You used to be able to queue for an instance, but if you went into too many too often (10 chars in short notice for love rocket, for example), you'd hit the limit of instances nad have to wait like 20 minutes or so. If you hit that limit, you could queue but once you get teleported to the dungeon, it won't teleport
QOL: group finder won't even let you queue now and just give you an error message saying you hit the limit

Earlier, you used to start the queue, then the queue popped, then you get teleported to the dungeon. If you hit the limit (like 10 in an hour) , you're forced to wait a cooldown. And you'd still be in the group but you don't get teleported at all because it says you've hit the limit
Now, when you click on the "queue for X dungeon" button, it gives an error message instead telling you've hit the limit - which is a massive improvement over making you wait then realizing you can't do shit, wasting your time and others' needing to find an extra person

Masque, you can get the Love Hearthstone extremely fast this time around. If you do the main quests outside of Stormwind, you can get all the tokens you need in about 20 minutes.
Although, uh, I don't know if there's a big difference between the Stormwind/Orgrimmar quests, as Orgrimmar was very fast at least. I assume they're the same.

You can do that questline on every single char too so if you want to get the cheaper toys and stuff, just do it on a couple chars
You will have to do the dailies about 5-6 more days to get to 270 tokens for the two expensive ones though

If you do just the main quests you have enough tokens to buy the 100 toy and 40 pet, both of which you can hold on to sell later.
If you have a lot of alts that can be some pretty good one-time gold.

Okay, I now have everything from the love event minus the loveboat (working towards getting on an alt) and the dragonriding skin.

The utility of Spriest has also taken a bit of a dive this patch. Mass Dispel and Mind Soothe are both significantly less useful this tier. Mass Dispel and Power Infusion are both much weaker than they were in 10.1. Disc looking strong is also not super helpful to the viability of Shadow in M+ as a whole. They really do need a vendor for buying low drop mounts if you meet certain criteria. Like, if you don't receive it on the 100th try, you start accumulating currency to spend at a vendor for the mount and other transmog from the raids/dungeons.

A few weeks ago I tried doing a +22 rise with a group. The leader spent a while putting the group together. He started up the key, and I shit you not, a dps left right after the tank pulled the first set of mobs. No consequences, a depleted key, and a waste of time.

I'm curious what they'll do in TWW, but I don't have very high hopes right now about it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I think in S4 this xp the most they could do is adjust the affixes a tiny bit, maybe remove 1-2 offensive ones, add some news ones, but that's about it.
Nothing for depleted keys until maybe next exp.
Strongly hoping that they just go all out for the final season and do kiss-curse stuff, or something to make the keys more enjoyable and feel less bad.

Oof, yeah. I do feel that they need to have an experimental pvp team that just primarily focuses on pvp content to see if they can revive it. there's 2 quests you can abuse this
Quests that would take 1-3 hours
down to 10 minutes each
There's the one that has you buy materials from the AH to use an item on. The item has a CD, but! In the WoD scenario thing the CD goes away if you use the item, start the scenario, and then stop the scenario. It resets.

Doing the quest where you use the item, then it asks you to combine it with Awakened air/earth/whatever. Easiest thing to do is proving grounds again to reduce cooldown, but it's RNG as to which element it gives and some are far more expensive than the others

However, I must say at least as a priest, I noticed that most of the time I was just using my new rune abilities to deal damage as I leveled as they vastly outdid anything in the base priest toolkit. I'm not too sure how to feel about that personally. I do think there needs to be some more balance between the runes and regular abilities, as well as a touch up in talent points.
It feels like a slap of new paint more than anything, at least from the leveling perspective. I can't comment on the raids or pvp aspect.

However, TWW leading the charge for the Worldsoul Saga is Metzen's leadership. So a lot of the plot threads started in 10.0 here and even some in 10.1 were just dropped or pivoted away from mid-expansion (oathstones from 10.0 for example) to better facilitate making changes to TWW to be the first step of worldsoul saga. Iridikron probably was still the DF end boss, but that was changed into him being a multi expansion villain now, etc

Story/lore-wise I think TWW will be fine. It'd be really hard to do worse than DF, SL and BFA. Gameplay-wise it's going to play out roughly the same as DF. I think overall the expansion will be good, but I'm not really expecting a "wow" factor coming into it.

The art and music direction are always fantastic, so that'd come as a shock if they aren't in TWW.

Oh yeah, this is purely regarding the story. It's really plain to see how some things pivoted or were altered for DF, some storylines just are really abrupt or not followed up at all, probably in order to focus on stuff that would then build up towards TWW
And whatever in TWW should've followed DF would already be altered to follow the new stuff so we'd never be the wiser

Right. I think given what we'd seen in BFA, and SL the creative change was needed. I think we'll see a pretty good narrative going into TWW that'll only get better over the course of the saga as they gain momentum. At least, I hope.
The gameplay this expansion was good, with maybe the exception of 10.1. Zaralek Cavern, the raid and S2's m+ pool was pretty bad if I'm being honest. 10.0 and 10.2 were both fantastic in their own rights though. 10.0 was probably the strongest initially of the patches, but lost steam when we realized its professions were a big mess, and gear catchup for alts wasn't great until the Forgotten Reach. 10.2 was almost a smash hit I'd say overall. Easy alt catchup, great m+ pool, great raid, great new zone. Definitely one of the better expansions if we ignore the glaring issues with the narrative.
