11 years ago rockstar stopped making games and started making microtransactions
I just hope they aren’t as bad in 6 like if they start a pass system which RDR2 had
this is rockstar
the folks who have litteral "shark cards"
they'll do everything they can cram in
Next game is in development https://x.com/eurogamer/status/1841117153958756560?
I can't even be mad about that joke
SO LONG GAY BOWSER
"your strat is fucking mid"
In USA you get ad for example McDonald's, in Europe you get ad but of a game

New King Kong game. https://fixupx.com/ign/status/1841148706621395002?
Check out new gameplay for Kong: Survivor Instinct, the 2.5D action-adventure game releasing on October 22 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Can't be worse than kong island
Oo, Sifu is coming to gamepass tomorrow I've heard it's cool
That aint profit lmfao
i like gambling...
you know what? thats completely fair
Instead, they crashed and bricked PS4s. /s
I mean in no case when a game launches broken the fault is of the development team
Development takes the time it takes, it's up to the adminstrative team to delay the game until it's ready

The fault was never of the engine lead or whoever else, the fault was and is of the guys that decided to put out a broken unfinished game, and lie about it in the process
Even if they fixed it later, never forget it, they lied to you
And the will lie again later if it makes them a bunch of money
MY BROTHER IN CHRIST, THE STORE IS C L O S E D
my brother in Celestia, your store appears to lack a door
my brother in Celestia, your store lacks a closeable door
early access, i guess, lmao
The C suite is the root of all evil
I wonder if they're worried these emulation projects would provide a jump start on piracy for the Switch successor
Yeah I'm in the middle of a playthrough here myself
I better not hit that update button
I still have my Citra too
oh jeez i wonder why people have trust issues with nintendo
is it anything to do with their garbage attempts at preservation?
I could understand anything to do with whichever current console Nintendo is supporting, although every single emulation project will always encourage and only provide instructions and help for people to dump their own purchased copies of a game into the emulator, but doing this kind of stuff for anything that's from a console you're no longer supporting and even shut down the shop for just feels like it's for nothing
There's really nothing they gain from doing it
yeah it's almost like they're delibrately trying to be invasive of preservation just so they can resell that contant later or something
If they did do that then it wouldn't nearly be much of an issue lol but they don't really resell a majority of that content, which is the problem, and if/when they do, it's significantly downgraded or pretty much equal in terms of quality to the original release, especially for any of their emulated games which I've always heard have pretty outdated performance
Exaaaactly
in general, yes, but let's not forget that Yuzu heavily encouraged TotK piracy and monetized TotK-specific updates, which is why they got smacked down as hard as they did
Yeah but that was a huuuge mess up on their part there, especially with how anticipated TOTK was at the time
Any other emulation project especially any old school ones still active will be very careful about that stuff, they know emulators are probably being used for piracy, but none of them condone it or offer any support for it at all, any emulators that require certain stuff like system bios and all that jazz won't ever directly give them to you other than tell you how you can extract that type of information from your legit purchased console
To my knowledge Ryujinx wasn't doing any of that type of stuff Yuzu was doing so I wonder if Nintendo is doing this just for the sake of doing it even if they weren't doing anything wrong
or if they're just that worried about Switch and Switch 2 games getting pirated for Ryujinx even if the Ryujinx project isn't doing any of the incriminating things Yuzu did
If that was the case then I wonder if that just further reinforces the idea that ''Switch 2'' is just gonna be Switch but slightly more powerful, to the point that emulating it would be pretty much identical to current Switch, I would assume that the opposite would happen and with the release of Switch 2 Nintendo would've been just a little bit more uncaring towards Switch emulation
exactly
havent played pseudoregalia in a couple weeks, hoping i can pick it back up where i left off cuz exactly that made me restart a ori and the will of the wisps playthrough before
In a way, I'm glad because Switch is a pretty solid console I think and its only biggest flaw was the lack of power, on the other hand I'm a bit bummed that Nintendo isn't doing a weird new experimental and innovative new thing for the new generation like how they did two screens with the DS systems, even though I never was a super big fan of that (the 3DS I think did it better by keeping the second screen usage in a much more minimalist way compared to the DS, but at that point it makes you wonder why even have it there to begin with)
also another thing im curious of about the game, theres some more open ended areas in the game and im a dumbass, will anything go real bad if i happen to get somewhere im not supposed to just with platforming bullshittery?
Let's just hope Nintendo knows how to name this new system and doesn't do a stupid thing like ''SwitchU'' or ''New Nintendo Switch''
nope, and it's completely normal for half of someone's first Pseudoregalia playthrough to be sequence breaking without realizing it, or thinking you're sequence breaking when you're not
(I hope the Pseudoregalia randomizer gets finished someday, even in its current state it's a blast)
was worried about that since with metroidvanias/open ended games i tend to get stuck where im not supposed to a lot
Super Nintendo Switch
one of the reasons a lot of these games have a checkpoint system is so no matter how weirdly stuck you get there's a known working point to reset you to without loss of progress
I was tempted to replay Pseudoregalia again after the map update but I haven't gotten around to it
I mostly did but it's not a big change tbf, I probably won't do another full playthrough until I hear more from the rando
too many games to play dang it
Yeah... I've been pretty busy and haven't been able to even play games I regularly play like SF6
and i've been pretty slow with my work so I gotta catch up which means even less time to play
I still haven't even installed Tunic or Casette Beasts!
I did make time for Zelda though, because you can always make time for Zelda
are there any progress indicators to show that i am going somewhere not just wandering around? or are you intended to just fuck aroudn and hope you find out
mostly the latter
it'll be obvious every time you find an important item, and when you find where the endgame barrier is
i did notice eventually getting to some important ability n stuff like that, but never sure if thats what i was supposed to get
I mean... you're "supposed" to get all of them I think?
as long as you're still finding new places to go then you're fine
Treat the game more like a sandbox than some sort of linear super polished game, the game is pretty bare bones from what I remember since it was basically a game jam submission turned into a full game if I remember correctly so go into it with that in mind, so basically no there are no definitive way to know you're progressing other than you getting a key item and opening a room you previously weren't able to go into, that's basically how you know you're progressing
the metroidvania/zelda mindset, yeah
i thinik i just managed to back track by accident
i did not think i could make this jump
it does depend on what you have
Should be called Nintendo Switch 2: The Switchening
need to figure out how to get the stomp, thats my main issue rn
feel free to ask for clues whenever, given the structure it's pretty easy to just state an area name and no details
yeah would appreciate that for the stomp, since i have wondered around quite a bunch since my first situation where i needed it
the stomp ability is in ||Sansa Keep, not Castle, if you haven't seen that name yet then it's "the upper area"||
hmm i can get to there from my current area, need to find a path to it though
thanks
welp i went to the complete opposite direction, but atleast i know now where i am in the area since its absolutely huge
this path leaves to a place i havent been to before though so might try exploring that
this lil shit just killed me
oh no exploration is happening
this looks suspicious on a suspiciously placed platform but i cant seem to interact with it in any way
noooo i just went back to an area i've been to before and i dont have the ability to take the same route back
should ahve just went to search for the stomp instead
actually killing myself might solve this problem, think i hit a save point back there
it was indeed the solution
I
I forgot what I was holding
you could just quiit without saving to negate that day entirely
you did it early so it will be fine
Just restart the day, especially since it was only 30 minutes.

fwiw, if you're worried about getting "stuck" in one-way parts of the map, The Underbelly is definitely the area best saved for last
Oh noo
It should have a different button or something now I think
well thats where i stumbled to by accident and now im here
....im not going the right way am i
atleast i got an additional airkick i guess
it's a metroidvania, if you're going anywhere at all, it's a right way
got damage increase as well
can i view the map of other areas where im crrently not?
yeaah a proper map would be appreciated for this kinda game, especially when its that big with so many paths
rabi ribi having one was a life saver
RR's world is much bigger than this one's tbf, especially after you get the speedier abilities and learn the area connections
huh? i just got some fucked up wall jump that sent me pretty damn high but not sure how to replicate it,what i was trying to do was spam space to chain walljumps instead
true, but this one is a bit more tedious to traverse
(veeeeeery hard disagree but that's another topic
)
no fast travel
it's possible you accidentally did a "reverse wallkick" by kicking away from a wall before hitting it, I sorta accidentally discovered those in my vanilla playthrough
lmao walljump chains are actually so bullshit i managed to get up here somehow, felt impossible to otherwise
oh yeah, there's so many ways to get up the bailey towers depending on what you have
Sibble
actually might be able to get up the big boy tower now that i ahve more walljumps
I believe the randomizer calls it the "cheese bell" tower
now I can't call it anything else
oh yeah was curious what species is the main character? looks kinda like a deer bunny goat thing idk
unclear
only one thing guranteed is that the species begins with cute
there's one line of dialogue that refers to her as a "goat-bunny-cat lady" but it's not exactly an in-universe authority on the subject so
She is indeed a goat bunny cat lady
feels like i can get up the tower, but i need to start the walljumps from the tower itself and time them right to not lose height
probably just barely
iirc you have slide jump and 4 wall kicks... yeah I'm not sure I could do cheese bell with that
indeed did
but I'm not surprised you can
im kinda surprised i was if anything,a lot of times when something feels barely doable its not
now the issue is i hit the lever and i dont know what it did
nor did i notice what orb i picked up
most of the levers move a metal grate, you should be able to see a bit of it even after it's retracted
though I think there's 3? in that area
shit theres no wiki or anything i cant check what i picked up
I forget what that orb is in vanilla, pretty sure it's one of the minor upgrades you don't strictly need, Clear Mind maybe?
im guessing it was this
that tracks
airkicks are so versatile is insane, dont wanna go around the normal way? just fucking go spiderman mode on a wall
the air kick tutorial bit is where my opinion of the game jumped from "neat" to "whoa"
not sure where that is
right after you get them and they give you those little ledges and hallways to traverse by bouncing off walls, and you're meant to figure out that the angle of impact matters
nah this is actually insane, climbing this with just airkicks
one of the best movement abilities ive seen in any game
oh yeah doing that without [spoiler] is great fun
I think last time I rando'd I ended up doing this with almost kicks only
im not supposed to be doing this?
see what I mean? lol
I don't remember it well enough to be sure if you can get to the end with your current gear, but keep going, "intended" routes are just suggestions
if i dont waste health might be doable
augh i died have to do it again or go different place
What is this game called and on what platform?
Pseudoregalia, it's on Steam
It looks like Nintendo 64
yeah, it's one of those indies with an intentionally retro style
I think that's cool
I think it also helps with how freeform the platforming can be, a lot of modern high-detail styles tend to make it unclear exactly what is a platform
tight bt might actually be doable
ofc at this point I'm just waiting for noelle to accidentally discover ||ultrahops|| and break the whole map

ftr I can't do those (consistently)
but it just feels like you're the type who'd randomly do one and go "is this intended?"
i can execute them consistently already but thats only cuz of how reliant i was on turn hops
lol
did this section barely, cant say it felt intended but its done now
yeah, you're meant to do this with an ability that involves those floating black orbs
oh i have that, still felt tight even with it
aaah that's right it also expects [spoiler], having a 4th kick really helps make up for that
opened the big gate in sansa keep finally
theres one room left to explore in it and im missing a key for it
its a shame theres so little documentation on the game
iirc that bit of keep isn't a priority for key spending anyway, I think it's just a shortcut back down to castle?
not sure where else can i find the stomp though
actually never mind i might

hm ||mid air back hops|| is an interesting movement tech
that's one of the things I'm worst at
I'd probably play the rando on logic_level: hard if I was better at those
are they useful at all?
depending what items you get in what order, there are a lot of cases where that can be the make-or-break tech for a horizontal jump
you absolutely do not need it to beat the game normally though
for the average vanilla player "sunsetter = hi jump" is fine
with how much movement shit i have already,im not too worried about beating the game even if i miss something unless its a hardstop like breakable floors
indeed, if you're good enough at ultras you could likely do the speedrun route to the endgame barrier right now
luckily just so happen to be nearby enough to try it
or unluckily cuz om probably gonna spend ages trying to do it and failing for no reason
or failing because the start and end platforms of some of these speedrun ultras are smaller than Sybil's feet iirc
more of meant doing it for no reason, the reason i'd be failing i already know, its cuz i suck ass still
but you're a Real Gamer ™️, you probably did it before I finished typing that
oooh just got this
[spoiler] achieved
got the key as well
I DID IT
Nice job pardner
"Wow, incredible!"
what is this blue jump? i only sometimes get it,i think its for perfect slide jump timing but im not sure
managed to do 6 of those in a row
That must be new because I never encountered that while playing
At a glance it seems like a boosted jump if you time the jump perfectly after landing
the blue one is new to me too
I wonder if that's related to how slide ultras were supposed to be nerfed in the last big update (along with adding the map and time trials and stuff)
got bored of trying to do it again and get back so im just gonna get the ability i need to do it properly
i think i roughly know where to expect it to be but not 100% sure
super slide jumps make it so much easier to move around in general
My Godot plushie arrived
cc: @visual hill
||the boss fight was so underwhelming, but the game is finally done ig,was good, main part i loved for sure was movement and how abusable it is||
5-ish hours playtime to do it,technically 8 but thats including me idling in the game while not even being home for a couple hours
Does the game even have replay value
kinda sorta maybe depends
i dont think it has much after the game is complete, but theres some time trial challenges n shit you can complete if you wanna
the most fun thing to do after though is probs speedrunning
or in my case, randomizing it
what does randomization change?
where all the abilities and upgrades are
so e.g. you might be forced to go without slide for most of the game, or you might find cling gem super early, and so on
I particularly like the option to make each of the 4 wall kicks a separate item
Maaaybe ill try it out at some point it does sound interesting, but theres so much other stuff to do like keeping up with comp games and 100%ing enter/exit the gungeon that idk when i would get to it
indeed, it’s been a while since I played it myself, mostly due to competition from other games (and, ironically, making my own randomizer)
@bold sonnet are you enjoying Hogwarts Legacy
been a bit but speedrunning was a blast when i first played
lotsa silly schmovement tech
This is small funny clip but I can't believe how much there is to discover and unlock, and fights are more than I ever dreamed of or could think of. Spells crackling and shining, wand sparking if you are trying to cast one that's on cool down. Elegant, thoughtful and stylish. It's also very accommodating, with option to not showing s*iders, very progressive about gender, and the castle itself is unbelievable depiction of real one. I can't talk well about games, but it's just fascinating and I can't believe how much more is there to discover 💝 And waypoint trail if you chose to invoke is the prettiest I've ever seen

interesting
It seems like a reasonable regulation. The age rating is self-reported, rather than being a significant extra cost for small games
Steven Spielberg is a PC gamer and loves playing ‘CALL OF DUTY’, according to his son.
“He’s like, ‘What are the new shooters?’, Which Call of Duty should I be playing?’”
(Source: https://t.co/KPkap7YAne)
Imagine being fucking quick scoped by Steven Spielberg LMAO
What are the new shooters
quick, everyone tell him it's Medal of Honor Above and Beyond
"Welcome to The Gamblecore Card Store, where our motto is
I would wish you good luck, but I need your money!~"
Hc what are you doing with this shop I swear
Call of duty film by Spielberg when?
Hexia never stood a chance. I packed a dispel potion to turn off the one mechanic the final boss had
Dispel potion is a tier one item, meaning you usually find it the first time you get items
Wow good job germany. Now your citizens will be gatekept from tons of games that never needed a rating prior
full circle lol, saving private ryan -> medal of honor -> call of duty -> cod film
If what Flitter said is correct, namely that the devs just have to self report an age rating, it's probably fine
The only devs that won't do it are the ones who no longer interact with Steam, or ones who don't think it's worth their time to fill the questionnaire
As day breaks in Baldur’s Gate, the party encounters some…unexpected modifications to their journey.

@green fulcrum
is there a way to turn off the steam achievement progress notifications
I guess you could disable the Steam Overlay for the game while you play it?
that way it wouldn't show up as you play, but idk if there's a way to stop achivements specifically
This was posted several days ago
But yeah, it's hype
Also, that Sunset Heights remix goes hard
Especially that key change for the opening
Yes!
It's weird how Sonic 06 is somehow being remembered fondly nearly 20 years (Jesus f*cking Christ...) after its release.
Oh it was? Have you seen the shorts they have been doing?
i was 6/7 when i played it so i remember the story more than sonic adventure (which i think is my earliest sonic game)
Go to settings, notifications, and turn off toasts while in game (or completely)
You can turn off only sound if you want
Yeah, I have
It was good
God, look at all that junk

Both are asset flips, but at least have some gameplay people enjoy and lasted longer than Concorde and the Day After. /s
yeah i'm looking through steam and oh look, 2 more flips with the same fricken assets
At least the card one drops food for LGS stuff.
I laughed at the automated deodorant sprayer.
I decided to play Overwatch for the first time in a while and i was looking at skins and oh my god
I wanted to too but I was told it's bad now or something
Tbh as long as you have fun in a game it doesn't matter if other people think its bad
Speaking of games, D4 expansion next week! D4's currently in a pretty dang good state, they've taken player feedback to heard every season and been pretty quick about fixes/changes
depends what you want from the game
if you're just gonna play casual queue its whatever,fine-ish but matchmaking is insanely broken and you wont have many equal skill level matches
if you wanna play ranked or imrpove at the game then its fucked completely you either go by the meta and/or counterpicks or you die
I'm not a furry, but…
I actually like playing Overwatch 2 casually (no ranked), I just don't buy in-game cosmetics anyway
I don't play it often due to lack of time though. I mainly played Zarya, Diva, Cassidy, Ana, Lucio and a bit of Mercy
holy fucking shit modded lethal is something else
forgot i had a mod installed that allows masked to spawn more often, and one somehow appeared with solar's accessories when hes not in the lobby in a solo run
scared the shit out of me
yeah modded lethal is great
if you dont get a million item desyncs in co op then yeah
this is one of the scariest solo moments i've had, this mod replicates actual player behaviour and looks so well that its uncanny,i didnt even bother bringing the rest of the loot from main, just left
Late game upgrades be like one of the most broken things overall. It can snowball to the amount that you make like 100k in 3 days later on
That and lethal progression
Had to stop multiple runs with Noelle just cuz the chance of us both dying and losing it all were miniscule and reaching a time where a quota we wouldn't be able to afford would have been with weeks of playing and with no challenge it quickly got boring
snorts the cardboard crack

I know
But we don't accept watermarks as sources
Ah, fair
?
Ah
Thanks
(Watermarks should be proof enough but I'm not gonna argue, at least not here...)
Some are, others are just unreadable. Rather than nitpick on which ones are or are not, we just have a flat ban on them as sources
I can understand why watermarks likely aren't enough, but it really depends on how the artist handles said watermark
Sometimes it's as broad as daylight: sometimes it's so unnoticeable, that people literally think it just, doesn't have one.
Most the time it's somewhere in the middle
Given that the bare minimum we expect from folks is that you just mention the artists name, I don't think we're being that unreasonable
I feel that habit is just carried over from other servers
Annoying, sure, but if you drew something, I'm sure you'd love your art being shared without any kind of source or credit

Ah man. Apparently, there were plans made for Starcraft/Warcraft/Overwatch series with Netflix. But Netflix poached ActiBlizz's CFO, ActiBlizz then sued and of course the projects got cancelled
It feels funny that people started playing Pseudoregalia in late 2023 and in 2024 because when I played it none of these things were there
So everyone posts about the outfits and I'm like ''there's more than just the pants?''

collected a bunch still used default
I thought the sweater was there when I played it?
Definitely wasn't there when I played it and I think we played at around the same ish time, you finished before me I think
I watched OneyPlays play it, does that count?
lol I still have to watch that lp
Interesting. Among the list of Blizzard's cancelled projects, there was one that was basically a (newer) God of War type game but in the warcraft universe - likely with Thrall as the main character
"Windblown has a few similarities to its side-scrolling older sibling, like the multi-item loadouts and speedy combat, but it's less rogue-vania and more like a multiplayer Hades someone left on fast-forward.
That is, if instead of the prince of the underworld, Zagreus was an axolotl with pants."

Ah I’m guessing some can’t see it due to their location?
Bloomberg generally is a paid service, so unless you sub, hand out "gift" articles or know a way around it, folks can't read it.
Given that they cited Bloomberg, but didn't link, I felt that folks might want to see it for themselves.
Ah.
so i found this game on EGS (i know, i know, evil) called Bear and Breakfast and
i love it and you should play it

Halo Infinite is adding a 3rd person mode later this year
this just in: https://vini1264.itch.io/mdk-high-quality-soundtrack-mod
people have made new discoveries on MDK's executable recently, which enabled the ability to use extended buffers and fix the GOG release's file handling (it was installed in minimal mode, causing constant unnecessary file copies that slowed down loading a lot). Now you can play with the high-quality PS1 soundtrack in the PC version
PS1 soundtrack better than PC?
Yeah
For videogames that old, PC games used to come with soundtrack in the MIDI format
Just awful
The PSX format sucked too but it was a lot better.
MDK's PC soundtrack isn't MIDI, but low-quality WAV. PS1 is red book CD audio, i.e. quality is similar to what you find on music CDs
Red book CD audio is what allows you to put PS1 or early PC game CDs in a radio and they'll play the music 🙂
some PS1 games use a format known as XA which isn't as good as WAV, but still quite good for hardware that came out 30 years ago
if anything, playing PS1 games in emulation makes me realize how little game audio has evolved since. 👀

Dang. I knew the UNSC Navy was technologically inferior to the Covenant, but I didn't realize that the gap was this large.
The Brony Pipeline (2024)
A classic Let's Play recording I'm gonna archive for prosperity.
- Discovers Battle Gem Ponies somehow, downloads immediately with intent to make fun of "brony cringe" on stream.
- Plays blind, skipping all dialogs, only commenting on pictures and using context clues.
- Mocks bronies and elements similar to pokemon ("A game for degenerates." "What a cheap knockoff!" "I can't take this seriously.")
- Can't help but slip up saying some charming parts & mechanics are cool.
- Gets completely into it 15 mins in, starts actually reading, and stops the mocking tone and takes it seriously.
- 26 mins in "Why do I not hate this game?"
- Actually has fun for 2 hours and lowkey recommends the game.
It's like the 2010s MLP first discovery days all over again.

In Hogwarts Legacy the only difference in choosing dormitory (gender) is if your character while talking sometimes puts hands like this or not and I don't know what to think about it
it's like gendered running animations. Remember Tanner in GTA III?
people seem to be liking the Silent Hill 2 remake
gamesdonequick went live on Twitch. Catch up on their Dark Souls VOD now.
GDQ is running a relay race where you beat hard games with as few hits taken as possible.
Winner is the team with the fewest hits taken (time breaks ties)
I mean, it's a bit of a risk, and probably goes against the spirit, but i'd do that if I was ahead on hits
Maybe not in Dark Souls, I was just musing in general
If you were ahead on hit you would win no matter how much time you took
Lowest hits taken wins
Time is only considered if they have the same number of hits
AHh, so it's the opposite
If I was ahead on hits I'd play it safe!
Yes!
If you are behind you would also play it safe
The only time where you can't play it safe is when you're tied
My brain's a bit woozy today
iiuc playing "aggressively" would only work out if the rules were that each hit had a specific time penalty, and you thought you could save at least that much time with a riskier strat
The commentators talk about this specific topic and compare the players
It doesn't look that bad
I'll probably play it, just to see
I suspect it's one of those remakes where opinions will depend heavily on whether you played the original, so I'll be skeptical until I hear it from someone I know
Well yeah. You can't know what you're missing
I thought that was just in the shitty PS3 "remaster"?
Never play a game just to see for yourself
It's way easier to formulate an opinion that is not backed with evidence, and that opinion will be stronger if you do
this shows what i know about silent hill 2
Tbf a lot of people haven't played games that only were sold during the PS2 era
part of the reason Silent Hill fans are so salty about the remakes is that they became the only legal option for many
like how Star Wars Special Edition salt is partially because no one sells/streams the theatrical versions any more
Yeah
now I'm the kind of person who will get a PS2 emulator to play Haunting Ground and Rule of Rose just because
but you can't ask "the average gamer" to do that
I've been meaning to play those
they are fascinatingly mixed bags
Sounds like PS2 games
average gamer
there are plenty of non-mixed PS2 games too, lol, such as Silent Hill 2
do you want to come over and smoke weed and fill our bellies with diet soda and play burnout revenge for the ps2
My favorite mixed bag PS2 game is Chaos Legion
No I don't like diet soda
but not immediately after
Yeah waiting an hour is ideal
I promise to brush my teeth at some point in the future that succeeds soda consumption
ok normal soda then
I sometimes play SH2 but I often have zero idea where to go
it is supposed to be unclear at first, but the non-linear parts have a map that auto-marks all the impassable routes as you find them so eventually there's only one left to try
I really like esthetics I can't pin point why
THE BATTLETOADS BOSS IS ON THE PC VERSION OF SHOVEL KNIGHT ????
Hell yeah
SH2 has the vibe on lock
do you like battletoads kratta
battletoads scary
iirc its like the "can your os run doom" test but for cycle accurate nes emulators
Battletoads are the Luigi of TMNT
i wonder if Shovel Knight DX will have Kratos and Battletoads or not because of rights issues
I think a little that Im in a mood to try again. But to play it I need to make sure all my games are saved. On Xbox you dont have to save, you have up to like 9 games suspended like Switch or Alt + tab. But retro games are like in developer mode which erases whats suspended when you go into it
Which is bit of a hassle
Haven't played it
Are you playing the original PS2 version, or the PS3/xbox360 "HD" remaster?
Original but higher resolution. Ive heard the remasters have some problems
The remaster is the original but in higher resolution and lots of weird bugs/small changes that make it worse
There is also the new remake, which isn't out yet I believe
the reremake
Ive heard people like it, but Ive only seen trailer one time. Sometimes through fingers
like Doom's rererelease this year
It also has worse voice acting, but for SH2 it gives you an option to use the original voices. For sh3 you're stuck with worse voices
I think in mine voices are bit weird but I dont mind
The new remake seems competent, but I wouldn't recommend playing anything other than the original ps2 one if it's your first time
Oh yeah I was thinking the same. And there are many more to finish too so by the time I get to the new one I will forget moslty what happened so it's good plan
You know what you make me wanna play it. Ill go see if suspended games are ok to be closed
It's just so sad because sh2's biggest strengths are its visuals, story, sound, vibe, etc
So when you got Troy Baker and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn messing up the parts, it just hurts my soul
It just sucks that there's no way to play the original version without jumping through hoops
I happen to have the perfect clip as an example of that problem (because of course I do)
Possible spoiler
Definite spoiler lmao
I wish I could in SH2 draw my own things on the map in the game. Maybe if I really want to i can print it and draw myself
That'd be neat
Have you ever drawn or make notes on paper when playing something?
That entire scene is used in teasers and trailers so I don't know if it's definitively a spoiler
Guys when there was no internet, was game trailers on TV like an ad?
yeah i think so
I've seen trailers use those images but not that audio
and in magazines and stuff
Not in TV
But we did get videogame ads for some very big games
Usually the ads are for consoles, not specific games

classic commercial
Oh WOW
💕
they parodied it a few years ago for Sonic Mania Plus https://youtu.be/oiFgaatXuRc?feature=shared
In a world full of first-person shooter games, one game store customer has a choice to make.
Sonic Mania Plus arrives July 17th! Special thanks to Nathan Barnatt for joining us in this 90's inspired twist on a classic SEGA commercial!
Also, big thanks to Peter Srinivasan for creating the Finger GunZ gameplay you see here! Someday, we might eve...
The commercial that always comes to mind for me are all the Crash Bandicoot ones (you know the ones)
I freaking LOVE those shows I'm so excited for the new music medley before they say who wins like
Oh my god it's Dad Bot
in AAA I honestly can't remember what there was besides Zelda
Shoe ins are probably going to be ff7 rebirth and black myth wukong
Wasn't HellDivers 2 from this year?
Add astrobot too
Also Black Myth: Wukong
I actually can't wait to hear the orchestra play a song from black myth wukong, been waiting since before it released lol
Very good picks
Also do we count the Elden Ring dlc in this list?
hm, yep, I did not play a single non-indie game in 2024 that was also originally released in 2024
Oh right, I forgor Palworld
if I'm doing Steam right
sins 2 came out, as did age of mythology retold
it feels like it was a big year for games but I can't remember any so perhaps it wasn't

What game is this?
Brotato
these days "a big year for games" is just too relative to what we're into
for me it's huge because of Nine Sols (Crow Country and Animal Well didn't hurt either)
but none of the AAA stuff interests me except maybe Zelda, and this feels like the kind I might try years later when I've run out of other stuff to play
Thanks I might try it out
Silent Hill 2 remake actually looks pretty good, I'm surprised.
Do you know if rumors that it's too focused on fights when trailer released are real or not?
I wouldn't put much stock in the trailer, that's gonna be engineered to appeal to the larger crowd of people who aren't already SH2 fans
Is that a bad thing?

Not necessarily no but I've heard people would be afraid it will take different direction than normal SH2
well, yeah, that's a reasonable concern about any remake
I'm not aware of anything concrete that made it more likely than usual
All I've seen is corridor walker simulator.
You avoid a few enemies, you have some means to defend yourself.
It honestly looks exactly the same to the original, but maybe it just has a bit more combat? idk
I've never played the original so I have no idea how different it is.
my favorite horror games are the ones where you can barely defend yourself like fnaf or amnesia
it was sooooo interesting when I finally played Dark Descent for myself
I think I agree with Tale that because of the limited options and information in the Amnesia formula, it has to be heavily scripted to really work properly (even The Bunker gets kinda broken if you roll a bad seed like I did)
i should clarify that i very rarely play horror games by myself, usually i watch playthroughs or something
omg i love The Bunker
Dark Descent being mostly linear, scripted and short is part of why it worked perfectly for me right up until maybe the last bit
the bit where you find a way onto the surface is so good
Jacob Geller talked about it in a video i dont rmemeber which one
ah yeah, the endings
probably the weakest part
Is Jacob Geller Uri Geller's brother?
meanwhile Haunting Ground was a fascinating contrast because it's clearly trying to do a lot of the same things as Dark Descent, but ends up being frequently infuriating and immersion breaking because (to make a very long story short) it provides both too many options in some ways and too few in others, leading to encounters where you always do the same thing but it takes freaking forever
oh if Geller talked about Bunker I haven't seen that one yet, and should probably wait until I finish it
Regardless, I do still think scary games with combat still can work.
Just don't make it a gauntlet.
the only parts of 4 that really scared me was the regenerators and shooting the lake and the big fish jumpscareing me
trying to remember other horror games i really like
oh yeah Iron Lung is really good
im excited for the movie
Squirrel Stapler is really good too
FAITH i like a lot
I don't like the name
it is the most descriptive name for that game
for me the big ones are Silent Hill 1-3, several Resident Evils, Signalis and Crow Country
Then let's never talk about it again
the FAITHs were good, that's true
Squirrel Stapler was by the same guy who did Iron Lung
the rotoscoping freaks me out so much lmao
Oh my god I'm playing PS2 SH2 in emulator on Xbox and my controller vibrated? They had vibrations in PS2 times?
They had vibrations since PS1/X with Dualshock controller.
Oh my god
yes they did!
I thought it was made in 360/PS3 era
I think the earliest version of that was the N64 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumble_Pak
The Rumble Pak (Japanese: 振動パック, Hepburn: Shindō Pakku) is a removable device from Nintendo that provides force feedback while playing video games. Games that support the Rumble Pak cause it to vibrate in select situations, such as when firing a weapon or receiving damage, to immerse the player in the game. Versions of the Rumble Pak are availab...
You either bought one with the enhanced controllers or got the og one with the basic non-analog/non-vibrating ones.
n64 one was honestly silly
@AI_COMPLEX_ Frame by frame rotoscoping over live footage:
You had to sacrifice saving data just to have rumble.
now to be fair, in the early era of rumble pak controllers the rumbling tended to get overused, like so much new tech
so if you think of it was a 360/PS3 era thing, you've probably been exposed mostly to reasonably moderate use of it
now we have hd rumbles
Did original Xbox controller also vibrated?
The Dualsense has some damn good rumble, probably better than the joycons.
Dunno, never had the OG xbox.
my steam deck has rumblys
I do know that the 'Duke' controller variant had to be redesigned.
It was too big for many people's hands, so they made a slim variant.
pretty sure OG Xbox did yeah
by that time it would've been weird if it didn't
honestly I don't think I've ever used a non-rumbling controller, the PS2 era was my entry point
Are there vibrating mouse and keyboards?
I think so, but they are never supported.
You typically have to do custom mods or diy with some sort of scripts.
In the PC world, accessories are an afterthought. VERY RARELY something becomes supported.
PC games use controllers too
I'm not aware of any vibrating mice or keyboards, nor would I want that in a device that's supposed to lie flat on the table
rumbling works for controllers because they're in my hands the whole time
and yes I play all my games with a USB Xbox controller plugged into my laptop, PCs having controllers is super normal now
I think that's super good point and reason
if I put my controller down on the table during a cutscene I typically get rewarded with what sounds like a jackhammer being used indoors
It's like when you play a game and put controller on the table and do something else and game keeps going and suddenly rumbles you're startled to sudden loud sound
Exactly hahaha
jinx
I mean, a few months ago keyboard manufactures tried to improve the technology by introducing some sort of 'snap tap' solution.
It was novel, but then hundreds of gamers got angry because it lowered the skill ceiling & stated that it was now p2w.
But hey, whatever.
I only dare put it down if I'm on a couch/sofa/bed/etc
I just pause the game so nothing happens lol.
🎮
ah yes
you're from the era where all games are pauseable at all times
thank god the industry figured out that's a good idea
What games were you playing that didn't pause?
I couldn't give you a list now, it was just common back then
Unless its Arcade, pause was everywhere.
Yes I wonder that too
laughs in FromSoft
like how buying physical discs or having only a single language on the disc or having zero accessibility features was just common back then
oh, well that sucks
~~also people still cared about single player games back then
~~
I think you are super lucky to be from English speaking country. But I also speak English now not bad
It was interesting learning a different language while playing video games.
It certainly made it easier.
look I'm still salty about the mistranslation in FF7's tutorial
For certain consoles, having a pause option was mandatory for certification
But for PC, you could release whatever you want
Oooo that's interesting
what did it say?
it's the scorpion(?) boss during that cold open mako plant raid, they tell you to attack when its tail is up but the Japanese actually says to not attack when its tail is up
Oh yeah
OH MY GOD YOU ARE RIGHT
I played it too!! And had problems there!
Somehow, I beated it! Hahahaha!

ofc I eventually got past it but only by randomly flailing until I got lucky or figured out I was being lied to maybe
Shoestring translation budget
But I remember the music, it was giving me good chills

Yeah... this was something I didn't remembered.
Me: "I don't really play RPGs."
Also Me: "Okay can I rant about the worst RPG mistranslation of all time real quick."
I do remember having a demo disc from Playstation Underground and it had some sort of import game?
And uhhh...
I'm not sure where I'm going with this, but I remember that the game had to restart the machine.
Because it started on a specific mode?
Wrong its 0/10 game
I need to grab the demo disc and figure out what it was about.
I've heard some game, maybe Morrowind or something was like going without players knowledge to console like CPU and everything and doing stuff while loading that no other game did to perform better
Oh, Morrorwind effectively rebooted the Xbox whenever it ran out of memory while loading a new area.
But they did it in such a way that the console didn't seem to be rebooting.
Honestly I'm shocked it bloody worked.
Reminds me of how cursed programming really is in gaming.
I've been pleasantly surprised by how un-cursed the Outer Wilds code has been
Doesn't that use Unity?
yeah
Unity can be a good engine, its just most of the negativity comes from absolute beginners.
Ixrec is using static decompilation to mod it, IIRC
mm-hmm, classic beginner-friendly / wide appeal tool problem
And I say this knowing there is an Unreal Engine game that is ENTIRELY BUILT WITH BLUEPRINTS.
Electron gets a similarly undeserved rap
it is kind of annoying that FromSoft SoulsLikes don't have pause buttons
but whatever
It's called quit to menu sweetie
Maybe it's part of challenge?
(I agree it sucks)
maybe
Every time I think to myself of getting into FromSoft games... I immediately get reminded why I don't do it.
Its not my kind of game.
I want to try but i have bilion zilion games on my list
i love Dark Souls 1 so much
i haven't been able to get into Elden Ring very much though
Completing Silent Hills is on the list
im playing through elden ring with the co op mod rn
the Fromsoft problem is inescapable for me becaues they are my kind of games, and many of my all-time favorites are partially inspired by their work, it's just a few devs like Fromsoft that do a few things which utterly ruin for me what should've been amazing games
so peak...
im getting DS3 tomorrow
I am scared, a lot, yes, but when I take things slowly and I'm in my room it's okay and interesting
And if I can pause and save always on emulator
yeah, Sekiro I would try again if it somehow gained save states
the only problem with that was horrifyingly awful checkpoint placement
At least its not a game that prevents you from pausing the game.
Like, literally in your face.
"Okay, let me just s-... I can't pause... WHY CANT I PAUSE?!"

i hated the runbacks to the bosses in the moment when i was first playing but looking back i kind of appreciate them
most of the "hard" games I play have this compromise where there's a real pause button with only resume, options/settings and quit, and then a menu/map/inventory button with all of the "still playing the game" stuff that doesn't pause so you can still get attacked exactly when it's fair for the game to be punishing you for carelessness
If you don't die there are no runbacks
Just take things super slow and observe the boss from afar and learn their patterns
unsure if serious
Half serious. Obviously you can't expect to never die
But a lot of people play way too aggressively
I think most difficult game I played was where you had to think really hard and not jump or fight game was The Myst.
yeah aggressiveness isn't my issue, by most players' standards I'm on the passive/risk averse side of things, and ofc I've beaten games like Blasphemous, Hollow Knight, Fallen Order, Grime, Nine Sols, etc that have varying degrees of souls-like-ness and can also get that hard but didn't make any critical mistakes
true, though this is a completely different kind of peak difficulty
Hollow Knight is weird because i feel like i should love it and i've tried to like 10 times but every time i play it i get bored
which is fine
I enjoyed Hollow Knight until I reached one boss fight.
i like the grubs at least
it'd be nice if we understood why so that can inform future choices but sometimes it's just too hard to pin down
I forget which Boss Fight it was, but it was very hard for me to read the movement.
I guess I did "stop HK at a certain boss" but it was late into the extremely optional post-game boss rush DLC content
(I was also approaching the last quarter of the game, I think?)
Ironically enough, I beaten many of the optional ones. But one of the mainline ones was extremely tough.
i can never pin down why i like or dislike games it's very frustrating
it's also often a combination of things, so you may need to play lots of similar games to tell what the issue is
Ah, found the screenshot of the article. This is... quite the list
I disliked the fight because every death meant me having to redo all three phases. Which demoralized me and I kept trying not to give up, but after a few attempts… I went from the last phase of dying to the first phase.
(sourced from jason schrier's books and other places)
yeah, part of playing hard games is learning when taking a break would be more productive than further grinding
Which hollow knight fights have three phases
part of the reason this difficulty level works for me in metroidvanias is that there's often something else I can do in the same game instead
I forget which, but they’re like guardians?
The final boss
was it the Watcher Knights?
I had to ‘prove myself’
I think so?
prove yourself sounds more like Mantis Lords I guess
though all of this is too vague to pin down any boss
Oh yeah, Mantis Lords have three phases
I believe Flitter's right that only the final boss truly has 3 phases in the main game
Kinda
Mantis Lords have 3 of them but 2 phases, since phase 2 is two at once
Yeah
Practically the third phase is when you kill one of the two and return to phase 1
I guess
Watcher Knights are so hard that there's an official trick to make them easier
without on-screen health bars "phases" are up to the player
still, when a game does hard fights correctly, they are insanely satisfying to learn and you tend to stay good-ish at them even years after you learned them
Hell yeah
what's your guys favorite boss fight of all time
so, Nine Sols had a boss that made me think "wow, that might be the best boss fight I've had in a literal decade"
then I played the 2nd half of the game and the final boss was even better
How punishing is Nine Sols?
Darkeater Midir
when you think about it, it wasn't even that good for playing Duke Nukem
it has a Story Mode that gives you damage multiplier sliders, so if it's too hard for you that option is always there and please do use it instead of getting angry
but personally I played it on Standard Mode all the way through
and spent a literal 3 days on the final boss
loving every second of it
i like the Cyberdemon fight from Doom 2016 a lot
the monk dude from the botw DLC
You reminded me of ||Tunic’s Gauntlet||
ooh that's a good one
but soulslike metroidvanias are probably my favorite subgenre of all time, so I wouldn't expect anyone else to go into a game, find a boss that hard and go "YES"
the Ganondorf fight from TotK was really cool
I like fights that have you use a multitude of skills that you've learned over the course of the dungeon/game
yeah, part of the reason the NS bosses are so good is how they build on each other
Might get it then.
for a lot of people Nine Sols' very first boss feels like a difficulty spike, but in retrospect it's little more than a tutorial that "yes the parry button is mandatory"; on my second playthrough I beat it almost hitless without even trying
so then by the time you reach the final boss there are multiple types of parry and dodge and counter and the boss' combos mix up attacks requiring all of the above from different angles
You know, I’m unsure if I have a ‘favorite boss fight’.
(speaking of aggressive playstyles: I should have used the in-your-face super parry move way more often than I did, multiple bosses are weak to that)
anyway, my favorite Hollow Knight boss is Nightmare King Grimm
I think the litmus test here is: have you ever opened up a game long after you finished it just to replay one specific boss fight?
(I have done this for Nightmare King Grimm, for Nine Sols' final boss, and multiple Furi bosses)
NKG is fun but I prefer the Pantheon revamped Sisters of Battle fight
same
when i was 10 my favorite boss fight was Mario Galaxy's final boss
a lot of memorable boss fights for me are because of the game, not the boss fight
I mean, Quake...
yeah, "memorable" is an importantly different metric
Quake's two boss fights are basically memes at this point 😛
i like Mario 64's final boss too with Ultra Rainbow Bowser (name i just came up with)
the Mario 64 bosses are pretty decent, I think
as far as story/character impact, Nightmare King Grimm ends up ranking fairly low because he is ultimately a side character that only exists within one small DLC sidequest
Eye Rock is a cool boss
Nine Sols fares better here since its final boss is the culmination of the entire story/themes/several characters arcs
just getting to him was cool
Oh I remember now
Uumuu is the worst Hollow Knight fight
oddly enough none of the Batman Arkham games have very good bosses imo
||Dust:AET General Gaius.|| he acts like a sponge at times but if you let your guard down, you get your hp knocked the hecked up.
I liked the Freeze fight
there are a lot of combat systems that work better for bosses or better for groups of regular enemies
and imo the Arkham combat is very much the latter
ok yeah that one stands out
part of the reason the Freeze fight is so uniquely great is that, paradoxically, it's not using the combat system at all
yeah lol
Puzzle combat is my favorite form of combat
omg i just remembered new episode of The Penguin tonight
oh now there's a game I haven't thought about in a long time
(Darkeater Midir is not a puzzle fight)
Its not the best boss tbh, but it certainly was a good finale.
And I remember replaying against him a few times.
yeah, that was a good game, just not "top 5-10 best games I've ever played" good
It's in my top ten Disney games

oh yeah i liked the Shadow Blot fight in Epic Mickey
I feel like in Dust:AET even the harder fights I ended up doing quite a bit of "button mashing"
I never did play Epic Mickey
Yeah there is a bit of that…
I wished it had more of the finer mechanics that hollow knight or even tunic provides.
Rebrushed just came out i might get it
the part of "soulslikes" that fundamentally appeals to me is the idea that every button press matters, any mistake could be punished, every enemy can kill you; there's no part of the game where you can just turn off your brain and autopilot through it
and yeah, by that metric Tunic absolutely counts
is Trackmania a soulslike then
if I can call Myst the Dark Souls of point-and-click puzzlers you can call Trackmania whatever you want
But if you want another boss fight that is more souls like… ||The Heir | Tunic||
i should get back to Tunic
indeed, Tunic's bosses are some of the most soulslike-y parts
I’ve never felt such fear when seeing the second phase activate.
been in a bit of a old school zelda mood lately since Echoes of Wisdom.
at least relative to the zelda-like aspect of it all
which i should also get back to
Me playing Hades and (Hades) ||God of the Dead kicks into overdrive as papa stops holding back
||
HADES FINAL BOSS IS AWESOME
true
yes but hearing the music wind down and lull you into that false sense of security and THEN IT GETS INTENSE AS FUK
Ahh, Hades…
I guess I've never felt like just replaying Hades' final boss in isolation from the rest of the run, so it fails the letter of my litmus test earlier, though it is a roguelike so that's hardly surprising
Shoulda finished it but the damn joycon drift…
i like fighting Yorihime in Touhou New World
i think i just hate myself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70I706DH56A
Moon b**tch
Difficulty: 10/10
I have now beaten the game and I can safely say Yorihime is the hardest required boss fight (at least in Reimu's Story) and the second hardest boss in Reimu's Story.
What makes her hard? Well she's got really powerfull ranged and melee attacks while also sporting the largest health bar up to this point and the th...
also honorable mention for Jaguar Javier from Guacamelee
cant wait to play Hades 2 when it's finished
simultaniously the best and worst boss in that game
it's fucking HARD but GOD THAT THEME
i respect the fuck out of Yorihime now
I guess what's interesting about this is, if "puzzle fights" are a simple puzzle gimmick on top of some real-time combat system, then that's usually good fun (like whenever you have to find time between attacks to fiddle with devices in the boss arena to make the boss vulnerable again), but if the puzzle is the entirety of the fight, it usually makes me wish this was "an actual puzzle game" instead
I don't differentiate between these scenarios much
the puzzle fights I hate are the fights where nothing is explained so you have no idea what to do
I ran into this with the latest zelda game, to my annoyance
fair, Zelda games are definitely not targeting the "Here's a room with some stuff. Figure it out." style of hardcore puzzling that the Myst-likes cater to
Fiancée and I got that pretty much once EA got released. We've 'beaten' the bosses multiple times, very much looking foward to when they add the new content
considering how much I played Hades I'd probably love the sequel but there's just too much else to do
likely will end up waiting at least until it's "released"
Fair, we've gotten bored of the current content so yeah 🤣
Meanwhile, I'm still struggling to find something for my fiancée, so picky
what sort of game do they like?
anyway this conversation has made me want to replay a Nine Sols boss, so I'll be in quiet VC if anyone's curious
Good luck. I gotta be awake in thirteen hours for class
I played a game of CS2 yesterday, the playerbase in premier is still rather toxic even when the team is winning
(I don't play CS often anymore, I drop in from time to time)
yep, still a GOAT, "only" took me ~30 minutes of attempts to beat Jiequan again
Hades, Knockout City, Horizon Zero dawn/forbidden west, Stardew Valley, Coral Island, wukong, Monster Hunter World, AC: Odyssey has also played Civ 6
Yet when I suggest things that would be of similar genres/close, she won't like em
too old graphics, too dark (story and/or color tone), not smooth enough fighting, etc. She's incredibly picky with games
End of an era
But the Bungie era was still the best
So, after 8 hours of it, I gotta say, Silent Hill 2 remake is... actually good
It's different, though, but it's good at least
This remake is a situation where wether you enjoy the remake of SH2 or the original is less of a ''better vs worse'' and more of a ''up to your personal tastes'' because so much stuff isn't really done better or worse it's just... different
also, spoilers but || this MIGHT just be a secret sequel just like FF7R was instead of a 1:1 remake || which is insane
Like I said over at #1032836636490346576 it feels like they realized how unbeatable the original experience of og SH2 was so instead of trying to do it better they just did their own spin and their own version of it and tried to make that version the best it could be
I think a little that is very very good news for a remake
It's the best case scenario for sure
...is what I WOULD say, if they actually put out a modern port of Silent Hill 2
at the moment this is the ONLY way to play the game
You can emulate no?
That doesn't take away from the fact that they still need to do a modern port of the game
They did and failed
They did, but the HD collection was underfunded and didn't get enough time to cook, they also outsourced it to a really weird, super small team
The MGS Master Collection has been pretty good and it received fixes, they can do another Silent Hill collection now, and they should
Why did they treat game like this this way?
because they don't care
Supposedly there has been a change in leadership at Konami in recent years, so maybe now there's someone in charge who cares
Either way, there should be a push towards modern ports of the SH trilogy
Do you think with now success of SH2R they will make other?
I can't say, but since they already did a new one for MGS and they're working on more all I can say is they should
lol that's awesome
But yeah overall pleasantly surprised about this actually being... good
also of note about SH2R: Jacob Geller was a consultant

it feels so weird hearing music from games that im into, dying light and atomic heart especially stand out so much whenever i hear their OST used
Jonathan Ferguson, a weapons expert and Keeper of Firearms & Artillery at the Royal Armouries, breaks down the weaponry of F.E.A.R., including the devastating 10mm Penetrator, the ‘Mars Attacks’-like gun, the Type-7 Particle Weapon, and a cursed MP5 called the RPL, which really upset poor Jonathan.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 - Launch Trailer
What do you mean launch, it's today?
October 25th
Yes I just saw but why is it called that
Please do not use this channel as a place to spam links. It is intended for conversation.
I thought we can share screenshots and videos too here about games
Companies sometimes put out "launch trailers" a couple weeks before the game comes out to hype up the release and show off the final working version.
You can if you don't make it a habit. When someone engages with the posts you make, you should converse with them.
It’s the launch trailer to the game. That’s why I posted it
This is not twitter
Only post links if you want to talk about them
This channel is not for sharing trailers. It's for talking
So I can share a clip from my game but when it's not busy and I have to be willing to answer when someone asks questions yes?
Sure! If you made the clip that's already a lot better than sharing a news link
I was going to talk about it. There are a few that do play call of duty. But I’ll try and not send as many links
Ive heard that players say that this call of duty has to be super good or otherwise theyll be upset at whole cod franchise or something. I'm not sure, I've heard there is a big reason for this to be everything or nothing
It’s basically If the movement isn’t good or the maps are just too big people won’t play.
I've heard turn based zombies come back I think that's something people liked
Yup. People have wanted round based zombies back for years. Treyach always listen to feedback
There are people who say this for every game
Consider who says something, not only what they say
and if you don't know the specific person who said it, it could easily be different people saying it every time, without any single person being irrational
aggregating anonymous opinions produces a lot of weird data, not merely biased but often hallicinatory
I just listen to what my friends say because they are so smart and cool 😎
This game looks interesting

Yeah, I heard a lot of people talk about Diplomacy is Not an Option
I can't decide what to buy with my $27 on steam
enter the gungeon
Save it until the next big sale
Buy twice as many games
The next big sale is November 27th
I have it on the epic games store
Those are good games
Read Dead Redemption 2
I only have $27 not $80
save it and then get it on sale
Ive tried both but couldn't really get into them
how did it kill it
When the Past Was Around
Very beautiful everything and curious puzzles
When I launched the game I got graphical glitches like corrupted textures
Beautiful like in heart not ultra graphics that kill GPU
i mean at that point it was probably time to change, anything else or even nothing could have killed it
Soon after the computer wouldn't launch until I removed the GPU
I can't afford to change
are there no budget used options? like 1000 series gpus should be pretty affordable by now
I think ill just save it for the next big steam sale
Demo available
I don't joke it's one of most touching games I played
If you like style like that
And only game in world that I 100% when it comes to achievements
I would rather not make suboptimal purchases
Most games run fine on my integrated GPU
If I buy a new GPU I want it to run all games that I have but couldn't run
Did you play To the Moon?
1600 series could maybe do that, they tend to go cheap as well
No is it on Xbox too?
