#Is there a way to play on Mac?

all the usual ways
I’m looking for an UNUSUAL way. Jk. I’ve never gamed with a Mac. Is Crossover the way to go? What would you recommend?
I use Shadow and it runs smoothly while connected via ethernet. I haven’t tried crossover. If you’re willing to wait it will eventually come to Geforce Now but there is no timeline on that.
Ok, so I am using Crossover and it runs well with all the graphics on the lowest settings. Not ideal, but not horrible. BUT my only complaint would be every once in a while it will get brighter then darker and vice versa. It depends on where I am on the map but only seems to happen when I’m outdoors. I’m having fun with it but I’m curious to what settings I could mess with in Custom.
Just a quick update, hoping this helps anyone else in the same situation.
I changed some settings in Crossover.
In advanced settings I set graphics to D3DMetal. Synchronization I set to ESync. And I enabled High Performance Mode.
It made a world of difference and the game is really performing well now! I’m sure those settings mean nothing to most people because I still don’t know what they actually mean! But it improved my gameplay substantially.
Quick question what are the specs on your Mac?
I’m running a 2024 Mac mini. M4 Pro. 24 gb memory.
I still have all the settings on low but I need to go in and try different things out because I know it could run better. It runs buttery smooth right now but still the lighting sometimes gets blown out or gets darker and vice versa. I don’t know which settings to adjust to fix that. I’m enjoying the game!
