PSA: Make sure to loot the anniversary box on every alt. Those 200 badges you can use to buy rep tokens if you still need rep for any factions for mounts or anything.

The first nightmare boss was utter cancer. It rotates daily though and the current one is in ashenvale and much better. Still annoying (fast moving puddles that stun you for 5 sec) but not instadeath like the fucking mushrooms

How it used to be treated as a cash cow, funneling money into project titan, and them not expecting it to last this long. Aklin: Overwatch came from Titan. A kinda tl'dr:
Titan was supposed to be a new MMO with a new setting. However they couldn't get it to work, so they salvaged it by releasing Overwatch, which was in that setting.
Overwatch 2 was actually step 1 of the plan to get Titan again - the walk stage. That's why they were including hero talents and so on. They were planning on patches/expac/etc to get it to the run and then sprint stage, which would've essentially brought it to being a MMO style game
But they couldn't actively keep OW/OW2 as a game going and develop the rest at the same time
IMO they'd need at least current WOW-sized team or bigger to do that right

Ha. I had my alt to Renown 12 the hard way, so I got the 100% boost off that on my main, plus the 10% off Pilgrim's Bounty now. With the 100% boost I got to Renown 7.5 purely off quests, WQs, rares, and treasure. So I was able to save all my tokens and pop them off today. I picked the ones that would get me to around 9.5 before using my big one that pushed me all the way up to 12, and the rest took me up three more ranks.

And if we could get some different modes (or moods more like it...) for the followers that'd be great.
We need spicy, toxic, friendly, silent, pug leavers, ect...
That'll give the new player a REAL idea of group content.
It's cool that you can still bring friends along for the follower dungeons, so if you have one other person you can still que for it and not have to deal with randoms.
So, I was thinking about M+ and what others have said about it...
I think I agree with the idea of having more incentives to stick with a "dead key" instead of moving towards punishing players for leaving. I was watching a video on how the incentives could revolve around maintaining your own key, and using currency you collect for completing other keys, timed or not, in order to preserve the level of your own key if you happen to fail the timer.
This could create an environment where high-key players join lower keys in order to save up currency to preserve there own. And even if they fail to time their own high-key later on they can save its level and other players of that group will still get currency they can use to keep theirs saved for later as well.
There was some other ideas behind using a newer currency for keys, such as increasing the level of your own for an insanely high amount of currency and swapping out your key for a low to moderate amount currency instead of having to run the same-level key to do so.
But the idea is there.

I think overall it's pretty true now that blizz is far more open to change and feedback than it used to be. The complaints about M+ have been much louder in this xpac than before so we're definitely going to see changes. What/when, who knows

14 was an interesting exodus. I imagine those who are into the competitive scene have migrated back. Salvage raids and crterion dungons don't hit the same as WoW raiding and Mythic+
The casual/crafting side I imagine 14 were able to retain a lot of the wow playerbase that migrated over. That might change with the next WoW sets.

I absolutely agree with that. From what I understand a lot of those higher end mythic raiders who went to FFXIV for a time skipped out on the story and just bought the boost, did the end-game content and went back because it didn't hit the same. I keep going back for the casual highs of FFXIV, such as the crafting (which I ended up maxing out, even though I'm only halfway into Stormblood) and for the story.

The item doesn't lose ilevels when you convert it. It keeps the same ilevel. But i mean, the calculator is good to see if say: you have a 460 item in the slot already. But vault gave you 450 tier piece in the same slot, and that gives you 2 piece of the set. Is the set piece worth losing 10 ilevel on that one slot? Generally, yes. Is it worth losing 20-30-40 ilevels? That I dunno.

I'm thinking I need to get either my DK or my new Pally up to 70 and just stick with them as my new main. Especially once we get the ability to claim any armor type for transmog, I won't have as much reason to run my other classes.
But damn my Outlaw Rogue is fun.

I used to like inscription a lot when glyphs were a big thing that you swapped out to increase your character's power.
I haven't tried it since though
and I don't really want to level another profession after how long it took to level one this expansion.
