I have it on several characters from when Transmog first came out, and that was how you kept stuff for it so as not to take up bank space. If you deleted the item, you could no longer transmog it, so this was their compromise.

There's nothing worse than the dread you feel when someone leaves or dc's during an M+ run and having no recourse.

Tbh they should just implement a failsafe system for keys up to +15 or something where if someone leaves or DC's the timer pauses and it teleports you to the start. The timer could start up again once the group is reformed and they pull the next set of trash or the boss.

It could be a group vote thing too, where they can decide if they want to pause the timer and teleport to the start.

Only issue would be having toxic groups vote to kick someone out to have them replaced... Hmm.

Even with limited time, progression from heroic to M0 is extremely fast/extremely easy. I'm mostly saying that if it's even possible to do it, a 372 should be the minimum level for an item, since that's what M0 give. I think heroics are 359?

Hmm, so leg armor kits can get you to 75 at least. One can drop from Grand Hunts and the other you can buy from the Cobalt Assembly vendor (rep grind woo). Then there's optional crafting reagents you can craft if you go into primordial leatherworking and either pick decaying or bestial up to 20 to unlock one of them. Those would work up to 80. 80-100 is epic armor pieces. I don't know off the top of my head if all of them require a spark or not, if not perhaps I could help out using my chaos since I have over 400 at the moment and could burn 250 or so.

Yeah, I've had no luck getting the recipe to drop from the grand hunts, so I need to grind out Cobalt rep.

I wound up going deep into Leather Armor Crafting and nearly maxed out Gloves, so once my skill is up I can make really high quality leather gloves.

Wow, I've had an incredible run of finding elemental mining nodes this morning. Went from Mining Skill 35 all the way up to 51 in less than 30 minutes.

Also, some of the placement of these mining nodes is seriously fucked up. I found two yesterday that are impossible to actually mine because they're hanging in midair.

The worst are those expedition bags you can open for treasure. There's always a cluster of 3 on the border of the Waking Shores and the plains below the dragonscale expedition camp that phase out when you try to go to them... They're always there taunting me.

I got my first dragon shard that gives you 1 KP in a month. Came from a chest from a m+ run. They really made them rare... I think I saw one from a expedition pack once...?

It's per week, not month. But the sources are pretty varied, I got some from packs, sometimes from killing a rare or skinning, so i'm not exactly sure how it works

If you're 70, which I think you should be, you can go to Valdrakken in the... blue flight area? There's two NPCs that send you to dungeons and killing the last boss usually lets you loot the quest item

Should be able to do it on normal too, or higher. They're a good... 400-500 rep, I think? Or maybe that was boosted. It's at minimum 250+

I think you can soon buy shovels for dragonscale and dig dirt piles, they give all sorts of stuff, including the items that you can turn in for rep

For the expedition soon if you haven't unlocked them yet you'll be able to do a ton of Pokemon Snap and mountain climbing world quests for them for a lot of rep each week. At renown 5 I think you also unlock the ability to go place flags for them, which will get you far into 6 or possibly 7, can't remember.

I do like how some of the renown level rewards are from quests. So if you complete it once, one reward. Complete it again on another char, you get to choose one of the others

Row 1 is 2/4/6 raid bosses (any difficulty, but it depends what difficulty you complete to improve loot. You can do 6 LFR and 2 on normal, and the first slot will be normal level and the other two will be lfr)

Row 2 is 1/4/8 M+

That one varies a bit, 1 is the highest one you've done, 4 is the lowest of the 4, and 8 is the lowest of the 8

The rest is pvp so I ignore that shit 😛

So in my screen for example, row 1 was 2 heroic bosses then 4/6 normal bosses of the raid. Row 2 was an 18 key, I think 15 or 16 for slot 2, and 14 for slot 3

And that was hovering over the 8 M+ slot. I ran one more to replace the 12 with a 16, which made that 14 halls the lowest of the bunch

I feel really bad for the players; especially the ones who lost their save data using the backup tool as soon as they could. I know Blizzard is running low on time to get something functional out there to save people's data but the fact they still had over a week and released a buggy mess that corrupted a lot of people's save data puts a bad taste in my mouth. Also, yeah this whole thing is a PR stunt, 100%. NetEase didn't like the contracts and made a big deal about it and decided to take everyone down with them while trying to look like they have no part in the bad side of things. I know Blizzard isn't all sunshine and rainbows, of course they're not but NetEase didn't exactly do a good job depicting Blizzard at being 100% at fault here.

His suggestions for some of the professions and their potential interactions with the work order system are interesting and I'm not entirely sure how I feel about them. Making pots/enchants work order only and taking out their quality level is in cool in theory, as it would lead to a lot of interactions between the seller and buyers but I feel that most would just rely on their guild to work through the guild system to have them crafted and would probably lead to more of a headache than anything. Especially, for example, if Billy forgot to place his order in for the week and they would have to run back to have them crafted through the system in order to be ready.

I have to say that I've really been enjoying the new profession system overall. Yes the public system is bleh right now. But the interactions I've had with others as I fulfill their orders has been an overall great experience and makes me feel like I'm an actual professional jewelcrafter which is something I never felt before doing professions in an MMO.

I didn't realize how important social interactions were for this game and MMOs in general until I tried classic WoW back in 2019 and again in 2022 with DF.

Yeah, I've done no shadowlands stuff so I'll have to unlock it. Also, after raid would be 6pm for me which is when I'd start on dinner, so either it'd have to be even later that day (at least an hour) or Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday. Thursday I'm usually busy most of the afternoon until later at night which would be like 2am for you. I'll unlock the stuff but we'll need to work out a time.

It'd be cool if we had to use our rescue ability to save people from void zones or knockbacks that would otherwise kill them as we had to heal up some npcs during a fight. They could do time travel stuff using the bronze drakes and have us heal during key moments in history. Like the battle with the Lich King and we could use our rescue ability to save people from being knocked off the edge. Then transition to another boss fight that requires us to use key abilities to keep people alive.

But that's too cool and too much work for them to worry about.

They'll probably adding it by tweaking difficulty and adding/tweaking stuff for Evokers, but overall I think for something that would truly be something you can return to every xpac, they need to redo a lot of it/change some of it

Some side quest lines for these guys that aren't in the Woke Shores (this list is not complete):
Quest chain starting Out of the Blue at Gelikyr Post in Thalaszdrus, gives good rep
For Sojourner of Ohn'ahran Plains, I think "Nelthazan Ruins" is the only one that gives this rep.
For Sojourner of Azure Span, the sections "Gorloc Shore", "Shiverweb Vale", and "Ruins of Karnthar".
There is a one-off quest at Theron's Watch (far north of Azure Span) "Wayward Tools"; but the other quests in same hub don't give rep. However, Hemet Nesingwary can be found in this area, and he has a series of 6 quests; 3 of which give 400 rep for this faction.

Sojourner is the "loremaster of X zone" for dragonflight, they can be helpful to find the last places you need for questlines in some zones. Look up wowhead and it should have a map or some links, usually

The way I think folks really "grinded" rep is the scout packs, which you can find normally, but also the dirt piles. I think with rarescanner/silverdragon, you'll get a notification if there's a dirt pile nearby, but you have to buy the shovels which have only 5 charges (or 10? I think 5) and don't stack with each other

So, I made a weakaura for several of my spells to tell me when they're up and then I got to my hover ability that lets me dash forward... Even though I specified the spell id it still thinks that my glide ability that I use when I press space bar twice is my hover ability too so this is the result I see with the weakaura:

The solution would be to just not press space bar twice all the time but uh... yeah that's impossible for me.

I did the first part of the quest, now I've got to do the second dungeon run.

So Rukhmar has the same treatment as the pandaria bosses (won't instadie, short respawn timer). Now I have another place to park alts

Yeah, I should probably just part some alts near various mount-drop bosses, instead of going around to each of them on my mage.

No luck on Sha of Anger, Oondasta, or Galleon this week.

No luck here either so far, and yeah. I focus on my two 70s, every other character of high enough level is in pandaria usually to log in once during the week and get the kill
