As we've started distributing Discord roles to Kickstarter backers, if you haven't received yours yet AND you pledged during the campaign (or on BackerKit) AND you have completed your backer survey, it most likely means that we have an incorrect Discord username for you! This could be due to any number of reasons: misspelling, special characters (see tips below for allowed characters), or sending us your Discord DISPLAY NAME rather than USERNAME (see image).
In order to assign your roles, we'll need you to please update your survey answers on BackerKit! You can access it using the survey link you originally received from BackerKit, or retrieve your survey link by entering your Kickstarter email address on this page: https://the-dragon-king.backerkit.com/
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: You must submit your Username (not Display Name), as shown in the provided image. Your Username appears underneath your Display Name on your profile ("You" tab on mobile, or by clicking on your profile on web/client). Please type in your Discord username EXACTLY as it appears (double check it's all lowercase, doesn't contain special characters, etc.). Tips:
- usernames are case-insensitive, forced to be lowercase
- allowed characters only include Lowercase letters (a-z), numbers (0-9), underscores (_), and periods (.)
- cannot contain more than 2 periods in a row
- cannot contain @ symbol
- cannot have special characters (if you think you have special characters such as Œ or ñ, you're probably looking at your DISPLAY NAME instead of USERNAME)
We'll check for updated surveys and assign another batch of Discord roles early next week, so if you haven't received your roles yet please update your survey results now! Thank you!
