I think they're trying to make auditions a revolving door now (IIRC they have already done this with ID, pretty much permanently open auditions). They're big enough that people are always going to want to try to join and they'll have no shortage of guys and gals who want to take their shot. Having always-open auditions also increases their possible talent pool as they can catch people who might not have been able to audition during limited windows because of work or school.
