If hypotetically I was using plugins, what I'd have done is just not use hotbars to swap jobs, but use a mod that swapts to that job when I click on it in the character page

i'm using one hotbar with multiple layers for macros

F1 to switch jobs, F2 for mounts -> F1 for tanks, F2 for healers, F3 for melee, etc -> F1 for white mage, F2 for scholar, F3 for astro, F4 for sage

so F1 F2 F2 turns me into sch

works well with muscle memory too

If in party chat you write <se.x> with x being a number between 1 and 16, it plays a sound

I'm relatively confident the game sees those as system sounds and they play even if the player has the game minimised

The game still play certain sounds when it's minimised, like if a duty pops and all that

These are often used in crafting macros, that can go on for quite a bit
Because you can start the macro, minimise, and a sound will play when the macro is done

I'm definitely up for Eden as well

long story short about yesterday, i got a call from mom. my aunt had a surgery recently, which itself was a routine one, but durin it they found a different issue. thankfully it turned out it's not cancer and is a treatable problem. in better case she'll need more surgery, in worse case she'll have lifetime medication. next week we'll find out which one its going to be
