I suggested drones a little while back: https://discord.com/channels/993260698790547528/1061645362672177213 but anyway obviously I support the idea. SOF have used kamikaze drones in the past too, just very expensive Switchblade 300s rather than the improvised kind we're seeing in Ukraine...

something a little more sophisticated than strapping a plastic explosive to a drone would be more in tune with who we play as, ig, but i still don't see a use for it aside from exploding

Yeah for the more CQB settings we'll be playing in that's why I recommended something like the black hornet nano - very small and quiet, and for recon only
