Enemies are so scarce on this game though unfortunately, you barely get any rooms where you can really take on waves and waves of enemies like in later games, and whenever you do it's mostly puppets which are the weakest enemies and die pretty quickly, I wonder if it's a leftover from this game being a Resident Evil early on so enemies were mostly treated as obstacles in the way of progress rather than the main event like in later games where they'd spawn a good number of demons per room
luckily you can backtrack pretty much as far as you wanna go in this game and enemies do respawn, the game rewards finishing missions quickly but I just want to see what crazy things you can do with quick switch and get to fight as many enemies as possible (also I need those rorbs)

in the original, you had to go through multiple screens of enemies between the dungeon and the town
and then GO BACK almost immediately to confront the final boss

THEY ADDED A PIPE STRAIGHT TO THE TOWN
So you skip both the trip back to the town and the return trip to the dungeon
HOW IS THIS REMAKE SO GOOD

Problem with fire emblem is that it’s basically definitively not multiplayerable. There’s new games but no way to play co-op at all that I know of, outside of the unusual hack/slash Warriors games
Worst thing is I can easily think of a premise for a co-op fire emblem: do what radiant dawn did with split parties, but have dynamic results based on if your friends win/retreat from certain battles. Their choices will also affect your final combined army composition, and you could borrow from advance wars’ 4 color system to have 3 players and 1 enemy - or go even further and have six colors for 3 on 3!

all 3 contain some melee combat and some boss fights, to varying extents

Grim Fandango definitely deserves the glowing reputation that it has, especially for the setting and style; the only significant problem is the occasional unfair puzzle, but all 90's point-and-clicks had those and even today it's rare that such a game fully avoids them

I wonder if this takes place long before our present day Earth. Like, ancient advanced humans and all that, and then after these "Dark Ages" they got nuked back to the Stone Age (literally) and became our Earth. The only one remaining who remembered was the Slayer (and possibly some of the higher-ranking demons).
Because it seems like some of the demons are actually working with the humans, rather than just trying to kill/eat them.

so lore time, this game seems to take place in between Classic Doom (1, 2, 64) and the Modern Doom (2016, Eternal) during Doomguy's time with the Night Sentinels on Sentinel Prime. basically a super advanced race focused on warfare. When I booted up Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous on my new computer, I was able to find my old saves. However, my character portrait was missing, and I realized that I had forgotten to copy over all the custom portraits I had on my laptop. I thought I would've had to restart my save from the beginning again in order to get the portrait back, but luckily Owlcat is smart with their save data and, once I was able to copy-paste the custom portraits back into the game files, the game detected the one I was using previously and automatically switched back to it.

This comes from the official website for the game, which states that both THPS3 and THPS4 will offer "streamlined goals in a two minute format", suggesting a truncation of Career Mode to fit the format of the other THPS games. THPS3 will not be affected by this, but it means THPS4 is not really THPS4 at all, but a new, likely worse game, that uses a better looking version of THPS4's maps.
The website says "Authentically remade in jaw dropping 4K† resolution with streamlined goals and the epic 2-minute format."
So they either don't have a career mode, career mode is restricted to two minutes at a time, the website is wrong, or they don't think career mode is part of the format.
