What if, we made boss rooms locked from the start, and you'd need to have a key in order to open them, just like the iron doors in hr etc.
The keys could either be found in chests or bought from fortune teller for a hefty sum of gold
That way we would also get a good gold sink into the game, since let's be real, there is no point to gold other then market
Upon opening those doors would spawn a portal to the boss for which key you used, and only x number of people would be able to enter (The x being the mode you play, solos, duos or trios)
That way the actual gameplay loop of the game, which is loot chests, would become valid again, no more random bosses and no more boss rushers that only want to grind the troll for the 800th time in one day or camp the one doing it.

it is subjective but id say most players prefer felling axe because if you land your shots you can deal insane damage really quickly. it is very punishable if you miss though. the battle axe has more base damage but probably similar dps and if you are right in front of someone (which both weapons pretty much require since they have some of the most limited range out of 2H weapons) the felling axe will likely outperform due to a better sweet spot and as long as you keep landing attacks there is no "end" to the attack pattern

No, they're restricted IN close quarters. You can't transform if you're standing on a pebble unless you jump, if the top back of the hitbox happens to be in a torch 3 feet behind you you can't transform. They're also restricted TO close quarters because they're a melee only class, besides drum and 4 dreamfires. This makes counter play with range very viable. Having a counter to other melee-only classes like barb is a good thing.

Ok and no one was mad at barb trios a week ago. They were mad about >25 solo lobbies with speedy rage barbs and achilles and hatchet.

So trios isnt relevant, barb just got buffed in trios with moral boost and BE. I bet ironmace though it was a great idea because it wouldnt impact solos and if people did run BE in solos they wont run rage.

Rage usage goes down, barbs more viable in trios.
So it objectively seems like a balance win and the playerbase is complaining about EVERYTHING to do with barb now not a specific thing so it seems like an emotional reaction and throwing the whole kitchen sink at barbs and hoping something sticks.

The problem with barb is rage, pure and simple. They can't be fast tanky and do a ton of damage. If rage didnt increase move speed or had an appropriate drawback like " you take double damage for its duration" the problem would be solved, because barb would get countered by faster classes and its pressence in the dungeon would decrease

As I said i agree that crying about BE is stupid, BE isn't really a problem, sure it makes barbs invivicible and auto win any fight against melee classes, but Barbs already did that. So BE just makes barbs win fights they would have already won.

But Barb as a whole is a problem. Barb is overpowered and has been overpowered for a long time it needs to be nerfed and its power tuned down. The fact that a bunch of people are running the BE meme build doesn't make that problem go away. Eventually people will wise up to the fact that BE isn't actually increasing their win rate much, and will once again start using the better ability.

The best thing to do though is to hit the actual problem ability which is rage, and hit it hard.

i think you might have a bit of a misunderstanding ... the system tries to keep the lobby to some amount of filled until halfway... as we've seen in some cases, a person can rejoin the lobby 5 times if it's stil not the halfwayt point. If you joined at 4 minutes in, the lobby is still filled to that same point it was for the first 4 minutes. Regardless of whether people go down or die, the lobby population stays the same, assuming you're in a region that can support a lobby

you have the speed ability so that works decently well. best bet for fighter vs barb is to use your speed ability to create distance while poking with frannys or ranged before you go in for the fight. if they arent using hatchet you'll autowin with lantern shield parry if you learn it well enough

the biggest problem (apart from the current broken buffs) is his movespeed, in theory the barbarian is supposed to be a tanky and slow class, but with his basic stats it's very easy to reach 320 - 310 move speed, apart from the skill that already gives him that...

Essentially same queue sizes for lobbies but adventurers can spawn for a while after a dungeon starts. This makes the flow of pvp and interactions a little more dynamic. It's extremely good for pvp if you like that, but has turned dungeons into much more combat intensive experiences. It's hit and miss for me. Admittedly the game is getting a bit stale so pvp shakes it up, but I'm also a nerd for adventuring. Continuous has turned dungeons into combat arenas, so it feels less adventure-y to me I guess.
Another downside is spawning into modules that are looted and with enemies killed. This can mess with farming and feels especially bad if you go into inferno with 8 minutes left and your entire module already cleaned up. Bossing and pvp is also more third party than ever.
They randomized crypts which is cool. I think continuous will be better as time goes on and things get fleshed out. At least I hope so. Continuous seems pretty polarizing for the community as well.

Rondel isn’t as easy to consecutively headshot with as they make it look. That part is practice, but crouching is generally bad unless you’re also spinning and leaning up/down because it increases the headshot chance on you. Obviously doing the crazy dodges makes it harder to hit your own shots as well

That said, you’re probably better off just stabbing them in the face without dodging until you can hit all the shots. Then do the same while running in a circle around them. Then maybe mix in the dodges

Making Shield have full 'no-clip' would probably cause massive issues and allow players to bug many aspects of gameplay.

Sometimes, what you're experiencing is a weapons over reach whereas you actually blocked the shaft of the weapon and not the important part.

Shield Spec Lantern Fighter is a sleeper for sure. You can block, launch 1 counter with the lantern, swing your weapon for the 2nd of your perks fast attack and THEN click your Lantern Shields second repose. I don't run into many players at all that build this.

100% Pavise needs a peep hole. Pushing with Pavise is actual Meta. Boss killing with Pavise is actual meta.
