Elemental shaman was the most fun I've had with specs so far out of the ones I've tried. Frost DK being a close second, but I hadn't tried unholy this exp yet. Ret is still fun, and I was surprised having fun with resto druid which I hadn't before. The groove guardians thing is awesome. Couldn't get into the other druid specs, even feral which I had enjoyed in the past.
Probably will do lock next time.

I've seen level 11 characters doing timewalking with exp turned off. With good gear at that level they absolutely shred the mobs and bosses. Good way to farm bronze tokens.

Yeah, 10-20 you will absolutely delete shit. After that it becomes more normalized, but leveling slows... then kinda drags from 50-60. Then enemies hit way too hard rom 60-70, but you'll level up faster.
Note that's with me using a full set of Heirlooms. You're going to outlevel your gear way too fast doing Timewalking.

One of the requirements that was just found for the secret felcycle mount requires someone in the group to have 3 level 25 secret pets to use during a pet battle. I've done it, so if anyone needs it once they reach that point lmk and I can help out.
Ah, nvm. They're now saying that the quest doesn't show up in groups now. So I suppose everyone needs it.
Thankfully there's some easy secret pets to get. I used the Wicker Pup (just collect some items in Drustvar to combine), Nelthara (level 70+ aug evoker only but quick) and Terky (an egg you click in Borean Tundra.) Of course, you'll still need to buy level 25 tokens from a vendor or grind the levels. But those pets are the easier ones to snag and win with.

I think some of the pet battle NPC in TWW are vendors too and some sell the boost to 25 in exchange for pet tokens

Most of these days pet battle WQ can be done with level 1 pets - if you check wowhead, you can generally get suggestions for pet combos. And very often, the same dozen or so pets pop up

Oof, there's a 5x5 grid you have to solve with statues, and you have to map out the changes on the grid for each statue you click. Thankfully there's an addon that makes it easy to do the tracking, and it solves once you confirm all the inputs for every statue. But it was tedious.

Another 10% exp buff too. 5 level 80 characters, DMF, Anniversary, and that 10% exp pot up to 49 = 65%, 55% from there on.
And since DMF tickets are warbound now, you can move around them as needed to buy the 10% buff from the vendor so you don't need to do the ride every time for the buff.
Or just sit on the ride while spamming timewalking works too xD

I made the mistake of picking up the Warlock quest that takes you to the Faire, then went to the Fair normally instead of using the NPC teleport.
Which
- Puts you in the quest instance instead of the normal Faire

Huh, you can make destruction easier. There's a talent that you can pick up in place of Havoc, called "Mayhem" that puts on Havoc passively for you as you deal damage.
Spread some immolates and cast of Conflagrates to generate shards, Conflagrate also makes your Incinerate and Chaos Bolt cast faster, stacks 2x. Use Chaos Bolt/Incinerate.
AoE use Rain of Fire as you have soul shards.
Can be as simple as that if you want it to be.
Don't have to play around with Soulfire in the talents, can skip it. Less abilities.
Warlock has a lot of bloat abilities
But yes, if you want something very easy, and has big burst, ret pally is definitely worth checking out.

Frankly, I think M+ should have no gear rewards. It should entirely exist for Achievements/bragging rights. Rewarding better gear has encouraged people to rush-rush-rush and treat everyone else in the group like shit if they can't keep up, which has spilled into other parts of the game.

It's popular, but that's mostly due to it being the best way to gear up. And the culture that's built up around it has really degraded everything else.
Removing gearing from the equation would leave it the realm of people who want to push their skills and such. But I do agree it'd be better to rework all the WoW systems entirely, so they're not straining against each other so much.

They did stop delves at +8 for gearing while +11 still exists. That should go higher, to like 623+ gear or something. Also the crests being only at +9 (now +8) feels really bad, and so on

I'd like to add on that I think both healers and tanks should receive an extra bonus something for the added stress of playing their roles and to incentivize more people to fill those roles.
And yeah, I'd like to see changes that make the environment overall less toxic, so making depleted keys not as big of a deal as it has been.
DPS shouldn't have to spend an hour trying to get into a +10 if they've done +9s.
The sweaty gamers can still fight over higher keys because of IO beyond that point, when it's not just gear/crests they're after but just IO for achievements, and whatever else cosmetic items Blizzard should add.

The problem is that the toxicity is already baked into M+. Even if the change happened tomorrow, we'd be looking at the 30th anniversary before there was enough turnover in the playerbase for the attitudes to wash out.

I really like how quickly you lose mana in classic. Actually feels like a resource. You have to decide when to be methodical with using it, taking your time and using lower cost spells, and when to just dump everything asap to down a mob now. There's then lots of items you can secure to gain mana over the course of the fight for raid bosses when you want to use your best spells, but you need ways to gain mana if the fight lasts long. Anyway, I just like the slowness-- to each their own!

Gotcha. There are a couple toys you need to start, but I believe you get them quest chain that leads to the Assistant to the Assistant Guest Relations achievement that you need anyway for the mount, but it sounds like you're working on that.

Yeah, my problem was him dropping his frontal attacks right on top of the coccoon, meaning I had to get away and try to come back... then he'd drop the fear and I'd have to get away again, which didn't work well if the coccoon was by a wall.
Lots of annoying RNG is all.

Yeah, the cocoon part is easily the most annoying aspect, especially when it spawns on the ass end of the universe

If you have just one char (prob your main) who has managed to do that boss right and gotten the citrine, that means you can buy them from vendors on the siren isle. Since the citrines are warbound, you can just send them to alts (they cost 50 of the iron thingy so it's cheap)

In Season 2, tiers 9, 10, and 11 delves will reward more Runed Crests. Tier 11 bountiful delves will reward Gilded Crests up to three times a week. This will be from a separate chest in the bountiful delve, so players will not be required to get a key to acquire the Gilded Crests. We will not change the Great Vault’s requirements in Season 2. Tier 8 will be the highest delve to run to get rewards from the Great Vault.
In Season 1, you have a chance to find Delve Maps at the end of a run. These maps give you a large boost in rewards when used on another delve, including acquiring Gilded Crests. However, some people never found a map during their runs due to bad luck. Other players received multiple maps a week, followed by nothing for months.
In Season 2 we’ll increase your chance to get a map with each run if you do not find one. We’ll also limit it so you can only earn one map a week.

Transmog is not free. However, it's applied to the slot rather than the gear, and you can have multiple outfits set up to swap between at will.

Didn't really watch any of it but apparently the race to world first mythic dimensius was pretty crazy. Three guilds doing well but two well ahead of the pack, getting to like 10% pulls multiple times.
Keeps inching lower and one guild is just doing multiple sub 5% attempts (5% health remaining, which is like still 300 million hp, but people do millions per second dps so it's really not much).
Other guild was doing stupid mistakes and dying very early stages so they took a break, then managed to snag the kill while the other group had two back to back .5% or .6% attempts. Super close race

Completing the campaign storyline. You do have to kill the raid last boss but there's the story mode/single player option to do so, and after that you also have to complete the new dungeon (eco dome) to finish the storyline, but again, you can do the Follower Mode to finish it

TLDR, with the laying offs that happened a month or so ago, a majority or totality of the social media and info publishing team (what you see on blizzard.com websites) got axed and outsourced to people who don't have a clue about the lore at all.
So a lot of the information on sites is wrong, and how the info we got from gamescom was all over the fucking place (AND how we got it from all over the fucking place sources) is the folks who remain utterly scrambling to catch up. Meanwhile, stuff posted on the official sites ended up being wrong and getting corrected during the day

It depends on how much they want to relax the restrictions. They do tend to work like this, go high first then lower it to what seems good. But they don't want weakauras to play the game for you, which a lot of them have essentially been doing

the GCD for that is longer, and i think it reduces damage for the abilities? So it greatly sucks

Different circumstances. The unified button is for teaching newbies how to play the game. Using it in a raid is not going to work out well.
The combat WAs were a problem, because they literally told you when to hit a certain ability to deal with a specific boss mechanic.

So doing LFR / lfg (but search specific dungeons) to do all the current available raids/dungeons at least once is definitely the best path for early infinite knowledge gain

But definitely try to aim for those things first - infinite knowledge gets more bronze and I think more xp too? So getting them early is key and the dungeon/raid ones are easiest - you can use LFR for them starting I think 19-20 or so

Managed to hit level 40 today, got a few achievements including the 50 Empowered enemies in Heroic world mode. Then immediately turned Heroic off.
