Ok this is the bit in which I rant about how good Shadwbringers writing is.

Because bringi, you are smart, you identified a problem the writers had, but they also did.

This unlike Stormblood, is a cosmic level story, meanings that we ||start battling to save the world, and not a more ground level closer to the characters everyday problems...so what to do? How do you fix this problem of cosmic level stories being less relatable?||

Simple, first you break down the "saving the world" in two different main problems: ||Opposing Eulmore and destroying the sineaters||
Then you take the two most sympatetic characters in the group, and tie them as closely as possible to those conflicts, ||Alisaie has a massive stake in the wellbeing of the terminally ill in Journey's End, and Eulmore fits perfectly as part of Alphi character arc of opposing corrupted hierarchies.||

Bam now you have two close to the ground conflicts to care about.
