this was a highlight for sure though, for some reason in the remaster version there's this giant black box stuck to this model fortunately it's the only 'bug' I encountered (asides from random seams in the map geometry)

I was having trouble because the pillar only slides in one direction and Raziel has to actually turn around to move in a direction, so if you want to make slight adjustements to your position you have to rotate all the way around before you actually move in that direction
I think it may have went a bit more in the remake direction but definitely could've used some tweaks and improvements to gameplay and controls to be perfect, the camera for sure gave me a headache more than once... in some areas it gets claustrophobically close to the character
trying to find some good non spoilery shots, not terribly HD but it'll do
I guess SR2 didn't exactly need all the pretty new makeup as much as SR1 but it still would've been nice to see a little more... it's really mostly ''better'' textures and better models too but only for the characters, most of the enviroments and other things like statues for example are pretty much unchanged
There's this one dungeon that uses light a lot for the puzzles and it would've been neat to see some real time lighting used like in the Tomb Raider remasters, or any amount of new lighting for that matter, the only amount of new lighting done at all I noticed is the reaver radiates light in the remaster version, although for whatever strange reason if you swap to the original mode it disappears and if you switch back to the remastered version it stays gone until you reactivate the reaver don't know if it's a bug too
Not bad though, again 2 probably didn't need most of the graphical overhauls as much as 1 but still would've been nice to see some more, 1 is probably the more impressive overhaul in comparison, I just feel like more could've been done, but what do I know maybe the engines are just too old and finnicky and the games would've benefitted more from a straight up remake instead

it reminds me how I played Star Fox Zero recently... people complained about the controls a lot in that game, but it's essentially gyro aiming! Which makes the game a lot easier to control if you have any habit of using gyro aiming in other shooting games

Kerry's quest finale is still probably one of the highlights and one of the most powerful moments in my playthrough I think
I also probably remember it more because his quests were some of the last ones I did as I was cleaning everything up before finishing (which I still haven't done)
I'm worried i might not have gotten everything since I did still get random calls for quests and gigs even though I completed everything in the map
All those 100+ hours kind of blend together after a while with some moments that stand out and some that I remember better if I read up really quick what some quests were about

I would say play it now if you're waiting for the 'definitive' update just because the game is already at its definitive state and anything else they update seems like extra neat stuff, even the metro system that got added recently was more of a cool novelty extra thing and less of a game changer, it's a little strange how they seem to keep updating this game sparsely despite saying multiple times before that they wouldn't and that it'd be the very last update
but yes, in broad terms, the game is already there, I played it after the big update that completely overhauled entire systems and the way the game worked completely, and everything that came afterwards seems to just be small touch ups here and there, cool things like how now you can do tricks on your bike and I think use melee guns and stuff, but nothing that would completely change the experience
I'd say if you can get it bundled with or already have it bundled with PL then play it now definitely
