I propose 4 new monuments to be added to the game. These monuments should act as alternative options to farming.
1: Stone drill. Upon a fuel source being inserted, it powers on and starts collecting stone. The drill can be heard from half a grid away. The area around the drill should be grey without any plants with around 8 stone node spawns.
2: Metal Drill. Upon a fuel source being inserted, it powers on and starts collecting metal. The drill can be heard from a grid away. The ground around the drill should look somewhat like the surface of mars with around 6 metal node spawns.
3. Sulfur Drill. Upon a fuel source being inserted, it powers on and starts collecting sulfur. The drill can be heard from a grid and a half away. The ground around it should be stone with a hint of yellow along with 5 sulfer node spawns.
4. Quarry. This monument is a giant hole in the ground with a gravel road that snakes around the side to reach the bottom. At the bottom there should be large amount of nodes (~50 of them) with a rapid respawn time.
Fuel sources (these are listed in my least favorite to my absolute favorite)
1: Low grade.
I feel this is the most simple of the options but I feel it’s simply too easy to farm.
2. Diesel fuel
Straight from rust, barrels of it spawn at monuments to be picked up. I don’t like it’s a carbon copy though.
3. Strayer coins
Currency that can be bought at depot for around 50 scrap. This forces groups to travel across the map which allows pvp. This also means solos will have access to the fuel because they won’t have to run monuments.

Bump
Not needed anytime soon and i dont see why they would straight copy rust, theyve been trying to move away from the rust copying
Doesnt mean farm monuments wont happen i just think it will be different instead of being just rust
The game is based off rust, we want them to copy it. No one doesn’t want them to take features from rust. That’s the whole point of the game.
I want it loosely based off rust but not a carbon copy
Obviously not a carbon copy, but most features that people want or that are in the game are from rust .
