Musings on Gooba:
I think Gura's fine. She doesn't stream as often as she used to, which I can reasonably speculate being due to a couple things.
- Gura is the most subscribed to Vtuber in the world. To be the most in the world of anything is huge, but to be so in part of the entertainment industry, where your job is to be the best for as many people as possible every single time you show your little sharky face, that's got to be an insane mental load. If Gura wants to survive as Gura, she needs to meter those appearances so that she can be as sure as possible that she does succeed whenever she streams, which translates to primarily streaming at peak efficiency/performance.
- Tying into reason 1, I think Gura loves her job. If she doesn't want to mess up, if she wants to ensure that she's the best Gura she can be for her fans as long as possible, she's gonna do what's necessary, which means limiting streams when she's busy, needs to prepare, or is just doing what she thinks is an appropriate load for her physically and mentally.
With those in mind it's near certain that her stream frequency isn't something that she decided only on her own. Cover's gotta value this girl highly so they'll suggest and insist and probably in some capacity demand that she does what she needs to do to keep bringing in the dough. That and her friends have her back, so she's got a wide support network.
