Call me a ||save scum||, but I'd love to have a button in the menu that loads the previous day, or other days for that matter. If any bugs ruin your life, it would really help just start with a new day.

It could be interesting if they made a slightly easier mode for beginners, where instead of putting you completely back to day 0 when you die, it only takes you back 2 days (I would say it could just bring you back to your last save but I think this option would be better if they want to continue to keep the rougelike element of resetting progress)

sorry for commenting on an old post, but a temporary solution for your save scumming needs: If you feel you are about to die, or even during the window of time where you're health is zero but you're still on the island (in general before the death screen) quit the entire game and reopen it. It'll start you back to the beginning of your current day.
Being honest, I used this trick to beat Seymour for the first time (I beat him later on without save scumming, but still)
