Hello the idea is very simple, to have reforging ask for less resources for using worse Journey. Right now there is no reason to reforge until you can get polished or blessed by mora because it cost the same to reforge to a rusted journery or to a blessing. I have crafted almost all weapons and I don’t reforge them because it’s a waste.
So rusted and tempered journeries are almost useless. But if using them to reforge was cheaper I would use them every time I crafted a new weapon.
It can also be like a upgrading system so for example the items you invest into reforging to a rusted are taking into account for the next level of journery, that way you feel incentives to use all journeries as soon as you can and not wait to decide which weapon you like the most so you can use resources to reforge
