#Lightning in a Vial note not respawning

Note: I will be revealing locations here so if you want to find the note on your own, there be spoilers ahead!

Last night, I was running with a friend, I was host. We walked past Kairness and I asked if he wanted to pick up the Nimrod quest, and ducked into the house to grab the note. I'd done it once before at this point, over 24 hours prior. The note was not there. We both checked in soul mode, shrugged, and went on.

Tonight, he messages me that the note showed up for him. I run to Kairness in my own instance (solo) and the note is not there. I relog for good measure and check again. Still no note. I join his instance, the note is there. I drop party and respawn in my own instance, and the note IS there. I decide to relog and see if the note stays. I return to Kairness after relogging and the note is gone again.

I don't know if this has any relevance to the issue at hand, but apparently when I dropped party, a copy of my Birb stayed in his instance with him.

(Friend in question is @white fulcrum if any other details are needed.)

Also, not sure if this is the intended functionality, but I can run the little mini mission and go right back to the house and note is back after dealing with Nimrod.

Just confirmed I also cannot find the Deadwood note.

@white fulcrum and I broke all the things again. He found the Deadwood note, I loaded in, the Banneret never spawned to finish the mission. I dropped party, and for some godforsaken reason, THE ORGAN showed up as my active mission. I ran back to Skelfies, found the note like I did last time I dropped party, but when I interacted with it, the Deadwood quest did not start. The Organ did go away, though....

I had cleared the camp where Deadwood leads you on the way to the village where the start note is, before I found it and invited Twirly. The popup and bird instructions tell you to go east, but it is actually west. Anyway, after we killed the mockeries at the Sinecure camp, there was nothing else there. @vague lily left the party and nothing changed for me. I walked a good distance away, then came back to the camp.

It might have been long enough time for the camp to repopulate from the earlier clear, or perhaps the distance was enough for it to kick and move forward. I killed the regular mooks and then it finished properly with ||the note saying the bannerette had gotten bored and left|| and I got my weapon fragment reward.

It dawns on me perhaps these were meant to be one-time only. Other notes persist, so I figured these would, but I guess that's worth asking?

Indeed. I just went to look for the weaver one since I had just done the organ next to it and I don't see that note, nor the one for step 2.

So perhaps the issue is that it doesn't actually remove them until you've relogged, leading to confusion that they're repeatable.
