Was fighting Reaper as my 5th boss in Cogah mode with Oscelda / Alder / Esthelle. Was going alright until he just started spamming his shield. Didn't feel like I could do much to break it before he applied another one. He kept clipping himself into terrain which didn't help.

I am fighting it atm. It reapplied it's shield once. After that it was on permanently. I got it stuck on terrain, so I could test stuff.
It doesn't seem to run out with time.
It doesn't seem to be drained buy hits.
It doesn't get affected by AoE or Heavy attacks
It isn't a target for valid target for the cloudquell potion.
Only thing I haven't tried is melee attacks, since I'm running two ranged weapons and you can't swap during the cogah.
Imo it may be bugged in some way, I imagine that shield shouldn't be permanent.
It also doesn't seem to be drained by the dogs own attacks
It also doesn't seem to be affected by stagger at all
