In the same way the villagers run various shops, it would be cool, and very immersive, if the villagers sometimes requested concoctions and/or potions. I'm not really sure how this would be implemented though. Maybe a request board that you can place anywhere on moonstone island or in town? Maybe they only start requesting concoctions after you complete their spirit matchmaking quests, but can request potions before then? Regardless of how its implemented, I think being an alchemist and having a business of making concoctions and potions for the villagers would be very satisfying :)

This would be fun. I've been wanting more quests from the npcs in general! I'm always disappointed when their "hey can you get me a coffee" request isn't "official" lol

For sure! There are a lot of options of how NPCs can feel more immersive and in-depth and this is one of them. It'd also be great because our official title is Alchemist, but brewing potions is what I do the least of
