If you played Bozja Logograms are essentially Lost Actions
If you haven't played Bozja, Lost Actions are extra actions you can use, that usually allows you to do stuff that your class usually might not be able to do
An example is Bloodbath, that when you activate it, for a bit all your damage you do comes back to you as health, or various cure actions as a non healer
Or extra damage stuff for tank and healers.
That way classes can cover roles they normally wouldn't be able to.
IN Delubrum Reginae, one of the Bozja Dungeon, once we didn't have a tank so I tanked as SAM by using an elixir that lowered my damage but gave me a bunch of damage reduction, and a provoke lost action and another one I don't remember what it did.

@elfin wave uh oh u activated my trap card explainer mode. while ur duty roulettin here's an idea why u could be dyin as mnk a lot; is it possible ur watching your buttons too much to pay attention to the boss mechanics?
see, earlier in mnk i had the same issue where i was tryin so hard to punch (haha) the correct combo for nadi i needed that i missed a boss tell or the party movin to a side. i still do that sometimes, only now im occasionally trying too hard to make sure i have buffs and DoT active.
my advice to mitigate that, aside from muscle memory, is to:
A) make sure you have good hotbar setup. its crucial for mnk that ur nine base rotation skills, meditation, perfect balance and masterful blitz are easily accessible. this is core of mnk. i also recommend the placement of ur skills make sense logically - group raptor, coeurl and opo opo skills together, group perfect balance and masterful blitz together too.
if i remember correctly, u have ur rotation skills set on 1-9 numerical? in that case, put 1- Dragon kick, 2- Twin Snakes 3-Demolish. that's single target rotation 1 and its the add buff buttons (DK grants leaden fist, TwSn grants discipled fist which is dmg up, Dem puts DoT on target).
next set of buttons would be 4-Bootshine, 5-True Strike, 6-Snap Punch. this is single target rotation 2 and its the "if i have buffs going on i use this for more damage". Bootshine hits more if you have leaden fist active which u got from dragon kick, so you always alternate between these. True Strike is marginally better than Twin Snakes, Snap punch is way stronger than Demolish For Demolish you're on rear, for Snap Punch you're on flank.
In practice, for a single target while you wait for perfect balance to charge you would go something like "1 2 rear 3 4 5 flank 6 1 5 flank 6 4 2 rear 3". it rlly gets easier the more muscle memory you have - "mnk the fighting game genre" job and all that.
finally you put 7-Arm/Shadow of the destroyer, 8-Four point fury 9-Rockbreaker. thats your AOE rotation for 3 or more targets. Four point fury grants Discipled fist, same effect as Twin Snakes so dmg up.
With that out of the way, Perfect Balance doesn't add too much in the way of complexity.
For lunar nadi you want three same forms. Ideally you apply leaden fist buff pre-PB and do bootshine-dragon kick-bootshine, or 3 Arm/Shadow of the destroyer for aoe. then you KAAAMEEEHAAAMEEEHAAA.
For solar nadi you want 3 different forms, so just go thru a rotation depending on what buffs u have or dont have up at the time. In the ideal scenario thats Bootshine-True Strike-Snap Punch or the aoe rotation. then you FIREEEEE.
And when perfect balance recharges, you press three of whatever (ideally u repeat lunar nadi of BS-DK-BS for max damage) and then you turn into an ultra missile.
congratulations thats basics of monk. remember to press your riddles and ur better than like 70% of monk players.
B) is your HUD good? just make sure to have your job bars somewhere where its super easy to see them (i recommend setting meditation bar to simple mode and keep nadis in the regular mode). ideally do the same to your buffs and boss debuffs (have you tried separating "target info" and "status info" into separate elements? i found it really helpful to put boss debuffs right above my buffs so i dont have to look if demolish is active all the way at the top with boss hp).
granted i have a laptop so everything is already, well, very close together. just, perhaps give it a try so your eyes dont have to wander far between boss and your job bars. sorry if thats obvious and im rood by explainin this to my game senior, but it helped my mnk skills so much when i reorganized my HUD
anyway this has been monk 101 with bringi

honestly it could just be a Skill Issue of getting used to the Level 70+ stuff while doing a SB raid, as opposed to a regular dungeon, since raids were endgame
getting exdeath rather than Omega is a blessing tho, just a matter of remembering what the elements do

just to add, in my case i have my skills set as 1 2 3 and alt-1 alt-2 alt-3 for single target and 4 5 6 for aoe, set logically like i outlined above so i know if i dont have buffs use 123 otherwise alternate (lmao), and i have perfect balance 0 and masterful blitz alt-0 so i know "pressed 0 nadis are ready press alt-0 to unleash now". then i have meditation and form shift on Q and alt-Q, bc those are skills u press pre-pull or while ur runnin away/waitin for a boss to do its thing. and sprint E thunderclap alt-E for movement tech. maybe its just me but i find it really helpful when i can justify button position in my head, i find it easier to instinctively remember where my buttons are when the fight goes "COLORFUL FLASHES AND EXPLOSIONS AND DEATH AND SUFFERING AND WHAT THE HYDAELYNS CRYSTAL BUTTCHEEKS IS HAPPENING"

Six Sided Star is the equivalent of the ranged attack most other melee jobs have
It's not ranged, but it fulfills the same purpose
it does a lot of damage, but it has a very long global cooldown, so you use it when you need to go far away to avoid an attack, and you know you wouldn't be in range to deliver the next attack
So you deal a higher damage attack, that puts all your weapons skill on a longer cooldown, before going out of range

I did E4S unsynched with a team of 8 and it requires some learning
I did E12S synched with a full team and it required many many hours of learning
E9S is ||Shadowkeeper|| and it's not the worst, but still a full team of people you know and know the strat territory

In my estimation, what going unsynched would make easier, is that healing is much less stressful since every aoe doesn't do 80% of the hp (and occasionally kill if it's complelely unmitigated) and everyone can play more a LOT more sloppy and still kill before enrage
But you still have to learn the mechanics, if not all of them most of them at least
DPS checks are a much bigger deal in savage
You know how in normal, failing a mechanics gives you a vulnerability debuff that makes you take more damage right?
In Savage it gives you a damage down debuff, and that's a lot worse because with not enough damage you can't kill the boss before enrage

Like, if you need to do another weapon and you'd have to pick between an ARR one or a SB one, which one you'd pick?
I'd go for SB anytime
The saving grace for degenerates like me, is that unlike Eureka, you can do more than one at a time
So doing all of them wasn't that bad
Because you could do certain activities that advanced like 2 or 3 steps at the same time
Assuming you had both quests accepted while you were doing it
So it was like, 5 steps, and I made sure to have at least one weapon at each step at all times
