Then you can exchange them for a chespiece that gives you a pretty massive boost while in Eureka
This is the armor, you can also buy the armor directly from the market if it costs less than the 2 cryptic seals
As a sidenote, you really only need one class to be good at Eureka, you can pretty much gather the materials to do the weapons for any class you want, exclusively using another class entirely

Personally, I do think that up until after Stormblood ||they weren't completely sure themselves which direction they'd go with it, they are really good at leaving hanging threads, and then latching to them making you think it was all pre-planned, but some details get retconned along the way if you pay attention, about the echo and the blessing of light.||
Which is fine, they do it really well and they tell an amazing story with it

They definitely did eventually get around to writing several expansions ahead and thus drawing out the arc's trajectory. And that becomes apparent after a point in the storytelling.

Hmmm, I'mma quickly throw out a headcanon that ||the blessing of light was a lighter enthrallment in order to get you through ARR, then once Ultima drained Her strength it went more on the back end of things as you naturally started getting stronger on your own with the whole crystals thing and eventually beating Venat herself proves that you no longer "needed" Her protection and that's why she passes on after the Mothercrystal||
