Add a block to every weapon, expanding using the R Key
Some weapons have two attacks, and with those, some are useless. It might be best to standardize weapons to have 2 attacks and a block (using a key for an alternative attack). This should be all weapons other than Bows (Crossbows are big enough to block attacks with, so sure give them a tool of last resort).

PLEASE add an actual Auction House like Escape From Tarkov. If you're thinking not to to encourage player interaction it's NOT a good or fun interaction. For a game like Warframe a filtered chat spam is fine because you don't lose the items on death. You search/buy once and it's yours forever. For a game like this where you need to keep buying new loadouts its horrendous. Spending 20-30+ minutes to buy even a couple pieces of gear is really rough when it can be lost in 5 minutes. I have several epics with great rolls but I spent 30+ minutes and haggled with a couple people to eventually sell NOTHING. I want to PLAY THE GAME, not sit in a market...
I LOVE this game otherwise. would be a 9/10 even if released today as is! But without a proper auction house it comes down to a 6/10 and I almost don't want to play....
You guys are doing great! But I just can't see a reasonable justification for not having an auction house...

If caltrops will not be changed to a disposable tool like the hunting traps, then please buff its AOE. As it stands now, the perk is useless. Even just buffing the horizontal area it covers to give it utility in hallways would be welcome

[Allow rogue to heal for a portion of his poison damage when using poison weapon. Not for the full poison damage but something like 1 or 2 hp per posion damage tick? Allowing for slightly better survivability without making rogue too "OP" even though hes the squishyest class.]

For Rogue, replace the individuals skills/perks of Poison, Caltrops, Smoke Bombs and Lockpicking with a new Skill called 'Preparation'. The rogue can then prepare a certain number of these tools before the match, similar to how a Wizard or Cleric picks their spells. In the same vein, the number of tools you can prepare would be based on Knowledge, giving Rogues a use for an otherwise useless stat in their kit.
During the match, you use the Preparation skill to produce an item of your choice from whatever you prepared prior, expending that use of the item/tool. When you sit down at a campfire, you recover uses of those tools, which represents the Rogue taking time to tinker and craft new tools.
This feature intends to offer Rogues more ways to prepare and protect themselves from larger parties while looting, and combines two relatively low use Skills (Smoke Bomb and Caltrops) with a high use Perk (Poisoned Weapons/Lockpick). By making poison a limited use tool, the Rogue is forced to be more careful with its usage, but also gains the ability to combine it with a dangerous mix of traps and tactics to overcome the brute force tactics of characters that operate better in a direct fight (namely, Fighters and Barbarians).

make a stat thats called 'magical healing' this governs how much healing you do to others / yourself, this will be most useful for clerics so they can see exactly how much healing they do.

Do not make a tarkov like auction house.
It will remove bartering.
And will flood the game with good gear.
The current system allows for more variety of builds and more even lobbies because of the difficulty and circumstantial nature of obtaining gear.
If you make it like tarkov it will just become buy the same meta gear over and over and nothing will have real fun value of finding it.
Please do not add a tarkov like market.

Goblin Merchant should have better loot than it does right now as from 100 pulls the following was gotten:
- Poor: 36
- Common: 21
- Uncommon: 16
- Rare: 20
- Epic: 7
- Legendary: 0
- Unique: 0
Assuming Legendary or Unique can be pulled I think their chances should be increased since 100 pulls is 7500g.

Escape portals need to be spawning near players. In the goblin caves. I will get 4+ kills, be completely looted, come in geared and no escape portals spawn near me. Or anywhere around at all. Looking in the red for 30 secs healing myself to not find any portals is extremely toxic and makes me altf4 almost every time. I just lost 20+ candy and all my purps to this once again. Killing dam near the whole lobbie just to have the game say fuck you.

Increase the movementspeed penalty and equip speed of bows as a whole. It is next to impossible for most classes outside of Rogue to catch a Ranger that has more then 3 braincells. The amount of kiting they have makes the fights almost entirely onesided, especially in Solo dungeons, but even more so in the normal dungeons. Rangers should be punished for being out of position, but that currently just does not happen. Once they put their bow away, you simply will not catch them unless you yourself are a ranger or a Rogue.

Implement a training grounds to test gear and different builds, as well as test those on your friends in an arena map setting. Obviously no progress can be gained or save from this instance, it's purely to just test builds/gear and hone your skills a bit.

[This is a one map change and not any nerfing stuff since they won't be really working on balancing hardly until either ea or release but make it at least where the trap is up and activated you don't take damage from floor spikes since you are technically avoiding it and yes I know how to avoid traps but you are still getting hit by them like 90% or 80% of the time and are forced to heal you should be able to at least walk past either that or have a longer wait time before it reactivates feel like that will be fair for everyone at the very least since even walking into a activated floor trap you still take damage.]

Please fix how roles work for the bonus attributes on gear, a ranger hood should not have bonus willpower or spell power, same with a fighter weapon having that stuff. It makes no sense

Add a filter for item attributes, so you can search for items with "+ physical damage" or "+ spell capacity" etc. that way you can specify your search even more and find the items you need faster.

So after my 2 playtests i really have fun with game but i see many things to make it better like:
- Sounds ok we have sound footsteps etc. BUT i dont know is this mono/stereo or 6D sounds. I play the game on really good earphones but its hard to target the enemy is upper/ next to you/ on front of or behind. sometimes i hear someone like he is 2 rooms away of me and then he slash me making me jumpscare cause he was next to me and really near.
- like other wrote make better hitboxes for things you can take to eq i can spend a lot of time trying to catch something

make the collector only have a sell tab and no buy tab since the only thing you do at him is sell your treasures, this prevents having to switch to sell tab every time when u go to the collector to sell.

A "bastard sword" 2-handed weapon for Rogues and Fighters, similar moveset and parry ability to the longsword, but with higher attack speed and less weight, countered by a shorter reach and less damage. Something for Rogues that gives some variety from dual wield setups and maybe a tiny bit of survivability in super close range fights.

[ It be cool to find a random vendor on the map. Like the library it be a wizard selling books (or other wiz stuff) of green maybe blue behind and you could sell your books (or other wiz stuff) that you found or brought in from your stash for a better bargain other then what the merchants offer you. the thing is you have to take the chance to bring it in to risk it for some more gold and if you do you have to get out with that gold. It go buy color then by roll. Say if it was just a bad roll book that trade wouldn't touch, the wiz would pay you base of the color. say 100 green 200 blue 300purp 500 legend. Maybe put him in the bookcase secret area or maybe upstairs with light that you cant turn off. and after the ring has closed on the wiz they'd close shop till next game. and they could do the same for a barb, fighter etc.., its just so you can get ez money but you have to risk it getting taken from other players. ]

[To change a bit how the inventory works. For example, If my character has an empty gear slot (lets say body armor slot) I cannot put anything in there unless there is enough space in the inventory for the said gear slot. It is rather annoying needing to remove stuff from the inventory just to put on an item in to an empty gear slot and pick up all that you removed again]

[OK a few suggestions. 1) In adition to pouches,add a small chest taking 6 slots but can keep 500 Gold. Add a Big Chest taking 10 slots but keep 1000 Gold.
2) Add an ability to preview weapons/armor/accessories in the trade chat so when you put it on your charachter you can see how the stats change
3) Add Karma system for scammers with a specific collor so people can know who not to trust and can report them for scamming
4) Please turn VoipON by default
5) Some sort off an kick (ability or an button) so that enemies blocking can get staggered allowing for a hit or run (small shields only)
6) Rotate button for stuff in your stash

A nice addition would be letting regular players add reactions to posts in general chat and other chats without an admin doing so first. Restrict it to the emotes available in this discord server specifically, but give us reactions if chat has to be restricted to slow mode. Its annoying to not be able to respond to posts in any way shape or form because of a dumb timer.

new room node with a furnace/grind stone that you could smelt/grind down the trinkets you find during a run for either more inventory space or a new kind of material. Gives a new use for trinkets other than selling to the collector. Make it a long interactable similar to a revive so it's high risk high reward.

[If you implement a weight system for it is critical that it is done responsibly. If our backpacks contents effect move speed it is essential that you allow the removal of backpacks with brief interaction speed to remove and equip a bag. Lower Ranger's interaction speed. They have very comparable interaction speeds to rogue, while being able to maintain distance and traps. Part of their strength is due to the fact that they are able to maneuver their environment so quickly.
The playstyle should focus on more forward thinking and planning ahead, and less on rogue-like game play. Changing this and nothing else would do a lot to bring them in line with other classes.

Put a cap on the number of positive status effects that can be given to a teammate at once. Going against Barb with Haste, Invis, Ignite, 2 shield, and heals is completely unplayable. Barb isn't inherently broken. Nerfing Barb base stats will have the opposite of the desired effect, and would likely cause the Barb Cleric Wizard comp to become the only viable way to play the class

[Reduce the effect of gear on player power. Fully geared groups in normal lobbies run almost no risk of death. With good gear a player can easily have 40% more health, 10-30% more damage reduction, double or even more damage done, 40% more cast speed and a movespeed that exceeds the usual limitations of their class, breaking matchups that requiring kiting. This level of stat difference pretty much entirely removes skill from the equation.
People should be at risk from PVE and other players at all times.]

Small trading QoL - make the "one trade partner doesn't have enough gold for the fee" message pop up more visibly. Block the screen if necessary, since there's no indication of it otherwise and it's hard to tell if there just aren't any bites on what you're selling, or if you forgot you're out of liquidity 😉

prevent people who don't have enough gold to trade to post anything to the trade channels. They can look, but can't type without having at least 15 gold. Frustrating to try and trade someone and it says "someone doesn't have the money"

[The current market i think should go back to the old way. People dont know what stats other classes need and are posting them in the wrong channels. Prices are pretty messed up this patch. I believe the old way is just better. Add more sorting options to the game. Such as stat searching. Say for instance that i want +all stats. I could then search for only those items in the market and so on and so forth. I believe this would make the market actually enjoyable to view and try to get/sell items. Yea seeing everything go through chat is cool and all but more officiant market place would be better for everyone. Please consider this for next patch. The old market was much better for prices more sorting would make the old market you all set up amazing. Thanks for listening.]

Don't change the game too far from what already exists in the playtest, the game has a great feel and is fun (apart from being one shotted by Barbarians lmao).
It would be good to see fixes to things that don't work yet and keep adding additional rooms, mobs and gear.
The easier dungeon level mentioned will be very good for when you have no gear but hope there will be an option to start on mid level if already geared?

[ BIG WARNING - You cannot dodge goblin archers when meleeing them. Spinning around them in circles does not work. You may say that you can dodge them by spinning around them AND staying away from them, but they shoot arrows super fast. A fix for it would be to reduce their tracking speed(so that you can't get shot by its arrow when spinning around it)
Also, goblins and practically any mob can 180 you if you try to backstab them or any of those sorts, so a reduction in turning speed would be great.

This is probably already in the works but... Caltrops (rogues ability) really need to be visible. Currently they are entirely invisible. Also they should either be placed in the opposite direction from where you are currently walking when placing them, or should be aimable with very limited range. Currently there is no reason to use Caltrops at all because you are just as likely to hit yourself or completely wiff them as you are to hit someone else.

Random starting equipement after a death. Mostly weapons really, to not make having to restart because of a botched run so boring for players struggling to find playstiles that work for them. Passive healing; it is incredibly annoying to get damaged by some NPCs and be at a disadvantage for the rest of the game, it's annoying to have to bring meds in especially at the start of the game when your character has nothing.

[Make a third section for all classes called "Class Abilities" that work in lieu of Perks and Abilities. assign it to the "G" key, or something. Class Abilities take some of the stronger abilities from the classes, and assign it to this slot. The intention of CA is to, more or less, point towards how a player wants to have their character be during their run while opening up more ability/trait choice for characters.]

Just repeating post from before which a lot of people agreed before so it does not get forgotten:
Make the swarm zone move slower specially in the next level area after red portal, the mobs there are so tanky ,it can take ages to clear and with the swarm forcing you to go to the next safezone you will most likely end up dead because of mob overstacking.

Make it so that the Lich cant cast purple/blue debuffs right after each other, he had us stack up for purple debuff and then hit us with blue while we're all stacked up and instantly wiped the party, it's happened 3 times already this wipe please put a cooldown on it asap

Pls nerf physic dmg for rangers, current ranger meta is insane. Almost every high roller we have a lot geared ranger who can literally one shot almost any class in almost any gear. They can have easy 80-110 (recurve-long) dmg cuz its easy to get all items for weapon, additional, and true physical dmg. Just enough to one shot in the body for all 4 of 6 classes, and 2 shot for fighter and barb

I think it will be cool if we had a item rarity icon, like a small triangle on the corner of the item to no only make it easily to identify items while looting or managing the stash, but also to make scams more difficult, someone can easily on the trade chat put a purple/orange item, but in the actual trade put a common item, and if the person isn't careful enough he will get scammed.

[give archer a limited amount of arrows, starting at the capacity as they load in and if they want to keep their arrows they should have to go pick them back up instead of teleporting more arrows into existence, creating more meaningful shots and stops zone blocking with an infinite supply of arrows being teleported into their inventory

defense buff/options
Please look at the disparity in scaling of DMG vs Armors
Armors that have flat -X dmg to ranged attacks. Armors that have unique enchantments to them that are interesting, regain 50% lost HP from most recent attack over 10 seconds - must take no dmg for 5 seconds to begin; or an enchantment on a robe that completely blocks 1 incoming attack, CD 15 seconds (shield spell rune anyone?).
Armors with bonus HP would be nice too, its good but also hinder healing so they instead of negating dmg, you can heal it back but takes more resources than negating it.
poison resist armors, armors that become lighter after being hit, how about a belt slot, increases the number of potion/items you carry.
change starting belt size to 1 per side, then add a basic belt 4-6 gold to add 1 pouch on each side. allow for 4 or 5 belt pockets. a belt that hides all of 1 sides pockets. or a belt with a built in gold pouch to get it out of inventory space.
lots of cool things we can do with armors and enchanted armors.

[Add spell tiers or something? Say the wizard has 20 spell memory to play with and haste takes 5 well what if a lesser haste (shorter duration or less effective) took 3 of those levels and a longer duration haste took 8 levels. Might be easier to balance that way. Also It would be cool to see a way to highlight a friendly to ensure they're getting the haste or ignite or even heals from cleric and have a small deadzone or something where it highlights them.]

[I've created a simple attribute benefit checker within google sheets as a quick reference guide for players wanting to get a deeper understanding of what attributes may do for their class. I think it could be useful for the hardcore playerbase that likes to minmax their builds, and would like to expand the tool to cover more areas other than just attribute differences. I've previously created tools that simulated fights between units in other games. If I had access to data tables that I could use within xls, I could create more in-depth tools for people to use. Remove player trading and replace it with a robust crafting system. Player trading in a PvP game always ALWAY leads to a RMT market, which in turn always leads to more cheaters since there's real money to be made off successful cheats. Instead have a system where items can be broken down into components which can be crafted into specific items. This allows any item to still have value even if the character can't equip it, all without allowing RMT to corrupt the entire game.

A dark forest map would be amazing, the tree's act as terrain, can use assets from goblin caves to create tunnels through cliffs, water assets from forgotten castle for ponds & water terrain. Perhaps the moon can act as the main light source in place of torches while outside, dark places created by where the light is blocked by trees or cliffs. Torches in the caves.

Once the Tavern/Training area is added, it would be entertaining if players could sit in the Tavern without queing a game whilst others cycled through who were joining a game, watching them go in and such while the one's who weren't que'd could chat in VOIP; RP, whatever shenanigans they wanted. Might be difficult to integrate but it'd be rather fun for when players wanted to take a break, yet it'd keep them in game.

[I would like to suggest clerics getting some sort of ranged attack item, rogues have throwing knives, barbs have axes, fighters get crossbows and bows, mages have their spells and ranger has bows, clerics struggle to solo the goblin caves because goblin archers, hit hard and have a poison, with no offensive spells, and no ranged option the cleric is in a bad way. A sling or slingshot would be appropriate as it is a blunt damage more unlike knives or axes. sling shots could do 1/2 survival bow damage and slings could do survival bow damage.]

Get rid of "shrinking circle" damage over time aspect of the game. Just make the circle true darkness, where your only source of light is the light you make and statues. Torches along the walls no longer work out of the circle.

allow classes to choose which weapon they start with after death. (Wizard has the option between book, staff, and crystal sword. Ranger has the option between survival bow, recurve bow, and longbow etc.) Obviously all starter gear would still be junk tier but it would allow new players to try all the weapons so they know which they like the most.

Similar to gold pouches let us buy a gold CHEST for our stash. Letting us stash idk spitballing like 1k in there. To save space. In addition - allow us to spend a heavy amount of gold for more stash pages. This creates a sink which is good for economy while also providing a big QoL you can earn for gear hoarders.

[DO SOMETHING ABOUT FIGHTER AND BARB- Why can fighters be in full plate armor, take the 10% physical dmg nerf and still 2 shot me with a bow/crossbow-- then they can run you down at mach 10 while you're higher agility / movespeed and full light armor it makes no sense at all. Then barb on the other hand hits harder than a damn semi truck at a crosswalk and they have base 150% magic resist and can also run you down at mach 10 it makes no sense make these classes tanks not super soldiers.

[Allow rogues to wield survivor bows. It seems that right now the survival bow is in very low demand, both fighters and rangers always opt for a recurve or a longbow. Additionally, in my opinion rogues are not very effective in PVE combat and struggle to be useful during boss fights. I think allowing rogues to use survival bows kills two birds with one stone, letting the survival bow have some demand because at least one class will use it, and giving rogue the versatility is needs to compete with other classes.]

[When trading, it should show the first trade only, and give a message "this player has a pending trade request" for people who trade after, instead of just overriding the first trade. It is punishing players who react quickly and trade first, because people who are slower and request trade after automatically get priority. It would be awesome if each guild had it's own hideout / castle which we could upgrade using gold. Thing like:

Arena, where you could train (with an option to turn off all damage done and to show/hide damage done like on the training dummies) and maybe even host tournaments for your own guild, or even do guild vs guild battles where you don't lose your equipment but the winning guild receives something from the losers.

Summoner room, where you could summon any mob or boss to practice fighting it. Of course there would be no loot drop. I could see this have huge potential where guilds train new players on how to play against different mobs and discuss tactics.

Customizing the hideout
Such as placing lamps, torches, tables etc wherever you want to give every guild a unique look (like Dojos in Warframe).
Of course each and every upgrade, from making arena rooms to adding small decorative tables should cost gold.
It would encourage guild leaders to collect taxes from members to improve the hideout, thus siphoning significant amounts of gold from the server. Maybe even add other requirements to build stuff such as collecting ores or special items that drop from mobs like bones or demon bat's wings. Endless posibilities.
If upgrading the hideout would cost a lot of money (as it should if players want to max it out) then I think they shouldn't be wiped every season, since they don't affect the gameplay at all. They're just a fun addition to the game, something else to do.
If, however, devs add something that gives an edge over other players, that SHOULD be reset every wipe so guilds don't have an advantage early on where everybody is running naked.

Add Mordhau-esque combat; in that, upon attacking, what direction you are moving will affect what attack you do. Aiming up will do a downward swing, forward for a stab, up left/right for diagonal attacks, left/right for horizontal attacks, and bottom left/right for upper swings.

[Hi all. I have a few suggestions regarding the wizard and magic classes.
First of all, I remember the devs mentioning that they want more variety for this class, both in terms of spells and in general. I think you should pay attention to the perks, now in any case they are taken: the sage and quick chant. For the remaining slots, mana surge or mastery of fire/arcana.
If we move on to spells, then almost any magician wants to have haste and invisibility. Probably magic missles for pve and pvp. In the remaining two slots, a fireball/chain lightning/zap/ignite (if the build with a dagger) and in rare cases a lightning strike (the last one, if a person wants to diversify his gameplay). Provide variety now and in the future by making other and less commonly used spells stronger and more comfortable to use.
Also, I would like to suggest making spell memory a passive feature of magical classes (mages, priests in the future of a sorcerer, sorcerer, etc.). By assigning it, for example, to the R button. Indeed, for a magic class, magic is like arrows for an archer. You didn't make the quiver with arrows a separate skill so rangers could use a bow, did you? [have a variety of "curses", like the bug circle, where one is randomly chosen to appear in a round, and you don't know which curse you're dealing with until the round actually starts. examples:
curse of the locust - what we have now
curse of the dark - environmental lights get progressively weaker over time, players instantly die to a "monster" if they spend 5-10 seconds in the dark. eventually even torches fail.
curse of the wraith - ghost monsters spawn periodically to chase the player, first ones are slow and easy to kill, but they get faster and more deadly as the timer goes on.]

Make the impassable hitbox on enemies smaller and add another new type of hitbox to cover the lost area that just makes you move slower if you pass through it, as if you are fumbling around them. Instead of a random assortment of items from a table unique to each Shopkeeper, Shopkeepers should have a consistent stock of gray variants of every basic piece of equipment to allow players to gear for their favored playstyle if they have the coin, rather than having to re-roll the NPCs stock hoping for what they want.
Obviously a chance of them still selling the higher tier variants could still be there, but I think that niche is nicely covered by the goblin merchant anyways.

maybe a solo high roller mode? Only reason I say this is high roller is the main way to get legendary gear and consistent epic and when tryna do it solo its pretty impossible to do. you have to rat really hard and wait, play very safe and cant rlly pvp. Knowledge Ring. I just found out that there is no any ring that gives Knowledge base stat. enable item swapping. For example, right now if you had a 2x2 filled with a 1x1 item like a potion, you would be unable to move a 2x2 item into it like a helmet without first moving the 1x1 item out. Item swapping would allow you to place the helmet into the 2x2 and then be able to move the 1x1 somewhere else smoothly.

[hideout being the tavern] Essentially, where you could Forge items in exchange for some gear so that the loot from a dungeon isn’t all to sell. The tavern is awesome! Instead of a loading area (or maybe even a random players custom tavern) players can customize their own tavern and show off the trophy heads of mini bosses & bosses.
Players can use a Forge using ore minerals & specific items to get access to good loot. The higher the tier used that would be your weapon grade. Along with armours. They should have a medium expensive requirement so it’s not so punishing but helps a broke player get access to new gear.
Skill Statue primarily to customize your skills and perks & learn new ones * potentially *
brewery Gain access to brewing different types of alcohol. Cleric could use buffs other than strength.
cauldron for brewing potions.
Tree of Life/Fireplace/Campfire for heals, restoration, surgical kits, food buffs.
Along with classes would come with tavern buffs. Or the possibility to choose any one of the tavern buffs instead.
Fighter: Upgraded Forge
Barbarian: Upgraded Forge
Rogue: Upgraded Cauldron
Ranger: Upgraded Tree of Life
Wizard: Upgraded Statue potential or Cauldron
Cleric: upgraded brewery / tree of life.

[On the possibility of Necromancer class.
It could be done in 2 ways.
- Normal class.
- You have to unlock it.
My suggestion on a "fluffy" unlocking method:
As a cleric, take the soul/heart of an enemy (maybe they can be made lootable only if all the victim's party is dead), bring it to a sacrificial altar and perform a dark ritual.
That cleric will be a necromancer after the current game (<---optional) and you have unlocked the necromancer as a lv.1 starting class.

If you shoot through a fire source like a torch, the arrow will become on fire and act like a skeleton ranger arrow with additional fire damage.
(Note: this only works on map placed torches, the torches you spawn with can't be used to light arrows on fire for obvious reasons)

I would like to suggest a class (DUELIST) in which you would have things such as built in max HP dmg or armor pen... for perks there would be a [5% armor pen] and a [2% MAX HP damage on MELEE attacks] a [speed increase of 0-10% based on the classes missing HP (the 0% from 100% to 80% and then increasing as their health goes down, hitting 10% at half HP)]

Nerf all the damage perks BUT the phys or magical power (+weapon damage // +additional phys dmg // + additional magical dmg // % phys or magical dmg) and buff ALL the other perks, specially the "tanky" ones. There's literal no reason to build anything that is not the damage ones I mentioned, you literally 1 tap anyone with any class if you're all built up. I don't really like 1 shot mechanics and the endgame of Dark and Darker is literally everyone 1 tapping each other. At the moment I'm playing 2 archers and 1 mage with my friends and it's like so ridiculous to a point where we just go roaming around smashing our heads on the keyboard 1 tapping everyone on the highroll lobbies. A full purple built cleric: 1 tapped by one headshot; A full purple built rogue: 1 tapped by one ZAP (THAT IS A TARGET SKILL); A full purple built barbarian being buffed by a full built cleric: 3 tapped in the chest with arrows, maybe 4. What about the "META" comp (barbarian, mage, cleric), I still don't think that it is more op than 3 rangeds, but still, barbarians with felling axe literally RUNS over any other melee (it's not even close). A barbarian with a white felling axe has more chances to win than a full blue built fighter. But that's another point, everyone already knows that felling axe is bizarrely broken. Anyways, I just think that the game shouldn't be about 1 tapping each other.

An actual auction house or such would be preferred. Right now there is too much time(imo) spent at the market just trying to sell something or just waiting for a decent price or just the thing you want. In both cases you just sit around, waiting. The system is awful in Warframe and it's even worse here as you can lose the items and would have to redo the process if you want the same things again.

I'm sure balancing is a metric you've looked at and heard all about so we'll skip most of the usual stuff.
Rogues shouldn't have glowing weapons. It gives them away and kinda ruins the whole point of stealth.
On the topic of rogues, maybe allowing a perk for short bow use may be viable? They are the weakest class in the line up, so giving them a direct buff in the form of ranged fights makes sense. Reduce damage similar to the fighter's weapon mastery if it seems overtuned.
Ranger's trap perk is largely useless. Either speeding up the time significantly, or replacing/reworking it entirely makes good sense.
Spell knowledge seems off for the cleric and wizard. It feels like something they should have as an immediate given. However additional spell slots makes sense.

Give Wizard's base starting kit a different weapon or make the Magic Staff not so abhorrently awful to play with.
The swing speeds are slow, recovery frames long, (barbarian for example can get two hits off in the time it takes you to do one) has poor to mediocre range, and offers no magical damage. It is the absolute bare minimum of what would be considered playable.

[Changing ranger hood move speed to -4 instead of -5. At the moment as a Ranger, I don't see a point in me using Ranger Hood since Leather Cap has more armor and head damage reduction with the same move speed reduction. [Invisible potion revealing invisible players (a counterplay for the rogue)] It would be amazing if using one of your potion of invisibility could reveal the others players being invisible for the one using it, as a result it would be a costly feature that can avoid a 0 couterplay backstab from the rogue for very cautious players. It would just be an alert signal that he is present if you have chosen a good spot to watch the room that you want to clean.

Probably suggested already, but I think an ancient ruins type map where you have to find a room, solve a puzzle to open a hidden treasure room, loot the room, and run to the extract while avoiding traps and other players. This would mean no ring of beetles or necessarily jumping in portals. Just extract locations.

Show how well I play when game ended (result of total damage dealt/ total damage taken/ total kills.etc) and how many success escape in a row to make me much strive to survive. [Slight consumable rework: Make potions of different levels no longer stack but rather you keep the strongest effect, its too strong and kinda clunky/unfun prepotting so much to be optimal. Reduce the amount of different levels of potions to reduce clutter (White, Blue, Epic tiers should be enough). Dark and Darker is not only just a game, it’s a lifestyle. The only thing that stops me from ripping the flesh off of my own bones is when I feel like a cute little medieval wizard. [Add a keybind for disarming traps that doesn’t require you to look at trap. While on elevation your character cannot turn cursor vertical enough to actually target it for disarming. Dead bodies also block the trap from being targeted.]

Make a uniform trading hall. As I fighter I usually have to swap between ranger, barbarian, fighter and also ranger trade chats just do get the boots I need. It's also bad that I can't sell my spear in the ranger chat. Who else is going to buy it? The rangers in the fighter chat of course. There are filters for a reason.

[make merchants buy coloured items for more gold it's kinda sad when you get a blue or purple with shit stats and you get 12 gold for it or you have to spend 10 min in trade chat just to sell it for 50 - 100 gold maybe we could make it so that white colour is base price and with each "item rarity" price would increase by idk 50 or 100 % (ex. dagger cost 8 gold green 16 blue 24 etc.)]

[fix how the arrow system works. as when you left click it starts bow animation then once it ends it spawns an arrow as if its coming from the bow itself but the way that its implemented makes it so on 200 ping+ theres a delay between the animation ending and the arrow spawning and theres an additional delay to how fast the arrow moves]

A lot of people suggested similar before but:
The stash storage when bringing back the loot from a run should be infinite with a scroll down menu which increases when you put in additional loot in, a lot of games have this mechanic where you can use up all your stored loot, in this game in particular a full set takes a lot of space, so by making stash infinite you can either prepapre sets for future or store more loot in general, no reason not to as i believe everyone either filled their storage stash to the last slot or want to stack up from traders rotation but cant because there is no space left, as long as you have gold or loot you should be able to stack up and not be limited to storage capacity.

[either extend the play test or figure out the cheaters today or tomorrow. Last night ran into 2 different wizards that almost instantly cast fireball and my teammate, who was playing fighter and had extremely high magic defense all purple gear, instantly died without a direct hit. [combine hide and stealth in the rogue kit, the active ability should include the 10 steps while crouching. Leave creep as a passive so It can be taken to improve hide, right now the rogue is the only class as far as I know that has to spend a passive point to gain access to its core class mechanic (mages can replenish their spells, clerics can heal/buff, ranger can trap/access bows,fighter can sprint/increase attack speed, barbarians can tank/enrage all of this without any passives) while rogues have basically acces to a free invisibility potion, which every class can use, but on a cooldown]

Please add a Visual indicator that a player is wearing blue or better gear (hence forth called blue+), that becomes more distinct the more blue+ gear they are wearing. Atm, fighting against groups with blue+ gear while wearing white gear or green gear feels impossible. A great example of this is the fighter class. White gear fighter gets around 30% physical damage reduction. Blue+ gear fighter can get around 60% without mods, and 90% with good mods. That is an insurmountable difference that you can't know about until you are dead already. It will make avoiding high gear players easier if you spot them further away, while also informing you of the danger and potential reward for winning a fight against them.

A training mode where we can get used to any weapon in the game (Right now I'm far best with just the starter gear cuz of lack of using other), later a training mode where we can also spawn 1 enemy so we can train blocking their attacking/patterns. There is no need to think about a name for every single character, since most names will be chosen from other players and the names of the 2nd, 3rd, etc. characters turn into trashnames since you are sick about thinking over a new name and when you found something, it's mostly taken already

if you go invisible enemies should stop tracking you during attacks. I was just in a game and I died because a skeleton champion didn't stop tracking me during his attacking when I tied to hide from a full team with my hide skill. Enemies should still finish there attacks just not while tracking the invisible player.

I suggest that it is necessary to nerf the barbarian at least a bit, it is absurd that you can go full purple armor and a barbarian can come with a green stick and kill you instantly. Hopefully this will be fixed in the final game or it will be quite boring farming to die from 1 hit from any barbarian.

The carpet in the tavern is quite low resolution, this game deserves a high quality one. Also.. add a scoreboard at the end, when the dark grows darker (or a new tab in the lobby with the stats from all your previous runs to not ruin immersion).

Make fights more drawn out specificly end game. One shots deciding fights with high tier gear feels realy cheesy for gear you worked so hard for. Making fights a bit longer with more armor scaling (or just less damage attributes) would be great, because longer fights allow more teamplay and skill. Also maybe more blocking mechanics such as wider block windows for counterattacks, and maybe shield fatigue? Anything to make the combat more skillfull and less "I have more damage on my axe"

I personally believe this game should continue allowing the "Demo" game. and just continue making updates, and allowing the player base to test those updates. find bugs, and review them. and report them in order to get them fixed as fast as possible. i believe it would make a game the player base genuinely wants to play, and make us feel heard. maybe wipe the game every like two weeks to allow for Ui changes and updates to be tested at base level across all boards. systems, and levels. Chances are no one is going to hear this but this is all ive thought about while playing this amazing game. So the way my brain is going about this is, when developing a game, you make an update and at the company that produced the game you have lets just say an out of pocket number of 1,000 people test the updates, patches, and hot fixes. yes thats a lot of people. but this discord has what 97,000 people in it already? Thats a lot more people as a community that look forward to the betterment of the game that can test these new features, hotfixes, and patches that are able to report issues or bugs. So you have 1,000 play testers for the company play, find lets say 17 bugs a day. imagine the feedback and gameplay reports from 97,000 eager players of a community looking for the growth of the company. I apologize for the long suggestion. but No game company does this. they allow for play tests for a week or two every other month, yeah thats great! but i personally believe it would be more beneficial for the company to do it this way to show a game company is FINALLY! listening to their audience. and in turn the audience will feel appreciated and heard.

This is a far-fetched idea but good for the health of the game in the long run. Add a proper Trading section such as path of exiles website where you could for example post an item for a price. Instead of sitting in a chatroom and try to find a item you want through a bunch of spam. Have it ingame ofc, torchlight infinite has a system like this. Makes game much more enjoyable by removing the fact of sitting in the trade chat for a long time to sell or buy smthing.

introduce a new character called "Keeper of the Swarm" Make this character have a shop and that shop will sell you items that were dropped in your last game that nobody looted. So this could be your gear after dying or someone elses gear that died late and nobody got their loot. This would help circulate loot more often and allow people to build more intricate builds and allow for more freedom when looting as long as you have the coin. I think this would be a good way to make the game seem less daunting once you get up to having full gear sets. Plus it could add some fun lore behind the swarm.

[We need some training room to test dmg, spells, combos and to train our fighting abilities. It would be better if we got an online option where a 3 man or even 2 teams can join and fight against each other to test out strats and train, but offline would be fine too.
I think the easiest way of doing it is taking a normal dungeon or a cut out version of it and making it so there is no loot or the loot is impossible to take out.
It would be a great place for new players to get accustomed with the game mechanics without dying to geared players.]

[Increase move speed while holding bow (less move penalty) and move speed with arrow nocked, but remove or lower the slow from getting hit by arrows. If you wear armour, arrow hits slow you so much you stop moving while often doing fractional damage. It means you can never really chase an archer if you're in plate and they bother to shoot at you, especially if there's two, and makes door camping that much more of a meta. Making it about movement and chase/kite skill would make fighter/ranger or armourbarb/ranger interactions more interesting.]

Would be interesting to add an alignment meter to encourage or discourage killing in matches. Currently the game is Pve/PvP however it actively encourages PvP. They should have a reputation system for trading. So people know to beware of some people if they have a history for scamming others and be more likely to trade with people who have a good reputation. Problem: Current trading system allows RMT and RMT encourages hacking/ cheating/ botting
Solution: (either one or both will work)
1.) Each item gets assigned a 'value' and may only be sold in the value range (Hard to implement)
Even a 'budget' version of this system will limit RMT and will make it hella inconvenient to do so
for example if you want to buy 2k gold, you might need to trade either 10 green items for it, or 1-2 purples
Trading players whom you frequently play with allowed w/o any limits
2.) You can trade only with players you frequently play with (easy to implement)

Please rework/balance ghost king for next play test - lich is fine (although some bugs still present but very occasionally; for example purple and blue circle stacking on top of each other).
Main issues with ghost king is high resistances/armour/hp pool so even with epic+ gear, you can't out dps him before too many debuffs are on the floor or multiple screams happen. This is with ranger/barb/cleric comp. A way to solve this would be to lower how quickly you get debuff stacks, nerf his hp pool/resistances or decrease how many times he puts debuff circles on the floor. Recast time for spells.
I personally feel that Cleric and Wizard are a bit strong in teamplay at the moment. I think it is due to the ability to spam spells with no cooldowns at all.
Example: instead of being able to spam all 4 lesser heals in 2 seconds, put a small timer on lesser heal when it is used, say 3 seconds or so. Lesser heal would not be able to be casted for the duration, but other spells can still be casted. This would prevent clerics and wizards from spamming the same spells and forcing them to change spells often during fights. Keep in mind this would cause both classes to become much weaker and would likely require buffs afterwards.

Only allow players to trade items that they have 'found in raid'. This will prevent tradebots and severely limit Item RMT, forcing them to cycle gear through live matches, while not interrupting the return of items to party members. COMBAT REWORK: Make it so we can faint attacks and block/deflect with every weapon. Make it so(Like in Mordhau) we are able to choose from which direction our attack is going to go to and we are able to stab and do a big overhead attack with every weapon.The shields are basically useless now because even if you block and hit someone they still can hit you back without any punishment for them. Also most fights boil down to who has buffed more and has the better gear so there isnt a really big skill aspect when playing against someone of a similar level. That would make the game way more interesting and enjoyable in my opinion.

[Server wipes every 2 weeks or every month, the play test system is already doing this and people love the game. A wipe being: clear out your gold, stash and gear but maybe keep your leveled characters, no reason to regrind to 20. This might help clean up the RMT a bit, prevent the game from becoming bogged down with squads of extremely geared players clear cutting normal lobbies for the "omegaluls" and encourage new players to join in with each wipe as they'd feel evenly matched. This would additionally make for a good pacing for introducing new content and balancing changes with each wipe giving the devs space to tinker without pushback from people who would perceive any change at all as negatively affecting their comp, load out, etc.]

When players bring powerful gear into the regular dungeons, mark their vicinity on the mini-map. People can either hunt or avoid them, which reduces the oppressive nature of gear power differences, and also enables the likelihood that equally geared players will contest them. Less low leveled players will get stomped by decked out players, and more quality PvP will occur in regular dungeons.

Can you please add a game mode for casual players?
Where you ALWAYS start naked and have to succeed with what you find within that run.
If I get clapped then I know it is because of skill and not because a fully geared Guy or picking on a three man team.
You might call it Zero to Hero or scavenge mode. And what are your plans on how the current game model will bring in new players? After the Hype? Keeping higher rated gear out of certain noob servers? better matchmaking?
It seems very unbalanced in its current state, which is fine seeing as how it's still in play testing. I'm just curious about what the future plan is for some of these glaring issues.
Consumable heal restrictions is another. In a game where 1 hit can bring you to half health the richer player can just heal it all back up but a fresh character has to play the entire game perfectly. When i make a new character and die to someone with gear they always have full HP and an inventory of bandages and pots. Or just baseline heals and give every player X heals upon start and remove them from buying.

Currently Open trade channels allows easy access to perfect itemization and Incentivizes RMT -> Leads to cheaters and bots
But, we still want player to player trading in a medieval themed way.
CONCEPT.
Every day (12 or 24hrs) the players gets to fill up caravan inventories with loot and assign each item a price. The caravans will be categorized according to the classes.
A total equal to the classes can be filled up each day.
The caravans will then be available to other players
They can open the visiting caravan and buy any item they like.
The number of caravans they can open will be limited. Which caravans they have access to could be determined either by and open listing or randomization?
Concept is rough and should probably be changed ALOT, but it should avoid incentivizing RMT and “over the top” gear optimization, as well as still provide interactions between players and opportunities to gain access to a variety of gear. It could even be a fun element for the players to see what kind of gear will be in today’s caravans.]

- after playing 50 hours of this playtest i can confidently say that there NEEDS to be bigger money pouches. the coin bags are nice at holding their 50g but what happens when you reach 3k+? one entire half of your inventory is full. current solution? buy heard candies or golden keys which are worth more than you can hold in the pouches. the downside to this is you can spend hours and hours in the trader trying to sell your candy or keys back to players to get coins to buy things. i was thinking maybe a 2x2 coin satchel that can hold ~200 and then maybe a large coin back to hold multiples of 500-1000. just a thought

- Nerf Death Beetle's attack speed or health. 2) Nerf Rogue's Hide duration. It should be used more tactically and not for camping. Right now weapons seem to scale in damage much faster than armor scales in defense once you get to the higher tier loot. Nerf barb lol. Is the suggestion that pops up every now and then, with no feedback.
Imo, the reason Barbs are the most complained about in terms of being OP, is because they have such a high chance of 1-shotting other classes. Being 1-shot just isn't fun. When a Barb uses his warcries (Particularly Rage), your only choice is to run and kite. Not so fun in most situations.
My suggestion then, is to replace the damage bonus that the Barbarian gets from Rage. Replace it with what though? That's where things can get more interesting. As I said, 1-shotting is the problem with Barbs, that make them feel OP. My first thought is to replace the Strength buff with an Attack Speed buff instead. Increase attack speed by how much is something the devs would have to tune over balance patches, I would think.

Remove Haste, or make nerf it slightly and make it so only Wiz can apply on self. Example of what I have in mind is Chivalry I/II, where left click is dedicated to sweeping attacks (left alt being use to determine whether they come from the left or right) and the mouse wheel is used to make over head or stabbing attacks. Another example from a game I would suggest is Mount and Blade, where the direction of the attack is determined by the movement of the mouse, where you move the mouse left and left clicking will give you a left swing, right a right, down a stab and up a overhead. Part of the reason I am suggesting this is because of some weaponry being heavily hampered by the first swing of their animation like the Zwihander’s, war maul’s (I know it has an alternate bash attack, but it gets rid of it’s reach advantage) and falchion’s wide sweeping swing, which usually ends up hitting the walls when you’re fighting players.

Improve matchmaking by matching players based on a score of the equipment of the whole party. Allowed score difference would go up with time spent in the queue ensuring "fair" matches at peak play times while still keeping matchmaking reasonably fast during off peak times. Given the current high player count, even single digit seconds of ramping could lead to a more desirable outcome instead of the current seemingly first come first serve queue draining approach.
Optional: Players could have an option to choose whether they prefer "fair" or fast matchmaking, affecting how fast the score difference threshold ramps up for them.
Optional: Score difference could be limited to avoid extremes like starter equipment using solo player being stomped by highly geared 3 man party which also takes less risks against players who can barely cause them harm. This shouldn't be an option given to the players individually but set up by the developers. If it would be a dynamically tuneable variable, it could be adjusted based on feedback including even quickly disabling it by setting the allowed score difference to a high enough value that cannot be reached.

[adding the option to see ally health bars underneath their player names (which can be turned off) . This could be a small QoL change so that you can more easily tell what your parties health is in the heat of battle. Whilst the one on the corner of the screen is nice, it can be difficult to track when in the middle of combat. I do not think you should be able to see enemy or monster health bars though, just allies. ]

I suggest that it be possible to review, when a person drops the connection in game, it becomes invisible but that it can be transferred. Because if it is disconnected, for example, in a closed place and it becomes immortal, practically like a wall. It damages the experience of those who continue to play and in the case of a streamer, it already happened to him that he died and lost his inventory due to an invisible wall that did not allow him to escape and was locked in a closed place.

-crossbow bug (I shoot it makes the sound and the crossy doesnt actually go off)
-floor spike trap should stay toggled and deal no damage while pressured after initial dmg (I throw a torch on it and I should be able to walk over just fine)

[Rangers in their current state seem unbalanced, high damage, strong abilities and fast movement speed. It feels currently like playing a melee class is just shooting yourself in the foot. ignore haste haters, “it’s too op when a wizard uses haste on a barb I can’t outrun them” that’s the point…. I don’t even play barb or wizard most of the time I play solo rouge but bruh the nerfs need to stop this play test has already been so much more boring than the last 3 because of all the nerfs to rangers weapon range, rouges invis having footsteps and losing stealth when players walk into you, wizards in is and haste being nerfed to not last as long. They were fine the way they were and now it’s causing unbalance by nerfing them and making many aspects just unusable.

i think it would be a good way to make melee more engaging and have a higher skill ceiling would be to add more weapons/shields that have opportunity to parry with similar to the long sword so that it isnt just a slugfest or spacing fight as it currently is, reward knowing directional attack patterns and be able to punish them for being aggressive, and possibly even be able to feint attacks

When switching through your slots for Potions, Bandages etc. don't auto equip something from the inventory if a slot is empty, just switch between the two used slots. It can be annoying if a potion gets auto-equipped since they glow in the dark

[Scrolling through our toolbelt is a little clunky. The lag/flicker we see sometimes as we scroll makes it very confusing which item you're pulling out. I get that there's an animation and therefore duration to switch between each item, but the icon on our UI should cycle at the speed we hit 3/4. Having the icon be more responsive would help a ton.]

Look at gear balancing rather than strictly looking at the classes. Gear stats can be rather absurd and it may be important going forward to look into gears such as strength and defense balancing to help add true balance to the game. Of course, don't remove gear stats as a mechanic, but at least make it a priority to be looked at.

[Since this game is heavily based on DnD, we should be able to multi-class, like in DnD. To be clear, if someone multi-classes, that shouldn't give that person the best of both worlds, rather, that player should have mid-range abilities from both classes. Enough to get creative with play style but not be overpowered. For example: A Wizard/Fighter perk trade might be that the Wizard could no longer take the Arcane Mastery Trait but instead can take the Weapon Mastery Trait. That would make the player cast more slowly and do less spell damage but allow them to use a wider range of weapons (still with the 20% reduced weapon damage if it is not the primary class type).]

For players not wanting or not able to spend countless hours in the marketplace it’s very hard to find people selling the rarest items. It’s an out-dated system for a reason :( I had to sit and wait for 7-8 hours for someone to post a Unique Weapon and multiple times someone else snagged it first.
It felt unhealthy for me to sit so long trying to get it. If someone had posted it on an auction house I would’ve bought no matter what unreasonable price they asked for.
I don’t think players should have to sacrifice their health to have the ability to find item sellers.
This is my experience from spending 20+ hours in the marketplace. At least forward my experience please :) thanks]

Randomized map generation is the game greatest long term need, both in the arrangement of rooms relative to each other, but also in where in each room monsters, traps and treasure spawn. If 20-30 map segments can be made with standard connections and randomly picked and arranged to a grid it will go a long way to avoiding the same rooms being the last once being fought in each game. Within each room segment make 20 or more monster locations and then randomly fill 3-6 of them, same with traps. This will keep each game fresh and dangerous feeling and particularly help keep rogue trap finding relevant, already most players can just avoid traps by memorization.

movespeed on PCs needs a rework. everything feels great vs AI everything feels tuned to make you feel like its challenging even though, atm AI is extremely rudimentary (ill post about this after another 6hr maybe)
PVP however move speed is vastly different than mobs. player dodge eachother in a very different manner than mobs. combat turns into a blur of sword swings and all realism is thrown out the window.
I would love to see sprint, fatigue, encumbrance and maybe some move speed changes in the future.
For now those paint a good picture, encumbrance idea.
1st, inventory is a sack/bag
2nd bag can be dropped - and should be when entering rooms.
3rd bags are inventory so they can be looted if left alone.
4th Bags have +1Lbs per square filled
5th add an encumbrance equation somethings like weight*weight multiplier-strength
6th add a weight multiplier for plate armor and some other large objects like axes, heavy variety of swords and maces.
The idea is each player carries a bag, this bag has weight as you loot you go slower, but you can drop your bag when you fight to move faster.
this goes back to roots in D&D loot has weight, weight makes you slow and tired, use tools like bags, carts, hirelings to avoid being weighed down by your horde.

Fighter skills that are competitive options with Sprint and Second Wind, or at least niche picks that are more compelling. Adrenaline Rush would probably be reasonably viable if either the penalty or the charge system were removed from it. A disarm skill to provide some CC would be extremely cool. Add, or convert Taunt into, a skill that provides damage reduction to nearby teammates so the Fighter has some defensive utility besides being a body. Convert Victory Strike into an attack that actually has a decent damage bonus and/or provides any kind of meaningful combat utility (armor pen, armor shred, movement speed slow, attack speed slow, cast speed slow, bleed, healing reduction, anything).

Hitstun/Pain should last proportionally to how resistant the target is to that damage type. Stabbing a dude in full armor with a Protection Shrine up should slow them less than an arrow to the skull of a naked dude straight out of Rust. This will help normalize footwork and help mitigate ranged weapon's ability to win fights by locking down someone with nil-damage hits, forcing them to eat unavoidable followups.

[I don't think the 16 player limit for the main dungeon makes much sense - it constantly results in solo or duos being outnumbered by bloodthirsty groups of 3, dungeons should be consistent party sizes.
Additionally, the starting tier of gear is absolutely just a trap for new players to suffer - its better to simply remove all your starting gear and use the first normal or grey weapon you find than it is to actually wear any of it, maybe just remove the starting tier and make it grey tier, or buff the starting weapons at least.]

Cursed armor sets. They're rare drops that you can find in the dungeon piece by piece. You can't lose them, and you can't loot them from a player. They're about on par with a green piece of armor, and you get to use them every 5 portals if you die. They're also "unique", as in you can't own duplicates pieces in a set. There's 1 set per class. The inspiration for them was the green sets you'd find in Diablo 2, but also a balance mechanic for gear disparity since you can always have a "good enough" set to go in with. The lore behind them would be that they just keep duplicating and you can't get rid of them so no one wants them.

Please rework the balance of casting spells on teammates. The new meta where you over buff a fighter/barb just isn't as fun as the older playtests where you had to take fights slower. I understand you may want the feel of progressing in gear to be noticable, but it makes the game very unfun. Softcaps can be a great solution when it comes to gear damage. Aswell just nerfing the quality of the spell when casted on not yourself. The quantity of spells can at times be overkill as well. Having the ability to full heal teammates 5 times just shouldn't be in the game because it shouldn't take that many heals in the first place to finish a fight.

I see a lot of people talking about melee classes feeling less powerful. Perhaps when you guys add durability you could make it so that shields will block more damage than they do now but instead they take a LOT of durability damage. I was thinking maybe a whole new start area for just the lobby? make it interactive so players can run around and chat, and have a store where you could sell items. Kinda like a destiny hub type of thing. Never been a fan of destiny but i think D and D could be very enjoyable with something like this. We want: 4- player possible. Bigger and more maps do it like Apex Legends where the map cycles for everyone (all 1 hr map x then all 1 hr map y). Nerf Ranger a bit. Increase movement speed overall for all classes. Red dungeon NOT EVEN POSSIBLE NOW. If players decide to enter red portal, they should be healed back to full health, and given at least 1 health pot. Add a roll animation. Wraith should drop better gear for such insane health. Champion too. Increase door size/width. Cannot function as wizard when ur tank/ team eats up the door. Add a gunner class! Add a Traditional Rage mechanic to Barbarian to make it fit its role more neatly. It's starting stats should be lowered to account for this change. When Raging, the Barbarian should gain a buff to its combat stats for a set duration, and gain a debuff to its defense stats. This way, the Barbarian can be a bit more differentiated from the Fighter by having a short burst window where it can dish out a ton of punishment. Instead of it being currently just a fighter thats really good with 2 handed weapons

Mage has to flip through pages in the spellbook to find the spell to use say takes 1.5 seconds to do

[add actual backpacks to the back of the characters like you see in the loadscreens that display loot like weapons and such. Allow us to take the backpacks as well for quick loot but we dont know what exactly is inside them until we set them down and open them like building a campfire]

the ability for clerics (maybe mages as well) to cast spells without using magic weapons such as staffs ect. with a significantly longer casting time. This would allow clerics at least to carry a backup weapon of their choice as well as to keep their guard up if they need to without having to swap to a staff or other and expose themselves even further when they're already in a bad spot especially when playing alone

For caster classes, as to not miss spells meant for teammates, allow some leway on how close the center crosshair has to be on the person for the spell to make contact. as its hard to properly track movements in the heat of battle to cast a support spell. No changes on casting harmfull spells or other spells to enemy players for balance

[Change the default placement of items when looting to attempt top to bottom instead of left to right. simple QoL that will make managing inventory a step above what it is now. As it stands now there are so many clicks involved in freeing up space for gear if you've been looting small stuff. Even if you plan ahead and premptively organize your loot its still a lot of clicks.]

[Add an item listing marketplace / auction house where you can list your items rather than a live chat trading feature. Current trading system is frustrating from both a seller and buyer standpoint (functionality-wise and time-wise). Huge time sink having to wait and find someone to either buy your item or sell to. Sometimes someone would post an item you want but it goes to whoever is lucky enough to have their trade accepted. Listing marketplace helps to alleviate those frustrations and allows player to spend more time in the dungeons. Helps to standardize item pricing across the board as well.]

[Rework the way how blocking works for certain weapons so using the more skilled weapons can be more rewarding for the players who decide to use them. For eg. people using longsword and being able to block instead of actually focusing on where the opponents is about to land their hits have to look at where the hitbox of the block on their sword actually is because some small percentage of it can actually block which usually punishes you more than rewards while you have a spear that literally outranges most of the melee weapons and has block that is way easier to manage. Having reduced hitbox of a sword while blocking only because you have an option to riposte after you successfully do it is a horrible tradeoff that people shouldn't get punish with for wanting to use more skillful weapons where you actually have to do something more than spamming right mouse button for it to work like most of the axes or swords combined with shields.
PS. Not sure if its bugged or intentional but a lot of times when you even do block the hit after you hear the successful block you still get hit which completely makes no sense if its intentional. I can understand a 2 handed hammer being able to go through the block but maces and other one handed weapons randomly going through the block that is so hard to perform makes the weapon completely random and not reliable at all]

[Analogous spells; Generic spells that any spellcaster can use / assign like regular spells.
- Dispel, 6 points, Same range as Holy Light, small projectile. Enemy hit loses one currently active buff (Ignores protection potions, only works on magical buffs)
- Boom, 4 points, Emits a thunderous boom, causing very short/temporary deafness & vision distortion in targets affected in an AOE.

Add an 'insurance' slot, which lets you pay gold to protect a SINGLE item each run, and if you die, you have to pay an amount to receive it. In game you could drop maybe some filler treasure or something for the killer or nothing. Say for example you want to insure a purple sword, you pay 15 gold and now you can't lose it. You die and have to pay another 15 gold to retrieve it.

[make lobbies based off gear. Have lobbies where only grey armor can enter but can only get gear that’s one rarity higher. Would benefit all new players and people without gear. As an example I played one game where a team of three rogues in full legendary camped the last three portals, one shorting everyone due to Invisibility. They would allow players to slowly build up and not constantly be set up by level 20 characters in 2k gp plus in gear]

Change hp to a new stat like constitution or vitality so the barb's rage doesn't increase his Strength by 15 and therefore give him a bunch of hp. i understand some more hp but he is the most tanky class even when naked. Also give fighters more hp or better starter armor they get two tapped by a skeleton and the rogue doesn't.

Since it's already possible to move your items between your characters with the help of a friend for mere 30 gold (15g cost per person) I suggest cutting the middleman and making an option to transfer items from one character to another for 50-100g. People do it anyway, so why not make it a bit more expensive and easier.

character stats need to be reworked. Knowledge and will are rarely used for non caster classes while resourcefulness is needed for ALL classes. Why do Cleric and wizard have 5 and 8 resourcefulness when every other class has a base 15? player allocated stats I feel needs to be implemented as well as slight reworks to how the stats work at their base. Certain classes have many stat points that aren't actually benefitting the class. The wizards stats are, strange to say the least. If you took 5 away from every stat to reallocate, the wizard would have 0 strength and resourcefulness. Just a small gripe, the classes feel unbalanced and I believe stat allocation is a big part of that.

Adding a necromancer class, able to turn one enemy players corpse , or an enemy NPC into your thrall for the duration of the game, able to revive like cleric. Debuff spells and maybe a spell that allows your physical attacks to lifesteal a small amount of health per hit. A spell that makes a glowing skill follow the enemy or maybe the undead won’t hit thin unless provoked. A spell that Consumes a undeads pile of bones to extra armor for 20 secs. Undead themed spells or debuff, lifestealing heals or taking your own health to heal an ally.

[Change the wall spikes in the goblin caves to be more visible. They are largely invisible against the cave wall topography with glints and sometimes literally submerged in the texture and invisible. Adding wall spikes more reliably to the minimap would be helpful to avoid people having to memorize the entire layout of the entire map.]

Please make a equipment rating system which groups players into different lobbies based on the rarity of their equipment.
Reason: it is far too easy for player to abuse their accumulated wealth to hunt and kill players who are trying to get equipment and slowly bleed them of all their gold. at the same time, it is too easy for people to go into lobbies with no gear and grief other players by suiciding into them for a shot to steal their equipment.

My biggest frustration so far as a cleric player is when I’m trying to buff or heal myself as a player charges me and I have to whip my mouse in a direction(usually up or down) in order for my buff/heal to not hit my opponent instead of me. Well this comes with significant problems. If I look up my staff tends to hit the ceiling and my cast fails completely. If I look down I have found a very inconvenient feature. Your buffs and heals will hit dead players and npc bodies laying on the ground. So I end up only hitting myself with my heal or buff while in actual frenzied pvp maybe half the time. I understand that, while frustrating, not being able to hit your ally while in combat and he is moving back and forth trying not to get hit is kind of part of the play. But it would definitely be a lot less frustrating if they added a way I could hold down shift or alt or something in order to automatically cast on myself. Or even better just make it so that heals and buffs can’t hit enemies or at least NPCs.

for weapons that can be duel wielded maybe add optional one handed “abilities” to them, like for the short sword or falchion the ability to hold it in two hands and increase the damage multiplier, the rapier being a dueling weapon a possibly riposte similar to the long sword, daggers could have strong overhead stab or something, just to provide more depth to the weapon system itself

[Feedback - While the game is still in alpha stages I think there should be a matchmaking system that considers the gear of players. While having powerful gear and being the strongest in a lobby sometimes due to that gear is fun, it is often unfun for those who are not as geared or new to have to compete against those geared players in almost every game. The game needs a rework of the trade system because my experience during last 2 playtests was really FRUSTRATING: too many people writing(even with filters), when you trade someone, if another one trades the same guy it cancels your trade. People who have already left the channel, people who sold the item, people trolling...
At the end, it becomes a war in which you fight to get a trade because 30 people are trading at the same time.
I've been like an hour trying to buy just 2 rings and I ended up to quit the game.
I understand that devs want to preserve the "classic" experience but there is no way this is correct.
I'm pretty sure that an auction house system would fix these problems but if it's not possible there you have a list of improvements.
Improvements:
-Avoid the "trade spam" windows. Instead of that let trade just the first one who did it.
-Delete automatically messages from people who sold the item or who left the channel.
-Allow us to search in more than one channel at the same time: In addition to the problems I stated, I've been wasting time a lot of time looking, for instance, to a light foot boots in the fighters channel, the rogue channel, the barbarian channel when I'm a ranger just because no one was posting those boots in my channel.

self cast button. PvE option for 1-3 players could be neat, goblin caves could be used for that. goblin cave in current state could be really fun for groups of 2 people, both battle royale style or just pve with no pvp. goblin cave was sort of advertised/introduced in notes as a "single player." so was a bit disappointing to not have a truly solo thing to enjoy early levels or some PvE without looking over my shoulder at all times.

I like this game and many my friends too but part from us don't like play versus players, and I think will be very cool play together only vs monsters and clearing all dungeon. -more campfires! I think they should be more common loot and cheaper to buy. You could slightly nerf the number of charges on spells or significantly nerf the charge regained to compensate. Besides ability recharging, I think campfires encourage interaction and provide an interesting dynamic to healing. They really make this game feel like D&D.
-Less noobhunting. I don't want matchmaking based on elo or gear, but I think something should be done to discourage noobhunting. Fighting against people stronger or weaker than you is part of the thrill, but when fully kitted players chase down noobs just for the kill that's not thrilling for either side. I think having movement speed be increased by better gear contributes a lot to this since it makes it much harder for an ungeared player to run away from or outplay a geared player. I think move speed should only be based on class, movement penalties and temporary buffs.
-On that note, while the zone and the portals have their merits they also contribute to the noobhunting problem and could be better with some tweaks. Also, clerics are out in the cold with no escape abilities and really slow interaction speed. They need some way of getting away from fights they can't win.]

a summary of my suggestions after playing playtest 4;

Either add a notification to the party leader when everyone in a party has pressed ready or make it so that all party members (including party leader) has to press ready and then the game starts.

Add a (perhaps purchasable) hideout where you, amongst other things, can test out your weapons/spells/gear on training dummies and can make other progressions outside of the dungeons, giving a new purpose to the farming aspect of the game.

PVE & PVP experiences. balanced in a way that PVE players (40 hour workers, tired adults, grandpa nerds) can enjoy the experience and get to PVP in their own time, while not having too much to worry about the extremely skilled players. PVE crawls can be dungeon delves going up to maybe 3-5 levels getting progressively harder so the greed sifts out those who make a return profit and those who have to pay for their hubris. PVP having superior loot due to killing farmers, obviously, but also a grand prize at the end. PVP arena events with no looting or loss of gear for unskilled players to train up against real people with no consequences drawing them back and a small sum of gold to the winners (like 15g each) a round.

[Make temporary damage visual effects on enemies like sword slices or even just a simple gore system. Visual feedback is nice! The wizard spells perhaps also could use some temporary damage effects on enemies like some brief flames coming off you if you get smacked by a fire ball or lightning briefly traveling around the enemies' body even after the wizard's lightning spell is done. Also I like the sword magic enchantment class someone suggested . It would be amazing if we had that class makes temporary ice form on the "wound" of the enemy when the sword magic class swipes a blade with a Frigid blade enchantment/spell. Or a burn like effect from a slice of ignited sword from either the wizard ignite spell or a flame enchantment that new class. Or even sparks from blades after clashing with other blades or shields. Oh and expanding on the sword magic enchantment class idea any magic weapons should have cool visual effects like how the ignite spell does 🤷 like dark swirling magic on a necromancer weapon that has a bleeding power. Lastly just more effects in general. - Also I saw the original person of the sword magic class (I gotcha you bro) trying to edit / add that the sword magic class' enchants should give debuffs like Frigid blade enchantment can give a temporary slowness and that also the class should have a different way to regenerate spells rather then meditate. Something more unique like a special ability that allows them to siphon magic from enemies they defeat with their sword or magical invisible nodes around the map or some other unique way.]

Its possible to join in into higher difficulty with "bad" gear, but you accept higher geared players will be there possibly.

"Easy" for starters, max white gear allowed to join in these lobby's . Don't allow to spawn higher tier monsters, treasures will be mostly cracked ones, some chest will be naturally empty. Most likely green gear drops as a loot, maybe rarely blues. Maybe red portals even turned off..

If haven’t already, maybe consider adding monk it would be cool if they could utilise brass knuckle type weapons, barehand and quarterstaff. Maybe the mugs of ale too. Would be cool if kills gave them stacks of ki that they can consume to heal a little. Perhaps max 2 stacks if trying to hoard them for a big fight. Buff the damage/armor values of lower quality equipment. Right now armor is completely useless until higher qualities because it does barely anything while slowing you down, and low rarity weapons hit like a wet noodle.
High rarity gear has magic bonuses on it to make it stronger already, it doesn't need to also have twice the numbers. Games like Fortnite have 20% damage difference between gray and orange weapons.
Keep the high rarities as is, but buff the lower ones. If an orange arming sword can do 40 damage, you can buff the starting one from 22 to 30.

1 - remove the speed boost on rage
2 - reduce the axe spec flat damage down from 10 to 5
3 - have savage roar and warcry have a limited amount of uses
they shouldn't have a low cooldown, high mobility skill and should rely on wizard haste instead.
This would bring axe spec down more in line with other classes power perks. fighters, rangers, wizards all have limited use skills whereas barbs just spam the skill every fight with zero skill ceiling

How about next time around we get some bosses that are ACTUALLY melee-friendly and not a oneshot crapshow like the troll that are, surprise surprise, easily cheesed by rangers. I swear, every boss in this game can be cheesed with 0 risk by rangers and it's intensely frustrating that there's such a massive skill gap between fighting, say, the centaur, as a ranger sitting on a box vs as a barbarian trying to go toe to toe.

Blocking feels kinda awful right now because the shields obstruct the users vision completely or almost completely and when you successfully do block half of the time you don't get your turn back because the block stun is so long. I know there isn't exactly a good way to make blocking either piss easy or not unnecessarily hard, but i think in this kind of game it would be better if you could kinda drag the mouse while pressing mouse 2 to change the direction you are blocking (and the animation obviously needs big changes).

One of rogues most glaring issues is the fact that it doesn't have nearly as much survivability as everyone else has, and people here have pointed out how much this impacts us.
I think if rogues had a perk that worked similar to uncanny dodge in D&D, it would be very beneficial.
I think the way the perk could work would be a passive, something like "The next attack the rogue takes will do half damage. This damage puts the perk on cooldown and will come up again after a certain amount of time."
I feel like a perk like this would play into his hit and run playstyle super well. And give rogues the much needed survivability they need when trying to disengage due to their natural hit and run playstyle.

i don't know the limits of it, but could the outline of the small items have bigger "hitboxes"? sometimes while looting small things like bangles, necklaces etc. depending on how they are placed is really hard to loot them, sometimes even impossible, could be a nice improvement for smaller stuff to be easier to pick up

there needs to be and auction system where players can post items and stick to the sell price. This will allow players to spend more time playing the game rather than dealing with the chaos of the trade system. If no auction house then please add a slow mode to the trade forums. [let us rotate items in the inventory by 90 degrees, it would make looting and inventory management slightly faster. Speaking of inventory, It would be awesome to have more specific boxes for inventory space saving, like gold chest, potion boxes, etc. and the said boxes should have affinities (like the money puch allready has an affinity where if you fast transfer money it goes in to the pouch). Also I would like to be able to send all the money from my inventory to the stash in one click. [Add an Auction House that has 2 modes for an auction and a buy it now, prices are set by the player and the tax is based off how much the player makes the starting bid or the cost of the buy it now. Also add a marketplace for miscellanious goods such as potions, lockpicks and stackable items that people can buy in bulk, the marketplaces prices will be based off player economy. These 2 areas should have better sorting such as a search bar, rarity and attributes. For the auction house a BIN/Auction/All button and a Sort By Class function that shows everything that can be bought by a specific class and by default make it have little tabs that separate weapons and armor. Keep the current trading concept but make it in one area for everything with better sorting functions too which would be used by people who WTS fast. These would create a better player economy and make getting equipment you want more efficient compared to jumping through multiple channels that can sell the same equipment.]

Wizard has a glaring problem
You cannot run a wizard without meditate and then spells for your other skill, this makes it so there is zero diversity in skill builds for wizards.
I suggest that each class should have a "class skill" with its own keybind. for wizards it would be meditate, for rogues stealth, etc.
I dont know how you want to go about fixing this issue with wizards but I think it will be a hurdle they need to take on at some point.

At the moment, most of all on weapons and armor, the best stats are damage, or +all, in order to avoid this, you can simply give the stats that are now more percent, for example +10% speed, +10% speed of use, damage reduction, and so on (+10% just for example). So it will be possible to collect builds not only on + damage.

"Ready" status should cancel when region is changed by the group leader. I was put into a game on asian servers with 300+ms, fully geared and unable to play properly. You should have to click "ready" again when the region is changed

[trading with other players is very annoying and time consuming, and since gear has stats and rolls, something similar to Path of Exile's stash tabs would be amazing, so players can look up gear (base type, rarity, rolls) compare that to other similar in terms of pricing, and then trade with the player (or outright buy it like in tarkov). It would make gear pricing very solid since the market would dictate it and less time consuming]

Add area grid loot that enables players to see and drag items into their inventory. This will allow players to loot the surrounding area in a certain range by using the inventory menu. REWORK LOOT - ROLLS
we spend hours trading to get decent gear, then we go into high roller, and everyone just 1-3shots each other, 0 fun.
a ranger with a green bow, can headshot squishy chars, with full purple gear
same with barbs and so on.
- generally the game at the bottom end, works well and fights last longer and are way more enjoyable

Enable looking in stash or trade while ready and during that time block the personal inventory. So you can still look around, gathering hall etc. maybe sort your stash instead of being in a blocked situation.

It would be nice to have a "crouch toggle" key and a "press to crouch" key separately. I hope this is added in the future.
Also, the Rogue should just have hidden belt items as their base kit. The perk is useless when you could choose a damage perk instead, and just leave potions off your belt, and then quickly add them to use them, and remove them again. It just becomes and annoyance, and this would just make for a "quality of life adjustment" for Rogue.

[Add the affinities for various races, and allow combinations of Race + Class at character creation as base instead of unlocked.

[Replace the wizard invisibility with a good zoning tool.
For example an AOE meteor shower or black hole, something that would be powerful in the current barbarian/cleric meta because it would allow you to split the other team up or to deny a chokepoint. It would also allow the wizard to be played as a new defensive role.
On the contrary the top high roller wizards are using the class as an assassin, they effectively teleport behind you with haste+invisibility and then two tap your squishies with zap, fireballs or ignited magic swords, then they just invis back to get out.
Giving them a zoning tool instead would make them more team based, they would control space and would be able to deny it, they would still have survivability and could still be used as a squishy assassin class because they’d still be able use haste, zap away and then deny people from following them with an AOE. It just wouldn’t feel as cheesy. They would have to actually outplay the other team with good positioning and flanking like a ranger or a rogue has to do, not just walk straight into them with invisibility on, then pop it back out.
I’m expecting lots of people to downvote me because they don’t want the wizard to be nerfed and that is not my intention. Low-tier equipment wizard definitely needs to be buffed and I feel like wizards need to be given more kinds of utility.]

Add some sort of bag/pack for your stash/inventory in dungeons to increase inventory space. Maybe make it something you can find or buy. Sort of like how Tarkov has backpacks/duffle bags for more storage space.
Also increase the leveling system and add daily/weekly quests to gain more XP & give players another way of getting gold/holiday candy even if they don’t extract.

[A PvE only dungeon - but the maximum quality loot is white (except bosses which may drop green quality items at maximum), silver is dropped instead of gold, and items sellable to the collector are not dropped at all. Low-tier consumable items (such as grey potions, grey bandages, etc) will be more common. Casual players will be able to enjoy this dungeon if they do not enjoy PvP, but it is low-risk, low-reward, and they will not be able to get high-grade gear without leaving their comfort zone and playing in the normal PvPvE dungeons. New players may be able to use this mode to learn the basic mechanics of the game without having to worry about other players at first, and get some low-tier starter gear for the PvPvE dungeons. Make PvE only dungeons but for a whole side group of characters. Allow people who want to do well in the game or progress to blues and purples without having to ruin the fun of PvP players who work really hard for their gear only for someone fresh out of solo games with purple gear or higher to kill him.
Also add maps that allow 4-5 player groups by themselves, a FULL TRUE dnd like experience for the group of friends. Could even add a seprate mode for it that has a imposter like quest/chance, so a group of five go in, and one player gets a prompt that makes it if they are the last alive, they get a LOT of exp or rewards.

its little controversial but- some changes to mage. And don't get me wrong not to make him overpowered machine just some changes/rework on him. Nerf some stuff, some little buff but the most case is remake the maditation system. idk how maybe making his spells slowly cd but nerf some stuff to not be so op, maybe just make his meditation a mobile version for exaple he is slow himself [ but he can move ] looking down on the ground [ to cant be able see what happens around him when use meditation its kinda a refocusing thing i think and give some option to rush him and slash to the face ;') ] really idk but now its suck that he is the worst calss for making troll boss and he is literally little outstanding with some things like in his gap between making something and making nothing and the whole meditation thing making him little unplayable with other active perks/ abilities cause you must have all inventory in campfire to take instant cast ability. i LOVE how hard this game is, i love this it is little online dark souls multiplayer game and dont want to ruin this i love challenges but pls make him fine, balance [ about mechanics/buffs as same as nerfs] and not outstanding one :c i play 2 playtest all classes a lot and have this feeling about him

[I think killing monsters can be somewhat underwhelming, it's a common thing to get through but most often it fails in the drops to be actually called worth it when sometimes lost a portion of your health. To implement the crafting system a bit more, I would wish for a way to chop of value parts from a monster. These items could be sold for little to no gold, however with them you could start crafting a better armor set depending on your class. For example killing a skeleton mage, will drop you his magic core. With it, you could start crafting individual items, which can't be found in a dungeon. Another example would be killing a skeleton warrior, who will drop you his bones, with it you can start crafting a warrior armor. This could be an addition to gain gold or to get gear when you've had a bad run and not gaining any valuable items to sell.
A small nice to have change, would be different skins for monsters. This makes each and every individual creature more appealing to look at. This could be further streched to more different stages of monsters, that have their own unique habits of fighting.]

Remove Haste (or make Targeted Spells on allies half effective). Not only has it been the meta defining skill in the last two playtests, it removes identity from Fighter. Right now, there isnt much reason to choose fighter over barb. The sprint skill should be the one thing they have going for them, allowing the class to chase down squishier classes, but as of right now, you can just haste the barb giving them a better sprint skill to do the same job a fighter should be doing.

[Hi everyone. My only advice is to remove or drastically adjust the collision between players and spiders and also torches. I've been stuck by these entities too many times, trying to avoid them by jumping only to end up stuck like a rabbit with no escape.
If you have to keep the collision for a code reason, then maybe add a punch or kick that inflicts 1 or 0 dmg and repels the entities. I think adjusting the collision is more appropriate so as not to impact the gameplay too much. A kick can drastically change the actual gameplay (pinning a player to a wall by spamming the kick and harassing them), or maybe make the kick work on specific entities.

[Please don't add option with damage numbers in game. Sometimes people are trying to use advantage of dark to do some stupid sneaky tactic. This option will ruin them especially when attacker has poison or ignite damage. This game is called Dark and Darker and should stay like like that. Current meta is dictated by piling as many buffs on a single front line unit as possible. This leads to somewhat repetitive team comps at the highest ends of PvP gameplay, and pushes a mobility meta as whoever has the fastest, highest damage frontliner tends to be more able to win every fight regardless of terrain or opponent. Add a mechanic that limits buff stacking, so that if a wizard wants to perpetually haste another character, they have to decide if it's worth something else instead. One example could be that wizard and cleric can only "concentrate" on two spells at one time, so a wizard can cast haste+inflame on an ally, but that would come at a consequence of not being able to cast haste on themselves, or not being able to ALSO cast invisibility on that ally. To allow buff swapping, have the most recent spell cancel the oldest one. And as they are not "sustained" spells, offensive ones like fireball, magic missile, or cleric healing abilities would not apply to this rule.

removing haste from the game, without it the combat is incredibly engaging and the footsy battle with your opponent is what sets it apart from any other game out there, with haste its boring and feels unfair at top level because putting it on a barbarian that can 1-2 shot geared fighters kind of negates what makes this game so great. I suggest adding a shop feature that players can buy with in-game coins. This shop would allow players to put their items up for sale with a fixed price that cannot be negotiated. This way, players can sell their items without having to be actively chatting in the trade channel, and even while they are offline or in the middle of a dungeon.

Add a friend list + ability to create guilds so people can create their own community within the game(always relying on outside apps for communication can be a drag for some people). Have the ability to make a room(Tavern waiting room) where people can go into to chill and hangout(public or private) so that you're not only sitting in a chat room, could also add miscellaneous decorations that you could find throughout dungeon dives and can use to make your own unique private tavern or guild tavern.

there is no need for a gearbased matchmaking but it will be a good idea to somehow seperate new players from experienced players. Other games have shown something like a MMR which is made out of Kills per Round, escape ratio, etc. In the beginning from the launch, everyone is on the same level and if players join later, where others already have good gear, they wont encounter them directly within the first matches.

for the cleric class maybe a .5 meter range buff on the prayer skill since 7.5m is a hair to short most times. Shield classes are being bypassed by all melee daggers polearms longswords all pass through the shield like is wasn't even there if the enemy is to close so to fix this i think the shield needs a buff on the collision aspect right now it dosent work very well only 25% of the time. players or mobs mostly, goblin mobs and big bruising mobs like the skelly commander. it would be nice if it worked. as for the starting kit for the cleric can it have a spell book instead of the staff would make the astatic nice since holy people like there books. i also got some cool skill ideas for the cleric. holy fire could be a core skill with a 30 sec cooldown that could be used as a less damiging atack for all mobs and players setting them up to burn a nasty dot!!! and turn undead would be nice to have like a cc for the harder bosslike mobs like the spells that have spell slots i dont think haveing 5 uses and tier one or 2 would hurt to much and its more of a pve cc anyway. also theres one more skill that could be interesting a divine sacrifice skill that kills the user and resses the party but uses his sole to cast it so they cannot be revived more like a despite attempt to keep the group going and it would tempt players to pass on the loot or take it for themselves hehe!!! oh for the last skill should make it in the form of prayer beads that clerics can only use that have no sell price

[creep should reduce the rogues footsteps for the players as well] (it is very misleading and makes it feel like the perk does nothing when there isn’t a noticeable audio difference with and without the perk for the rogue player, it also makes it near impossible to tell when you can move to have other noise masking your footsteps since you don’t know how loud they actually are)

Speed is way too important of a stat and many skills and builds aren’t competitive because they quite literally can’t keep up. I suggest giving a modifier to the strength stat that mitigates the movement debuffs of gear. Practically, this would mean a wizard in full robe with a book and a fighter in leathers, gambeson, and a weapon out would both be unhindered before agility modifiers because they’re physically built to handle it. This would open up a lot of options and make gear made for specific classes not feel like a nerf in some cases. As you pile on strength, it really opens up, making things the crystal sword war mage and war maul builds builds feel good to play. (Because that’s much more dope than a quarterstaff, let’s be honest 😏)

With multiple floors overlapping each other, it is not clear how you get from 1 floor to the other in many circumstances (not all but many). I suggest making the mini map some intelligence so that it ONLY displays the current floor you're on, while hiding or fading the other floors above/beneath you.

[For the bard class which is being considered / currently a WIP, give a spell which temporarily inverts the controls of the target. Also could generally make them focued on debuffs to differentiate them from the Cleric and Wizard]

- incorporate stagger for players and enemies. Certain swings and spells should be interrupted if struck before the hit connects or the spell is released. I feel the game would also benefit from a sidestep ability for all melee classes. Set it to its own input and have a short cool down so it can't be repeated over and over.

instead of extra stash tabs can we have an armory (paper doll) that we can store a ready set of gear to get back into the dungeon faster than going through 1 tab looking for gear that you want to wear you can have it ready to go.

Change the loot system to semi-smart self-found with only the items found during a raid tradeable during that raid ala Diablo 3. If EFT (or even the playtest) is any indicator - any game with aftermarket (RMT) potential will be exploited by cheaters looking to make money to the point where it has a significant impact on the player base. It would be disappointing to see that happen here as well.

[As i think others maybe have already talked about this, adding a guild system with a ranking visible by everyone where the top guilds (for example the Top 5) would get special gifts or things like that, without any advantages IG of course, in order to prove that they're members of THE guild and maybe add special guild quest in order to upgrade like the level of the guild, which would give access to more slots (Would require a certain ammount of gold to achieve) or things like that, comparable to the system we can see in a lot of MMOs]

realize that RMT will slowly kill this game, and put in significant countermeasures against it. I can give 2 examples (tarkov, with 80% of raids having 1 cheater) and the cycle frontier completely dying because of RMT/boosting services.

An NPC inside the dungeon that you can sell your gear and buy potentially rare gear from. This will incentivize the risk-reward of bringing gold into a new game in order to receive this gear.

Remove offensive stats out of armor pieces or specialize them further. One of the many reasons why high end PVP is a one shot fiesta is because you can get insane offensive stats out of armor pieces. In their place, you could either put more specific stats that at least impose some requirement (example: + Axe damage, + Fire damage, + Poison damage, + Damage if drunk, + Damage within X seconds of blocking, possibilities are mant here ), or specific skill bonus ("Victory strike deals +X damage", "Sprint lasts + X seconds", again, could have however many variations and skills you deem fit) and so on. Only weapons and accessories should have base +X damage status. The range on these could be increased a bit to compensate for the power loss, if any.

"RELEASE THE HOUNDS" event:
a map made so you cant parkour your way into cheese, where you can freely loot and have PvP with no PvE... until 6 (or so) minutes into the match, hellhounds will spawn in large quantities with escape portals spawning at 8 (or so) minutes in.

[Make the pickup on a small item easier. Rings or bracelets for example - make the item pickup have a larger pickup "area" instead of having to perfectly hover over the item to collect. Maybe make the vacant space in the middle of some of the objects still count as a collectable surface.]

Pickpocket is certainly fun but I don't see it being used other than to mess with people. I mean why pickpocket when you can kill the player and take their loot instead? So here's what I propose:
A: When you pickpocket you open the enemy's inventory and you can pick one item, that isn't equipped, for you to take. Then the inventory closes and you have to do it again.
B: Pickpocket allows you to only take items you see off the belt of other players, and it's as quick as picking up loose loot on the ground. Sabotaging the enemy while giving you the edge in combat.
C: Pickpocket prioritizes the most valuable or highest rarity item. This'll probably be restricted to an upgrade in training or something.
