I just don't worry about it. I have a few 3 star sparks now, but I've never gotten stressed over it because it's pure RNG. It'll come to you when it's ready. Maybe it won't be a great parent, but they'll be a solid base. Then you keep using them until a better 3 spark happens along, and so on. Until then, you probably have multiple good 2-star sparks! Those are also good!

I still don't have an amazing top-of-the-line legacy (uma + grandparents all 3 star blue and full of white sparks) after months, but it's gradually getting better.

My focus instead is on farming the hot spring ticket event for all my trainees for completion's sake. Split priority with getting my team trial team updated, and making runners for CMs.

At some point you'll be able to re-roll for sparks at the end of a career. The knowledge of that happening also helps me with not getting worried over sparks. No use in stressing over it when it'll be made a lot easier later.
