Bow draw canceling

I suppose is a bug but when you draw a bow while aiming and stop aiming, the bow cancels it's draw animation and you have to draw the arrow again. I say I suppose this is a bug because the normal way to cancel the draw is by clicking the interaction button with the arrow drawn.
