#Can the "Design Team" actually do something significant for older animus and the shells?

Like look at the base speed on every Animus. Most of these balance changes don't actually fix anything for the older units.

Why is Holdens base speed bumping up to 125? (typo in the patch notes last patch was 120 to 122 and now 115). Meanwhile, the "Design Team" is out buffing Massiah when he just needed better support options. Beyo and Tsuki have literally been slower than Holden for months.

I’m sure other players have their own pet peeves, but does the so call design team seriously look at Animuses like Beyo/Mi and go... "yup base speed is totally balanced next..."?

As for Shells... are we just supposed to accept that they’ll never get mechanical overhaul and only minor number tweaks? It feels like because Shells are massive time and money sinks, the devs are too scared to make any large changes to them.

Look at Amber and Jackal. Amber paired with Xuan Chi can push him even while he's in Ice State, which is probably going to be even more effective later as more passive heavy base Animuses get introduced. Jackal lets you cycle and can get out two turns on certain units, and will likely just get amplified by future character released.

The intention with Holden is most likely that they want him to be built on swift set to make use of his control effects, since the slower counter-focused builds are now powercrept. I have no opinion on the rest of it though

and also strive, he taunts then he gets a other turn with strive, and with kethos nerf maybe he can be good if paired with doki (don't undertand why kethos def break is 3 turns instead of 2 turns tho)

Beyo and Tsuki are slower than holden because their function is different than Holden. Beyo and Tsuki literally make another animus instantly take a turn no matter how slow that animus with one button tap. You can literally build Massiah full damage and with any of these two animus he can instantly take a turn before a unit like a Lily for example who is incredibly fast.

No other unit in the game can reliably make a unit build without any speed set take a turn before the fastest enemy unit in PVP. Only Tsuki and Beyo can do that if they are fastest unit in the match. Lily can’t do and neither can Xuan Chi or Turandot.

To balance this powerful mechanic and actually make player work for it they made Tsuki and Beyo base speed slow.

So that if you want to make a Massiah on full damage matrix take a turn before a unit like Lily then you need crazy speed rolls. The logic behind Tsuki and beyo speed actually makes sense to me. The only speed buff I can see is making Beyo the same base speed as Tsuki.
