well I'm not Ixrec but I tuned in to see some of the game and me personally I was really digging the cool mix of a noir art deco style with the whole day of the dead mexican aesthetics
the voice performances and the animation work is really good too, lots of charm to every character and good attention to detail on the animations, it's the kind of thing that makes a game like this way more memorable at least for me, I mentioned really digging the diegetic inventory and the character actually holding the item they want to interact with, I think it's a neat detail
apparently for the remastered version on consoles it actually plays like a survival horror game with the tank controls and all instead of a cursor which is interesting

Pretty much what Nire said. I’m also happy with the puzzles so far (aside from those click target issues, but that’s a very hard problem to avoid so I was expecting stuff like it). Solid mix of just hard enough you have to think, but enough feedback you can tell when the game thinks you’re close, and fitting into the narrative.

I've hacked together a Dolphin preset to play Star Fox Adventures with keyboard/mouse (using Amethyst Edition's dual stick camera mapped to mouse movement), it worked pretty alright
aiming the staff was really difficult though (even though I disabled aim snapback), because the sensitivity I had to use was really high for camera movement outside aiming
there is even a debug "Orbit" camera that is basically perfect for KB/M, but it doesn't work when aiming

When I was going through MGS3 a little while ago I was also using keyboard and mouse, trying to play a PS2 game like that with just keyboard and without a controller is basically impossible to play comfortably, so I mapped the right analog to my mouse and the square and r1 buttons to my mouse buttons, took me a while to apply the settings but it ended up working fine enough to play without much issue
I did have the same problem of aiming being way slower than the camera aiming though, I'm guessing that was always a thing in these games, probably for more precision when aiming, but you never quite felt it when playing with an actual controller so using a mouse just makes the difference in sensitivity that much more obvious, although I don't know how much better emulation can get about that, I wonder if it's more something a decompilation/port can figure out

It's actually even worse than an unsubstantiated claim.
Apparently Mitchell multiple times contacted him to let him know that it wasn't true, and so did other people that knew both, and provided solid reasons as to why that was the case, so he can't even say it was a good faith mistake.
Truth is, if Jobst made a public retraction of specifically those claims on his channel, in a way that was comprehensive and visible to his audience, the lawsuit probably wouldn't even have happened
Of course while keeping up all the claims about cheating and stuff, since those are much better substantiated, the Judge explicitly didn't find any fault in these claims.

The good thing about good journalist is that they are trained to hold themselves accountable, largely because lawsuits are a thing that can happen if they don't as we just saw

the backwards compatibility was not easy to add and some third party switch games will definitely have issues at launch

that's how Super Mario Galaxy runs on the Switch: the CPU code is native, the GPU is emulated
Switch 2 is presumably the same architecture as Switch 1, so no recompilation is needed, but I assume the GPU side is still emulated

The one incompatible game is the Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04 VR Kit, which requires you to put the Switch into a cardboard VR headset; since the Switch 2 is a lot bigger than the original Switch, it won't work.
Other games, including most of the other Labo stuff, will require the use of original Switch Joy-Cons rather than the updated Switch 2 versions. These games are generally ones that were built specifically around the Joy-Cons, including Ring Fit Adventure, 1-2-Switch, and WarioWare: Move It!
