Making the BPs learnable would mean less incentive for raiding. It'd mean bases become less useful too if you don't need them to keep your BPs safe with how easy it is to farm up basic resources
I like it the way it is it is different from rust and like he said it's something to looking forward to raiding
What about the people trying to get into the game that are more casual players? And if the player count increases and we get full servers would farming up resources still be that easy? I think it would be something to look at in the future at least.
There will most likely be something to accomodate that in the future or custom servers that wouldn't break the current system 🙂 I do understand it can feel like a grind for casuals though it gets easier after you play a few wipes and get a good flow going. Keep in mind anything that's done to balance more in favor of casual players is going to give groups that much more of an advantage. There's a lot to consider in that regard, right now big groups losing their bps to raids is the most effective way to keep them in check. If all they had to do was farm more resources to make c4 every time they're raided it'd feel very unfair against others with the numbers advantage
thats fair, i dont expect a feature like this too early im more looking towards the world getting fleshed out and filled in with roads, more monuments and wildlife, those will be huge!
For sure, lots of cool stuff coming up 😁 I think the looting will feel a lot different with roads and keycard rooms
Honestly true but I think it would be better if you have a learnable blue print so when you get raided you can come back to the server and not feel like shit
