It would be nice to have a button which toggles the visibility of the HUD. Currently, you need to navigate into the settings and find the Show HUD toggle to turn it off or on. This makes the process cumbersome and limits the usefulness of the setting.
I often enjoy playing games with the HUD completely hidden, even during combat, but doing this means that a lot of information gets lost. Having the ability to quickly call up the HUD to check remaining health or glance at the compass would allow the player to decide exactly when they want that information if they choose to, and it would be much more practical than opening the menu every single time.
It would also be helpful for taking screenshots since needing to navigate a menu can get in the way of capturing a specific moment.
Perhaps the keybind can be empty by default to avoid players accidentally using it, or perhaps there are better solutions than what I'm suggesting. But overall, the impression I get from the way the HUD is presented is that Soulframe wants to immerse the player in the world, and I feel an option like this would only improve the experience for those who want to use it.
