Rainbow Bridge needs all dungeon rewards. Ganon's Castle needs four trials. Dungeons are shuffled. Warp songs and owl drops are randomized. Ganon's Boss key needs 80 gold skulltulas, child trade items are shuffled, cows are shuffled, pots in dungeons are shuffled, medigoron, carpet salesman and frog songs are shuffled. Pot texture matches content.

Everyone has an unsorted list of inventory slots, and some of these slots can be occupied by equipped items. Each character depending on class can equip different items in the body, hand and head slots. All characters can equip the same items in the shirt, boots, and ring slots.

Also, one-of-a-kind items are artifacts. They're indicated when you're about to sell them. If you sell or drop them, you can buy them later from any merchant that sells that item type

This game doesn't have skill based logic, so logic rules being too strict is wrong

Apparently the upstream randomizer guys are also shocked this was possible

It's very unlucky to be this far in the game without whirlwind

In summary I got into Shaman Village without whirlwind and managed to get a few checks. Using a few endgame psynergies you can bypass the need for whirlwind on the way, but the base randomizer assumes you absolutely need whirlwind

For example, when I play subnautica, what a check is only appears at a white line of text, for a few seconds, and every check comes while my limited oxygen is going down so I'm in a bit of a rush
It's best to check yourself every so often
