Did alright in the opening, made it to group A for round two relatively easily. Absolutely got smashed in round two, I was fearing I wouldn’t even get one W to make it to the final round. But I got the one W eventually.

Got XOguri, got a good career out of her just in time. In the last few minutes before round two’s end, First attempt I got smashed, second attempt got smashed, and then in the third attempt miraculously got the three Ws needed to advance to finale group A. At the very minute the time was up (going a minute over, in fact).

Shiraoki was pulling a favor at Cygames for sure.

In the finale, my front runners battled it out with a Kitasan Black and Silence Suzuka. Scarlet was in the lead for half, then Suzuka took it with quite a margin. In the end, Kitasan Black won, followed shortly by my Xmas Oguri, and, a length behind, Scarlet.

I tried Evil Nature for a round but didn't seem like this was a good CM for her

My Nature wasn’t that stacked with debuffs, I just ran her because I didn’t have any other highly scored umas specialized for the aptitude

I built her for my medium team and while she’s great on paper, somehow it just never works out and she wasn’t a good fit on the team, despite being one of my top umas.

You’re at her mercy as to whether she wins her races or not. She can win a G1 by lengths, or lose a G3 in last. All you can do is make your plans, support her as best you can, and hope she does her best, and if not, there’s nothing more you can do.

I beat Ultra Golshi mode! After the second race I carefully calculated which placing I would need to get to win the cup depending on what my opponents place at. I placed 13th, which I knew was enough, but it turns out that the game will block out the retry option if you are already the overall winner. So if you see the option to retry after the final race, then you must retry, as that means that you would lose the cup otherwise.

Trackblazer might actually be the best, because you have many attempts to get the required points by the end of a year. And you don't have to win all three races in the finals. Or any race, really, as long as you can average near the top and top the leaderboard.

Yeah, initially I thought it's impossible to get it from TB for that reason. But it turns out you just have to win any career.

There is a quest/title, I believe, that doesn't count winning TB as a good ending, so hence the confusion.
