...and all three DPS were mages.

The other two were fire and arcane, i'd queued as fire too because frost cast timers didn't allow me to hit much in earlier instances but now it works, so i switched to frost and we had all three specs going at it

I've played Frost since Wrath, I never did enjoy the other two specs much.

Fire can be great fun. Just mad amounts of crits is pretty great and it's fairly more mobile than frost

Feral druid needs a way to appear as they character while in cat form. Balance druid has the astral form thing, so why not cat? I did find sort of a way around this by using the Atomic Recalibrator toy, allowing you to appear as any race in cat form without looking like a cat but that's a 4h cd for a 1h use.

I could see it being an issue in pvp maybe but they could disable it for there

I'd say the best way to get it is to get all the easy mounts on that list by dungen farming. Then when the heroic version of the dungen comes out in 10.1.7 to spam it.

TBC-Legion mounts are easy, BFA can be done with M+2 spam for 2 of them. Doing that will give you a 25% chance to get the timereaver on the first attempt since you'll only need one BFA mount, two shadowlands one and the timereaver.

And the heroic version should be spammable in dungeon finder when it comes out and the mount is on the loot table still in the heroic version.

You can also just hold onto the mount until you farm out every other possibility too

The mythic shadowlands dungeons can be solo'd

but they're a bit slow

With timewalking and gear dropping 389, if I really wanted to I could push 15 attempts a day per shadowlands mount but uhh I'm not trying that right now lol

Btw people proved you unfortunately can't get the Corrupted Ashbringer from the quantum great swords from the new dungeon. Some people had most of the transmog, so when they tried to use the sword to get a new transmog they couldn't and they didn't have the corrupted ashbringer. I really wish they had brought it back with the new naxx stuff in some way, while making it extremely hard to get but I guess they treated it like the zulian tiger mount and decided not to bring it back.

I figured out a way for a group gold farm using the new dungeon. If you bring 5 people who can use two hand axes in some way, and make sure to set the specialization for the appropriate spec and have a guy who has every 2h sword transmog unlocked besides the Pendulum of Doom you can trade your quantum axes to him to use, get the super rare item to sell for 2 million+ and split it 5 ways.

That's if the quantum weapons can still drop in heroic and I guess it also depends on the drop rate + how long the dungeon takes.

I invited 2 Ret Paladins, and a DK Tank. We did the whole dungeon fine up until last boss. When we got there, the Tank and Paladin DPS demanded 50k or they would brick the key. When I didn't pay, they intentionally broke the key. Wtf man.

Early Defias tend to be spread out, you can deal with them one at a time. The kobolds tend to swarm, which is when you get overwhelmed before you know what's happening.

Closest thing horde has a place northwest in the Barrens that has Harpies. The first quest has you kill level 13-15 ones but there's a level 18 pat that goes into that area. Not as scary as a dust devil though.

Thankfully we don't have a "wetlands run" as horde. Having to choose between jumping off a cliff to potentially save a lot of time or die or run through wetlands and potentially die anyway sounds awful.

Getting to badlands for the first time can be scary for horde though

Worth a watch, but to sum it up: While blizz has been putting out actual high quality stuff, it's often stuff that people aren't necessarily excited about. Biggest example: Drac'thyr as a playable race instead of Drakonids, which is what people wanted. People want more exciting things (see: Legion) rather than the big cosmic void vs order things. Dragonflight is good, just not Hype. But he does think, especially with Metzen's return and how he has a big role, that the "feel" of warcraft will be returning, and with the current team and size of the team, we'll get quality stuff. yeah I couldn't care less about the lore and cosmic level stuff if the only unreliable reliable way to get a bis trinket is to farm the same dungeon 70+ times in the hopes that it drops or pray to rng that you get a good vault roll. Now, if I'm enjoying the game by playing it I'll all of a sudden start caring about the lore if it's good! It's one reason I have a hard time sticking with games like FFXIV. The lore is great, really good even. But if I'm not enjoying the combat and the gear isn't exciting to get along the way, all of a sudden the story becomes less enjoyable for me because I know I'm not being rewarded the way I want to be.

Probably talking about the Chromie time raw gold farm. Bots can get 20k+ gold an hour raw which is ridiculous for people who use them... One account alone spamming for 24hr a day is making at least 480k and by the time those accounts are nuked those people have enough to put up several more accounts and go again for larger margins. That's been in the game for 10 months now.

But yeah, if nothing is done it's just going to keep going higher and prices for everything is going to inflate.

The sad thing is that Blizzard is probably making more money because when people see big gold numbers for their $$$ they buy, in turn making Blizzard slower at doing anything.

It really isn't that bad to get the 40 mount (free for paladins and locks even lol), especially if you skip out on buying unneeded abilities/ranks, not spending big on professions (just get skinning and vendor leather), and using the AH to sell often.

spellcasters have it easy with wands so you could potentially skip out on more spells if you have a good wand since they're extremely powerful early on until probably like the mid-late 30's

I really do think they need a bad luck protection system implemented for mounts. Like if you have a 100 attempts on one, the % should slowly go up from each attempt onward. At a certain point it just starts to feel bad if you're just that unlucky.

Hmm, I disagree. CE is enough of a status symbol really. And farming the raid the next expansion with a group of 10+ is still annoying to do. And if you get tokens each week for killing the boss and made it to where you need like 50 tokens. That's a year of farming if you're unlucky in getting a mount that already is a 1% drop. The mount is still going to be a status symbol for a long time regardless. Also, nice!

Then do a few of the dailies (org or valdrakken) to get 40 more and bam, you have 200 tokens, which is enough for the most expensive item

So apparently the heroic version of Dawn of the Infinite can't drop the mount. So you can't spam for it sadly. Makes sense but also, ugh.

It shows that it can in the heroic version journal which apparently is a mistake on their end, a pretty big one if you ask me. There's a lot of people who've done 100+ attempts because they saw it available in the journal.

Sorry, I am never touching classic again. I loaded it once just to level a DK through their starter zone for some unlocks in the main version and then promptly uninstalled it.

I got my fill of Classic back when it was the new thing.

I do the official classic servers every once and a while though, but I've been enjoying DF so far and haven't really felt the need to come back to that yet.

The only way we'll convince them to make any meaningful changes soon is if all of a sudden there's a massive exodus from M+. But considering it's still one of the best ways to gear up I doubt that's going to happen anytime soon.

The healer shortage should be a red flag already, and the fact they haven't done anything to rectify that is silly.

I mean, who wants to heal and take on a lot more responsibility for the same loot chance as a dps player, especially since this season really seems to be punishing for healers. No healers are a rare species now.

A quick bandaide fix is needed for the meantime. Give healers and tanks more loot overall.

I know adding stuff like tokens that you can use to spend for gear at a vendor, affixes, healer/tank changes, more dungeons, etc is a LOT more and takes a long time to test and develop.

What's funny to me is that random buffs and dynamic encounters in the M+ esports scene would be an amazing spectacle for the viewers and would attract more attention. There's plenty of games out there where RNG plays a big factor in determining a victor (I think of the TCG scene or Pokemon double battles).

Warrior with a lot of deaths I get, but come on hunters! I know they're popular but my goodness they're so good for leveling.

I'm at 99% to have seen the kodo mount according to the Rarity addon. Either I'm extremely unlucky or they changed something to the drop rate, made a mistake, made it to where only one character per day has a good chance at it (like the Valentine's mount) or I don't know what.

But I've seen a lot of people in my position this year so I think they definitely did something

I just did the Lightforged recruitment this morning and rolled a new Paladin, so I'm leveling her and stopped to do some Brewfest stuff. I'm not too worried about it, I can save these for next year.

A big problem is some expansions are missing their story because Blizzard operates on a FOMO.

Blizzard also doesn't do enough to keep older content relevent because they only care about what's going on the last 2 months.

I got the screaming black dragonscale trinket from a heroic chest for my warrior. No idea where it ranks for fury but it's still a trinket!

In any case, it's still a really cool one even if it doesn't rank highly.

Yep from the last boss. We managed to time a 20 so we got the teleport and vault gave me the trinket. What I have is still better in ST but for AOE the dice is like .6 better
