late hw that is, i had a different body glam for quite a bit before returning to this one from arr. there was some shuffling with gloves, and some more shuffling with shoes also

mnk feather was an immediate staple, though i changed the color later, and pants were a given as soon as i spotted them on marketboard (since they come from sb im pretty sure)

i do quite like the way im set visually, i was just momentarily distracted by allure of pretty cape

i do hope this glam will translate well into my planned race swap for dt, but that is goin to be a pretty transitional expac across the board either way, given graphics update and double dye and whatnot

kinda the ideal time to do a glam refresh

i genuinely am so excited its gonna be amazing

but yeah, the left hand is q e r and alike plus the first 4 numbers on the top 1-9 line, and right hand is numpad, alt+ and ctrl+ for other rows. for healers i sacrifice my numpad hand and the most spammable (ie mostly damage n maybe regen/adlo) stuff goes binded to left hand so right hand can tap party members and less frequent heal spells

which yeah my biggest weakness is not being used to spinning camera around

i do have some camera binds on arrow keys but cant for the love of me remember to actually use it

5 extra buttons are already plenty to round out what I need

I easly get 1-4 with my left hand, Q and E, and if I need it I also have Z and X for some specific uses

So the 5 extra buttons there (plus ctrl/Alt modifiers), get me all I need

Also the best feature is that if you press the button near the mouse wheel, it becomes free spinning and you can shoot it

So if you need to scroll down or up a page real fast it feels really nice

To be honest, if I really need it, I could probably do without this completely and bind some more buttons around WASD and be fine, it's really just a nice to have

I'd recommend Flying Sardine, Basic Instinct and Mighty Guard to start off with

Sardine is a great bait to engage enemies with for levelling, Basic Instinct and Mighty Guard are essential for solo clearing instances for spells (Though you can get other people to do them with you, given how many attempts it can take, it's probably best to keep them in mind)

Ram's Voice and Ultravibration are similarly great, making for the "Vibe Check" combo that can instantly clear a mob pull (VIbe has a 2 minute cooldown though and Ram's Voice doesn't affect all enemies)

Missile is also great when it works... Generally it won't work on stronger enemies, but if it does you got yourself an easy clear on a fight.

Most of the Primal spells like Garuda, Shiva and Ramuh's spells are great OCGD spells that you can just throw out mindlessly (Keep in mind that they're paired with different spells, so you can't use Ifrit and Garuda's since they share a cooldown timer)

i do like the fights of ivalice, at least. the silly math boss my adored aside, i got orbonne monastery a lot durin the ten year anniversary event which let me slowly absorb the mechanics. now its definitely the alliance fight i know the best, which makes it really fun to run for me

... uh oh so yesterday durin when that ddos attack happened i was running orbonne monastery. given i got kicked out five times in span of like twenty minutes, i eventually gave up and went to play something else. well. now that im tryin to log in, the game still thinks im in orbonne monastery and. uuuh. it just doesn't log in! or well it tries to, and then it throws an error message that server lost connection. i thought, okay, ill just jump worlds, that will put me back at uldah aetheryte. except it. doesn't let me world hop because it thinks im mid duty......

I thought it was I tried to log in with an expired subscription, and renewed it after, and I thought the server had trouble realising that it was now active

But it was probably the Disconnection that did it

For me just waiting like, some time, fixed it

like, an hour, maybe less
