Wiz is still very strong
Just have to hit your spells now instead of being able to hold off entire teams by holding a cast and wiffing it over and over 😄

I love the danger/risk aspect of mining because it makes the raid more exciting, but the payoff just needs to be increased

Make discord able to accommodate all parties by adding a feature that lets players create their own party channel until they exit it.
its def the most hard core extraction game in terms of extracting. Every other game has a guaranteed extract, e.players aside, but this one there could be zero other players and you could still get unlucky with the extract ports.

There have been countless performance issues this playtest, including server issues.

I've been kind of disappointed with so little performance / server fixes so far.
I do believe they are still working on ways to fix these, they are harder to fix than a few nerfs / buffs.

Idk why wizards hate the nerf THAT bad, it is one spell slot for each spell except light which I never see them use
It's how one nerfs casters, wizards are already squishy so number of spells is their only other weak point to hit

projectile speed i mean, aswell as things like zap already have a super short range. Some spells dont do enough even with gear for -1 to be okay

Honestly, if you were to nerf magic missile to be the damage of 3 or 4 arrows from an average white bow, overall dmg, I could get behind making it a cantrip, infinite casts

Not good IMO. Makes the shield WAY too stacked if you are playing with a party.
I feel Like the Game would be more Fair, IF you couldn't run the same class in a group, example, we spawned and were pinned down by a full group of three rangers. i understand its random spawns and it happens but its happened alot more times than not.
The bash would only work on a successful block o.o and if you are in a party you would be gambling on their team not nuking you from the sides

Like stealthing is neat and all, but wouldn't it just be more fun to just have an ability that allows you to just run up, stab enemies and try to find more enemies to stab and build up speed?

Unless someone solo is going up against a 3 stack and one has a shield. There is nothing they can do.
Something based on not just invis. Rogue has been the hardest solo class to play IMO

Killing 3 stacks and going floor diving as rogue is definitely not easy mode lol. Little to no health, starts with no healing, invisible is nice but not a game changer.

They do nothing against a decent barb. Let alone a 3 stack. Especially if they have a ranger or wizard.
[New Rogue Active Ability - Frenzy]
A new active ability that sends the Rogue into a Frenzy while wielding any dagger for 10 seconds.
While active, Rogues can only perform one slash of their weapon, which will deal damage based on the current damage value of the weapon multiplied by 1.5x.
During this Frenzy, Rogues gain an animation allowing them to run significantly faster, as well as the ability to bash doors open upon coming into contact with them. The more successful attacks that the Rogue deals, the more speed that the Rogue will achieve.
Successful attacks also reset the duration of the ability back to its original 10 seconds, and increase the attack damage multiplier of the move by +0.1x, up to a maximum of 2.5x.

U know what annoys me is the fact that crouching is so fast and people just crouch and duck and weave when you play as a ranger and the Arrows move so slow it’s impossible to hit people who duck constantly and weave constantly while ducking
I actually when fighting now aim just for the waist down if I have my triple shot. If not any Cleric or Fighter crouching with a Heater Shield becomes a menace lmao
I lost a purple bow due to people doing this and crouching with a shield looking up literally makes a ranger useless
Yeah hopefully since they have a repair feature not open yet shields and what not will break. Ranger is hard to use against someone decent. Gotta have that rapier on swap for the stabs. I've killed a few barbs by rounding a corner pulling it out and just stabbing their face as they round the corner.

i find fighters being impeded heavily by the fact that they are unable to freely command weapons move sets because your have to go through a linear combo fo you singular weapon movement that allows for CQC EX... zweihander who in the fork is swinging that thing in a dungeon unless you go through two wide sweeps!

Should getting a successful block give a short stun or something to the attacker? I feel like blocking isn't usually worth it, you're better off dodging and attacking.
A .5 to .75 second stun would be great.
I think a "cancel attack" mechanic might be a good way to add more complexity to the combat system (press F during a swing, to cancel it, to act as a feint)
New weapon suggestion: Flail
Its attack would be able to wrap around shields and still hit (if the shield is pointed towards you), requiring the shield to have to be turned hard to the side to actually block it
Make a red X reticle of some kind, when using throwables, shooting weapons, and using spells to tell you if you're going to hit the terrain around you. I want to like this game but playing as a wizard is really jank not having this feature, constantly getting messed up by the environment when i think i have a clear shot.

need to suggest to fix the healing potion prices 2.5g per hp vs 8.5g per hp makes no sense
just gives them a red name. it isnt too much cause it isnt even rlly against rules or anything like that, but just lets others know they have team killed and to be careful when playing with them

You could change solo cleric. And it’s pretty easy add a large cooldown between heals so you can’t outheal everything

and all 8 of those heals can be put out in less than 30 seconds. can heal the cleric casting for 15 percent per and will outheal most dps?
4 heals that are for team, 4 that are light and would be better suited as a zap rather then a heal.
220 heals during combat. that you have to get through before starting the fight

draw players infront of a rogue, or use ranger to pin the cleric away into self healing, double your fighter with your barb and use sprint to circle.
you realize every leaderboard grinding team more or less has a cleric. saying the total health of 3 ppl on a team is 300. a cleric can heal 220 of that in the middle of the fight, how do you expect to kill a team with 520+ health as a team with 300. this is not even including heal pots bandages and more. along with this cleric will get a 15 percent heal from each spell. 15 percent of 220 is close to 40 so even more
there are more strategies then one to fight a team with a cleric without one..
most of the time getting behind isnt very viable. I am ranger so I am not going to run in to try to get behind. I know there are ways to deal with it. This is whyh I try to target the cleric. But another thing is cleric can heal itself simply by casting spells on teamates or strait up

I cant try to run away from my team and flank through another room where the cleric will buff the 3 man up and spam heal. so that doesnt work. As ranger unless the room is very big, which most rooms are there is no way to get past them to get behind.
a good barbarian wouldn't even let you have time to think about getting spells off.
most cases my cleric dies to barbarian charging before i even finish casting bless.
not rlly true. against fighter they have very good dr and projectile dr and headshot dr, barb has a large amount of health, cleric also can have good dr and health, wiz can be oneshot but most of the time is hasted and invis'd trying to get behind, so wiz is on the table but not easy. Ranger can be oneshot with both equal gear. This all requres hitting a headshot normally at long range. In almost every good gear to good gear fight 1 headshot wont kill, cleric will heal them up. hitting a headshot is no easy in this game especially tryna predict there strafe and account for bullet drop

fields ration is also worse than a cleric heal, a cleric heal will give them 15 percent of it. field rations has a 25 second cooldown and 3 max, cleric has 8 heals with no cooldown

yeah, i think mob density should be improved as well. some classes shine most dont. in troll cave tho seems like its new players with nothing. 80-90% die to mobs ...yeah ..
Mob density + quick circle = won't be able to get much done. Especially if you spawn outside of it. Actually saw a poor dude wailing away at a stone with a pick and I think managed to get a single stone before the dark came in.
@grizzled halo some sort of streamer mode would probably resolve this, or just make voip default on and they can turn it off

If anything I've thought about that msg, and I suppose it's not bad. You'd basically have to plan quickly where you spawn and where to go from there when the circle pops in.

i think the chat system is fine and seems more like a marketplace so a little immersive i suppose. But they seriously need to give us an easier way to fix the spam. Right now i gotta scroll and select all the items i want which takes 2 min and then i still get green spammed 😦

Let us choose a class type when crafting the cobalt/ruby ore items so we have a little bit of control over the perks/stat rolls. It's a lot of work to get enough ore to be able to craft a single piece of armor and it's extremely disappointing to roll all magic/interaction stats on a piece of plate armor on your fighter. It's just not worth the effort.

Regarding some classes having an easier time at mining than others; buy some gear with resourceful & action/interaction speed. I was running a fighter at 25 resourceful and a 5% action speed increase and it made mining much faster.

I think another way to handle wizard, would be by introducing another class (sorcerer) and changing wizard like so:

While adding in con would be great, the reason youre being one shot as a wiz isnt because your STR stat is so low, its because you have 4.9% STARTING phys damage reduction to start. Most of the dmg and hp that is gained from str is irrelevant. for damage its 1-1 up until 50 str where it becomes 2str=1% bonus.
For hp its 0-10 str 1 str = 3 hp, 10-50 1 str = 2 hp.
Armour is wherein lies the issues. 10 armour = ZERO reduction, Phys damage reduction is gained at.5% per 1 AC until 19 AC. At 19 AC it changes to .4% somewhere between 54 and 61 it changes again to .1% per 1 AC. At 106 AC it jumpes scaling again to .2% per 1 AC continuing to raise steadily until 350 AC where it slows again.
The entire system needs to be looked at, and a lot of the issues would be solved with a training room where people with too much time on their hands could throw attacks and spells out to get damage numbers and run the numbers to see whats op af and where things are too weak.
I understand, that is why I stated is just ONE of the reasons why that happens, suggesting a smaller change to approach the issue.

What about the ability to pass items between the party while at the table, would facilitate passing gear to friends without needing a guild or auction house. A simple 'table' tab is just added to the inventory system which exists only when at the party table and which all 3 players can access. Currently its possible to just carry items in inventory and drop them for friends so this makes that process more streamline

The death fog circle is very boring I think having gas that comes out of the walls into certain rooms overtime forcing players to pvp in whatever rooms are left would be much better for the game and will be far more unique than a standard circle we see in every game
adding in another stat to be hunting down wouldnt change much though, especially since there are several stats that we currently dont have access to viewing.
I.E, Base Magic damage (it is not your will stat as Wizard Zap with base gear would do more then 28 damage)
as well as how much extra damage bonus 2 handed weapons get as after several hours of testing it, each 2 handed weapon has a different bonus damage to hit which brings their damage higher then listed in the open details segment by 4-10 damage that doesnt scale.

I also don’t think a player reduction size helps solos because inherently the problem is being 1v3’d.
And of course, it would be bad game design if the solo ever was on equal footing.

Please for the love all that is good and holy please, lessen the movement penalty of plate armor and metal plate in general. Reasoning right now armor really sucks all barbarians can very much still 1 or 2 shot a fighter with full plate the same for enemies MOBS, note the 4 hits to kill you to like 5-6 hits with full plate. There can be argument that I am using low rating plate but the counter argument I have die to rogue backstabbing me I have die to ranger kiting me and shooting arrows. Not lest of all it’s way easier for enemy MOBS to just smack you and as I said be for the armor only gives you 1 or 2 extra hits. Finally, the slowness make exploring way harder, going so slow means if your caught out by enemies MOBS or players your just dead you don’t have the speed to fall back or think of a plan you just die worst being so slow means you can not loot for very long the closing wall can over take you very fast, You have to leave sooner. Those are my thoughts may I am wrong you decided.

They need to fix the escape portals for Goblin cave. So frustrating to die because the last escape portal is inaccessible

I was forced to yesterday, cleared the dungeon solo and the portals where in the lich king boss room lol
luckily im a ranger so i can actually clear it, but still
decrease the time to block as a fighter after successfully landing a hit, got all perks that increase attack speed and movement speed, and im still not fast enough to block, you gotta trade blows no matter what
So what you guys think about make game less fast pace in terms of zone? So you have more time to loot, more time to fight another players. As well this change need a little bigger maps.
So every map will feel like journey, not just 10 minutes run with scissors like madman

I don't play goblincaves so idk if it would be good there, but in the castle map, definitely not. Maybe make the circle a bit slower moving, but less time inbetween, but still
Additionally, longer games means longer queues because fewer players dying and extracting per minute. I also like the short games, just needs more maps

I saw a suggestion about having collectables for pvp kills like an ear or something, but they already have a soul you could take. Might be kinda toxic to just yoink midfight and hide tho.

The only things that are really any more difficult in the cave are the deathbugs and those you just strafe. The goblin archers are less accurate than the skeletons
the red deathbugs are actual aids

its a cake walk for ranger, and pretty good for cleric

You get the hang of it after a while. The only thing I think is a big struggle is the beetles
If you have to fight them and another mob it can be trouble
ranger is a breeze there, i way surpassed how much money i got last playthrough due to the cave on my ranger

It would give them too much of an edge if you mix in all the hitbox manipulation already in play. Game play has to take precedent over immersion. It would be more immersive for a Rouge to have a sidestep, but too gamebreaking
