If you run survival stuff like Backstep you hurt your damage potential, and if you go all-in on damage then you die when anyone w-keys you.

Also, dodging projectiles seems to be hilariously easy for the enemy to do. Maybe its a skill issue on my part, but it doesn't make the class more fun when you HAVE to land your shots

Thats honestly the only thing I can think of that works. Playing like a melee class that also has a bow.

The only issue with that is there's several other classes that can do this much better, and the fact that I died several times to a Bardiche or a Halberd (where I don't really have a range advantage at all) dissuades me from trying this

maybe try a survival bow build and build true dmg on it so that way you dont have to worry about STR, triple shot (quad for surv bow) and knockback shot, thats another fun way to play Ranger because you can be aggressive and also defensive, but beware that Iron Will on Barbarians ignore the knock back which is the counter to the build, Lorr on YT mained Slayer and then went to Ranger because Slayer sucks, and this was his main build for a long time

theres 1 pressure plate by the edge of the module where the wolves and cockatrice is at (idk the name) but the pressure plate is around the entrance of the tunnel (2 entrances and only 1 side is openable from the top), sometimes just outside the wooden structure hugging the wall of the module

Druids are also nutty because you can't even landmine them. You'll get one hit off and proc Dreamwalk, and the Druid then just gets to cast healing spells while you're sitting there unable to do anything at all.

Also thorn coat is hilarious because Rogues take 5 self-damage every time they stab you lmao

There's been a lot of talk about the dungeon not having enough going in within it. Everyone has 43 billion ideas and ways to solve this, and I'm not special, but I am one of the few who took time to type it and post it so glaze me up - fishing. I know this has basically sorta probably been confirmed allegedly. Let me explain in decent detail.

I think the best way to ensure fishing is a worthwhile activity is to find ways to entice players with its rewards. I propose the following basic systems:

• Fishing is a skill. The more you fish, the more you level it. Higher levels allow for better fish and other misc finds (gear? gems?)
• Fishing spots are few and cannot be shared. Players would fight over these spots. This creates a new PvP zone other than boss.
• Fish are tradeable and used with a new merchant to create food. Food is eaten while sitting. It will provide a small buff once finished.
• Foods would be crafted using a fish, a hunting loot item (claw, eyes, flesh), and an herb.

Once you max out your fishing, a new drop is possible in select spots. It will be very hard to obtain, but luck helps. The item you're looking for is an untradeable scroll that will teach your character a new permanent (until wipe) passive. There would be multiple scrolls with different buffs. None of these buffs would benefit you directly in any PvP situation. Maybe once IM gets balancing down we can introduce PvP ones. Here are some examples of scrolls I had in mind:

• Open doors, chests, and levers 10% faster.
• Add one extra loot roll when you successfully fish. This only affects fish, not other loot.
• You can now sense herbs when near them. (Buff Druid herb perk range or rework/remove)
• Become immune to the 'Drunk' status effect.
• You can now fish hunting loot from select locations.
• You can now fish ore from select locations. (This would include froststone, as by the time you max fishing froststone would be very accessible anyway)

You can only ever have one scroll active at a time, and if you change one out, the one you originally had equipped will be destroyed. Once again they are untradeable. You would use a scroll on one of your characters in the menus and slot it in similar to the gem socketing system, but with the new merchant.
