In the game is the character doing a thumb draw on the bow? i t remaind me of Asian Style of archery. Like Chinese, Korean, Mongolian and Japanese style am i right ?

In the first image it appears so. They look to be gripping it between the thumb and index holding the arrow. In the in game image that appears more like they are pulling the string back with pinky, ring, and middle fingers while using the index as a guide like a mix between the Mediterranean draw and standard finger draw.
