Hello I'm new and have absolutly no clue what this game is about but am enjoying running around whacking people with my sword, I followed the bird and now I have ended up in a dungeon where I keep running into things that seem to require a ranged weapon such as grappling ropes, I already know I only have a sword in my inventory as far as I am aware so how do I progress? thanks :)
also idk what the preludes tag means so I hope thats fine

You can throw swords, daggers and pole arms, and that will allow to use the grapple rope
You can throw the by holding down the gaurd/block button then holding the heavy attack buck, on mouse and keyboard if you haven't changed the keybinds that would be right click and middle mouse button (which would be pressing down the scroll wheel)
