#Add more raid methods

I agree here, currently C4 and rockets are the only things that are very viable for raiding and they're both unlocked with a T3 workbench upgrade
Satchel charges?
T2 equivalent of c4
Then we gonna get Jackies and chainsaws, can't wait to raid with those
i definitely agree with adding satchels and explosive ammo, molotovs would be sooo sick too. but we are getting a new raid method soon with the jackhammers n shit
I wouldn’t consider jack hammer a new raid method just a faster way to eco raid
Pretty sure satchels are tier one no?
I don't play rust so I'm not sure
I agree with the satchels, I feel like an explosive that you didn't have to get from the military crates would be awesome. Make it cost more overall to blow walls compared to C4 or something to offset the fact that you get it earlier maybe
Ye
If they were to implement a couple new raid methods I would definitely say Molotovs for t1, satchels for T2 and Jackie's for whatever tier they will be
I feel like you can kind of count pipe bombs as T1 being that they do damage to structures
Yea, but those are more of a combat item
Speaking of combat items, different tiers of combat items would be awesome too
There should be different catagorys of items, once the game has a lot items, there should definitely be multiple tabs on the crafting table, maybe with a mixed system of tech tree and the current one
😉
Tbh tech tree probably won't happen, devs don't want that. I agree, I feel like it just turned Rust into "scrap collect to progress"
Yea, I'ma think of a way of changing the current system, but not just copy and paste rust system
There's still a possibility of learning blueprints permanently in the future but I doubt there will ever be "pay x scrap to unlock the next tier"
I do think it'd be cool and helpful to players that don't have a ton of time if they could pay extra scrap and spend a blueprint to learn it for the wipe
That would be fire
If a tech tree was added it'd likely eliminate a lot of the need for exploring and visiting monuments or raiding to get BPs. You'd literally never have to leave your grid to get to max tier stuff if you didn't want to. Plus I think there's a lot of raid incentive in finding BPs where as materials are really easy to get that you're not really raiding with the goal of getting more mats most of the time
Yea, there always need to be some kind of drive to go to the monuments, so needing to go to the monument to get the stuff to research it / learn it is good, I have an idea tho
What if their is a basic tech tree, basic items, you can learn metal tools, electric stuff, and maybe pipe bomb, then for things that are higher tier you have to risk having them in a bench
Basically make t1 be a tech tree, and then have T2 and t3 be the current system/ the learnable system
That still sounds like players could just be grinding scrap locally for the first day or two and not visiting anything
Not for important stuff tho
And I can already hear the "well why isn't it ALL on the tech tree?"
We'd never hear the end of it
Your right
Ever 😭
I'm hoping we hear the end of "where's 20x/10x" since people will slowly stop asking
Since it's private only now
Yea... The last person who said he had a dream got shot tho
