind higher tier content is appropriate. Doing 10 low level tales to get enough to upgrade 10 rusty joineries to a higher tier takes out the excitement to pursue higher level missions for a higher chance of a high tier joinery.
I would prefer if they could be smelted down to brass or something.
