I don't think so, it won't change icons on the fly like that. There are macros that you can use to just press one button (say, 1) and depending on if you press shift/alt/ctrl or whatever, that same button casts something else

Yeah there's one in Org right by the Flight Master / Flight Trainer. Most of the major cities have someone who will teleport you to the entrance.

Rough rule of thumb: when you see a mob has an Elite icon, basically add +3 to its level. That's how tough it is compared to a normal mob of that level.
So if you're level 61 and run into a level 62 Elite... it's going to hit you like a level 65-ish mob, which will hurt.
My strategy so far as Evoker is to use Living Flame at range, keep using it until the mob gets close or until Disintigrate procs & use that. If it's nearly dead, either Living Flame again or your instant cast Azure Strike. If you start taking to much damage, you can hold down Alt and case Living Flame, it'll heal you instead of hurting the enemy target. ANd you've also got ... I forget what the big greetn AoE heal is.
Plus you can use Wing Buffet or Tail Swipe to knock them back and buy a little time to heal up and/or kill them.
Don't forget, you've also got a spell-interrupting ability in your Talent Tree called Quell. That can be used to stop them casting any ability (unless it has a 🛡️ icon in front of their cast bar), or again you can use Wing Buffet/Tail Swipe to interrupt if Quell is on cooldown.
There are Training Dummies in some of the major cities you can practice on. And if I'm in-game and you want some help, let me know and I can join up with you.

Seems like several people with professions are having trouble getting skill ups. The issue being they can only craft r2 instead of r3 and people don't want to send in the work order for that. So, the people with professions are paying people to send in their work orders that require chaos so they can skill up. Seems like a major flaw in the system that is very much unintentional. Unless Blizzard does something to remedy that; it'll only get worse as time goes on.

It's mostly you get stuck from skillups around level 65, then you must craft some of the epic recipes to get skillups. But people want the highest quality for that, and are stingy enough to not want to spend much either
So they want 5 star without spending mats for like 1k tip or something, and yeah, that's silly

So it turns out you can get 100 (200 for the uncommon fish) rep with the tuskarr for each of these turn ins from Khuri. You can only get the rep once per turn in for each different type. I don't know if this resets daily or weekly or if you can get rep ever again from doing this, but it's at least an easy 700 rep.

Yeah the work order system isn't playing out as intended.
They should have npcs put in a random number between 5 to 10 a week to make it appear people are engaging the system thus encouraging others to do it.

Hmm, I think they need to have incentives for people to send in public work orders when they're not guaranteed to get the highest rank crafts. Perhaps having a weekly quest where they're rewarded with 200 mettle, chaos or a spark for doing so.
Or! A daily quest that rewards +1 skill and/or knowledge point for using the public craft system.

Ehh, still wouldn't say exactly that. Battlepasses, you pretty much grind the levels to get everything. For this, it seems like you get something like 500 automatically, do Y activities to get 500 more, which is all you get during the month, and it's not a gigantic amount of activities either. So it's not "absolutely do everything everyday in order to max this out during this month"
Spend what you have, do it again next month, wait until stuff rotates, etc

Lol, ugh... That's one thing I'm not super into, is having to spam the same mythic + dungeon all week for the right piece and upgrade.
I'll probably do what I did in the past: do the highest m+ I can stand for vault loot at the end of the week and do the raid on one difficulty.
Up to 89/100 JC so far. Even have three rare equipment for +22 more skill. I can almost guarantee r3 rare gem cuts and soon epic cuts.

All the raiding just dropped yesterday, so some folks crafting are taking advantage of that by raising prices to ridiculous levels, because they know some raiders (and raider wanna-bes) are going to pay whatever it takes to get that last 1% edge on their DPS.

I'm nervous about trying the new raid as a preservation evoker though, considering I use mid-range spells. Probably will be a nightmare to dance around everywhere trying to get in range of a dying player.

There's a few abilities/talents that improve your mobility & give you more uses out of movement abilities. That might help.

That's true. The primal invasions in the open world offer basically the same ilvl but you can save up the rare coins you get from them to turn them into 385 pieces.
But those will have less and less players doing them as time goes on, so heroics will probably stay one of the ways to get some gear quickly still.

And you can step into M+. There'll always be lower level keys, and you can go as high as you feel comfortable with. The crazies will go for +20 but there'll still be folk looking for lower level ones, if only for alts and so on

That's awesome. To be completely fair though, you do use guns as a part of your rotation, even though you don't have a gun equipped which I always found strange. They need to bring back the ranged weapon slot and require outlaw rogues to have one equipped to fulfill the fantasy of playing one. Or have some special transmog slot for special cases like that and be able to see the gun animation as the weapon you have it transmogged as.
Looks like some of the top guilds are already on the last boss for mythic

I think the problem is that right now the only Ranged weapons are Bows, Crossbows, and Rifles. None of which fit the Outlaw class, and Rifles would grant way too many bonuses if you also have two melee weapons equipped.

Additionally, a Tauren rogue found their way into the Rogue class hall.

Transmuting 1 fire and 1 frost into 2 earth is netting me 5200 profit per day for just clicking a button on each character. I imagine the price will be volatile, which is why I'm planning on saving them if the price drops by half until the next patch where they'll likely skyrocket in price again.

The Winter Veil event should be starting in about 30m. I'll see if the dailies for the mount from the garrison show up on level 60 alts or not. You still need a level 3 garrison but you can buy huge ogre caches from the AH to quickly do that if you have some funds, you only need 2. They're about 12k each rn on my realm but if you have lets say... 10 alts and spend 240k; you'll get that back from selling one mount and you should, on average, get 5 by the end of the event if you do them every day.

If you have the green multicraft weapon to have a 8-10% chance at getting extras, I've been able to proc up to 5 earth from one so far, which was an extra 2400g profit just from one character. Going around and getting the treasures to get KP and becoming a transmute master means you can almost do the CD twice daily. Which right now, as it stand, is going to net me 40k a day if the price remains at 700-800g for each.

Oh, I've boiled them down to a science. I'm able to complete each alt in 4 minutes for those dailies
- tag boss/mobs 2) throw bombs at the stack of 3 in the middle and 2 near the front 3) open the two cages next to each other in the front 4) garrison hearth when last mob is about to die 5) done
oh and leatrix + for auto accept/turn in
bonus points if you make a macro to buy the item to open from the vendor

masque: it's simple enough. Have a rank 3 garrison from WOD, then there's an NPC that gives dailies in the garrison (next to a christmas tree). Dailies give a currency, 5 of that currency (you get 6 per day) lets you buy a 'savage gift', which can contain the mount

I do like the variation of quests relating to dragonflight. The races, advanced races... reverse races coming out in the .5 patch. Then there's the two quests where you go through circles to plant flags or steal resources, and the quest in azure span where you're basically flying around eating bugs and avoiding arcane trap orbs

I have to agree with some about how the bomb rush mentality of M+ is... eh. I wish they'd rework it so the timer wasn't as big of a deal unless you're going for a seasonal rating for extra rewards. Like, guarantee 2-3 pieces of loot even if you don't finish on time, being able to keep the key at the same level. But if you don't finish on time, you don't get a seasonal rating which contributes to those extra cosmetic rewards.
That would have two different groups of people: those who just want gear and want to chill and those who are looking to push because they want all the shiny things.

My favorite rare to hunt was Poseidon or was it Poseidus... from the water place. I remember setting up the rare finder while I was asleep and waking up to the blaring sound it made when it spawned.

Some of the auction house mods automatically undercut by a set percent by default. Which at prices like this, can be a severe loss of gold.

What's interesting about that is if they were using, say, TSM they'd have to 1) change settings manually because the default one wouldn't drop the price that dramatically 2) have no idea what they're doing and are just looking at keywords and making adjustments that just sound good 3) ??? 4) no profit
Also, they'd have to be very new to not be careful when handling goods like that anyway.

If you're not a dracthyr, the third option is something along the lines of "Sometimes" for classes with effects that give you wings, and "If I can get them, I will" or similar for other classes.

On a completely unrelated note: I was contemplating a Tauren Outlaw Rogue for fun, and just realized one of their racials is:
Brawn: Critical strike bonus damage and healing increased by 2%.
Which means they're actually a really good option for Rogue.

I've seen multi proc up to 7 on one character for one transmute
The CD is random, but can be as low as 12 hours for 1 charge. So I can wait another 5ish days to transmute another 10 for one character

I'd say up to 6 would be doable for you too, masque. It doesn't feel too too different with the base M+ affix (tyrannical/fortified) and the first affix
Once you start getting to two it's a lot bigger headache and then 3 is an even bigger pain since that's the seasonal one

The Centaur quests are a touch slow at first. Apparently you can skip the walking bits if you really want to, and just zoom ahead to the next part of the questline.
