i started the last phase of the quest and reached the camp, after arriving i intiated combat fighting two mobs, i then shot the picktrix powder towards the canon which a few moments later killed it without me ever landing additional hits. after that the shewolf killed the boss as soon as he spawned and the mission ended

additional info, after choosing my wolf and rerturning to the nightfold i swapped loadout leveled some stuff up and returned. to my suprise all the enemies including the cannon were there alive and well. after a bit of fighting and killing i shot another picktrix powder at the cannon which again led to it dying instantly and removed the enemys however for some reason the boss didnt spawn,
the cannon doesnt take any further damage and as long as im around it im deemed in combat. i tried leaving the area returning to the nightfold and seeing if it would reset the area again and it seems to not work
