#Game is way too punishing on experimentation

I think one of the biggest problems with this game is how punishing it is to experiment, and I haven't really seen this mentioned directly

Like I'm looking at inferno teams, and I have similar gear, but I've missed a few speed rolls people hit. If I keep investing in these pieces, the gear will be close, but if I'm too slow, I just get wiped, and I lose like 80% of the coins used, which is really devastating and will leave me stuck for days until I can farm back up and hopefully try new pieces

Plus there's the stamina tax if you want to experiment on runs. It's nearly impossible to star up niche units to see if they're viable, and risking lattices on them is 100% a massive throw

#1384230665461170346 has turned into a "let's look for alternative teams to beat these stages", but it's nearly impossible to test things with how punishing it is to try anything that's not a certain option

yeah it would be really nice to have a training fight where you dont lose stamina, but you also dont gain anything from winning just to see what you are lacking every fight

and a lot of people are talking about the gear and shell system being too expensive so i hope they do something about it
