thank skrillex for making me wanna get into this franchise for no reason
The official video for Hikaru Utada & Skrillex - Face My Fears

Song composed as the openi...
this song is just too fucking good
Don't do it
but yes it is a pretty good song
I'm still a big Simple and Clean fan
https://youtu.be/_Hl3W4HB254?si=m8gIeg66-GDEU02n
Full Version Kingdom Hearts Intro Song "Simple and Clean" by Utada Hikaru. I decided to upload it again since the original had been deleted, (I DO NOT OWN THIS. ALL RIGHTS GO THEM WHO MADE THIS SONG)
I still have Utada Hikaru's full discography on my phone's music playlist
I can't remember right now if I ever had a significantly harder time with 1 or 2 from when I first played them but I remember KH2 fixed literally every single issue I had with KH1's systems
Thats part of the reason its so much easier lmao
I would say less tedious personally
i had a harder time with kh2
but thats prolly cuz i wasnt smart about playing the game
I did find out in the remix they recolored a bunch of enemies for some reason
Would it be possible to just catchup on story through other means than the games maybe and then play kh3 or would that also be mossing out on a huge chunk of the experience
aaaaaaahhhh that's usually a whole thing when it comes to these games that everyone's probably gonna have different answers for
The thing about Kingdom Hearts is that even if you did play all the main games there's still stuff you probably would miss out on because for some reason nearly every single piece of media about this game even old games for old mobile phones (not smartphones) and an online browser game that's not accessible anymore are for some reason plot relevant
That might be the most genius milking strategy
What about at the very least only playing mainline games? 1 2 3 i assume are the inly mainline ones?
I personally want to say that KH1-Chain of Memories-KH2 are some of the absolute best KH games and just some of the best games in general especially KH2, if you really just want to play 3 and just want to watch what the others are about to catch up you can do that... but why miss out on what I think is some of the best experiences you can have with games

Oh if only
No, we don't do that here /s
Please square i just wanna play gaem dont make me suffer like that
I didnt play final fantasy for that same reason
KH2 isn't even KH2, people that played KH2 back in the day without knowing Chain of Memories was a thing were ultra confused
It's the main reason why I can't talk about KH without getting mad because of how stupid this all is and how stupid the plot gets later on, but I still loved the games I did play and I can't recommend them enough despite all this stupidity
But Final Fantasy games are all independent and you don't need to play any of them
Arent some of them connected?
And theres also like spine offs n shit
Or expansions idk what they even are
That's for FF14
They'll have the same number
The only games that are connected to each other are games that share the same number like all the spin offs of FF7
So if you want to get all the Final Fantasy 7 story you just need the ones with 7 in the name
And each numbered entry is independent
Man fuck skrillex for even making me wanna even look into this cursed franchise
He cooked too hard
Nothing stopping you from just enjoying the music, but if you do want to get into it I would say it's unfortunately one of those franchises where you really do need to go through all the games (and again even then KH3 brings up a lot of stuff from media that some people probably don't even know even after playing the main games
)
the reason everyone tells you to play those collections now is they include all the side game story
the good part is that at least the first half of the franchise is really good, I don't know about the others like BBS, DDD or KH3 because I haven't played them
individually those are good games, but the gap between 2 and 3 suffers at a high level from just taking too long to get to 3
binging them back to back mitigates that a lot
but anyway
story is a huge part of these games
and playing 3 first would make no sense and permanently ruin a lot of it
there's no question that you should at least try 1 first
as old as it is, I really don't think the gameplay was ever bad enough to be a problem, even in retrospect
(there are way worse RPGs as far as "putting up with <mechanics> to get the story" goes)
are the 1.5 games like mainline+ side in one?
to quote the Epic store page from earlier, the "KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX" collection contains:
• KINGDOM HEARTS FINAL MIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories
• KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 Days (HD Remastered cinematics)
• KINGDOM HEARTS II FINAL MIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep Final MIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS Re:coded (HD Remastered cinematics)
most people would consider 1, CoM, 2 and BBS to be "mainline" and 358/2 and coded to be "side"
but you get the idea
like I said: 1.5+2.5 collection, then 2.8 collection, then 3
Ah, yes, the Attack on Titan naming convention
it's that simple as far as getting into it
let it become complex after you've actually played a game or two and are invested in it
I will say, personally speaking, I very much recommend original CoM over the HD version of it
(to be fair I have not played Re:CoM, can't speak to that issue)
fuck it i guess ill try them, not like i alreaey have a million games in my backlog
these are pretty hefty games anyway, you might want a break before even finishing the first one and that's fine
fuck its large i might have to beat and delete rdr2 before getting hd 1.5 and 2.5 remix
Yeah there's a reason other than nearly every single game being in completely separate systems that I stopped at KH2 because by that point I had binged through 1, CoM and 2 and each took around 30 something hours
I remember when KH2 was about to come out and I made a point of buying it just before Spring Break because I knew it'd be a problem otherwise
I pretty much only experienced the other stuff from reading about it and watching stuff about it but I've always been content with stopping there because to me 2 feels like a natural ending and I never felt the need to immediately play BBS or DDD after finishing 2
then the first day I played it I literally forgot to eat
are the games filled with side quests n stuff or is it possible to just power through main story and be done with it?
Yes
depends how you classify main and side but probably yes
There's a ton of things to do but none of it is necessary or missing some huge content, I never went too far with side stuff
atleast thats good i guess
the structure of most Kingdom Hearts games is that there's a series of "worlds" you have to visit and complete a story in to unlock more worlds
There's no RPG open world style side quests or anything it's always just fun side stuff you can do if you want to grind out or complete challenges
"the main quest" could mean just the story of Sora, Donald, Goofy (your main party) and the other characters they're directly invested in, which is put on hold for several worlds, or "the main quest" meant more broadly could include all of those per-world stories you must complete to reach the end
if you're worried about grinding, that shouldn't be necessary; simply doing every world's story will be plenty
also friendship the twilight
darkness darkness light hearts light darkness light
When are you playing Kingdom Hearts 2 for Archipelago?
dunno
unfortunately my 1.5+2.5 copy is for console (man, remember consoles?) so I'd have to rebuy it for that anyway
It changes the structure of the game into a hub and spokes world and strips out the story
yep, I've heard
my literal reaction upon seeing this on twitter
2K Games rep on Spec Ops The Line:
"Spec Ops: The Line will no longer be available on online storefronts, as several partnership licenses related to the game are expiring.
Players who have purchased the game can still download and play the game uninterrupted.
2K would like to thank our community of players who have supported the game, and we ...
If you havent bought it yet. This is probably your last chance before having to pirate it
I'll just pirate it
I should revisit it
2013
'tis a classic
Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 is horrifying and amazing! It's actually horror and not just boo, got ya!
i read the plot synopsis and it's a pretty heavy game
I generally tell people it's Heart of Darkness / Apocalypse Now in video game form
gets the idea across real quick
sadly, not everyone wants to be depressed, so it's not as well known as those two
yeah
Heart of Darkness is a cinematic platform video game developed by French developer Amazing Studio for the PlayStation and Microsoft Windows. A Game Boy Advance port was announced in 2001 but it was never released.
The game places players in the role of a child named Andy as he attempts to rescue his dog who has been kidnapped by shadow-like spec...
Genuinely bad videogame but I liked it
before anyone gets confused: that "Heart of Darkness" is unrelated to the famous novel that partially inspired Apocalypse Now and Spec Ops: The Line
Is that GoldenEye64?
Eric Chahi mentioned
I don't know who that is
he made Another World and Heart of Darkness
No, GoldenEye 007
It's GoldenEye 007 and he walked like nothing happened
My dads first games was Alex the Kid and this game and I asked which should I beat and it's GoldenEye
My aunt loved Alex Kidd
It was on Sega and Goldeneye was on Nintendo but is on Xbox too
Was my clip deleted because it was a shooting game?
Your clip was not deleted
...this clip?
It disappeared for a second for me and and I restarted discord and it's back
I never seen that before
And before I restarted I touched what Mega quoted and chat was not moving
And I checked age rating and it was 16 and so I thought maybe I can't post it
he's the French game designer
one of the most well-known ones
he got decorated and all IIRC
oh also, shooting an enemy's gun will do nothing, so guards are protected even more by their gun than their helmet
in Perfect Dark, shooting an enemy's gun will disarm them, but GE doesn't have disarming
I've heard Perfect Dark is very similar
it is pretty much GoldenEye 2
it's generally considered a better game, but also harder. Oh, and Perfect Dark has an unofficial PC port too
I'm just happy I didn't break the rules with a shooting game
we post shooting games all day here, it's fine
GoldenEye is pretty tame by modern standards, but even by 1997 standards, because it released on a Nintendo console and back then, Nintendo didn't like M-rated games
so GoldenEye had to fit within a T rating, which means no gore, only light amounts of blood, etc
Rating is 16 and Discord is 13 so I thought maybe I shouldn't but thats cool that I can
Nintendo started softening on this rule in the late GameCube era, but even that console didn't have that many M-rated games. The PS2/Xbox had far more
I think in Europe it's 7, 12, 16 and 18
my father made me play Doom when I was like 5 years old, you can tell I didn't care much about ratings. 🙂
I played two Dooms
Doom 1 and Doom 2 a little
But not at 5
They're on Gamepass

holy shit did he actually say that

Me every time I play a game (I lose focus very fast unless someone tells me to beat a game)
the Sakurai videos are quite the trip
though on the other hand, he did say 30 FPS is fine for many games in one of them 😢
hides
legends of equestria ❄️ 🤍
Flitter looking for smoke
What does that mean?
To argue
I think 60 is only needed for super fast games
Sure, but smooth movement is great for most games
It's not needed, but it's very nice to have and would be missed
and past a certain point, a consistent framerate is more important than a high framerate
since I have no skill at games, that point is likely 30fps
I think it's a weird question because on console you have to choose and on PC or cloud you don't
I've played games on potatoes and computers that had the screen literally duct taped to the rest of the computer barely hanging on at 360p barely reaching 20 something consistent frames for 70% of my life so I've never understood the obsession with super ultra high FPS
I can definitely feel a difference in 30 and 60, but anything past 60 is not that meaningful to me, I'm more than happy with a game being 40-50 consistent stable FPS
yeah same
...but what if we're talking about a Kojima game...? 🤔
I think 30 fps is fine for turn based games and other games like that. They really don't have any need for 60+fps
it's rare that I even notice 30 vs 60
And racing games because if you make a mistake you made it early
part of the reason I like to leave Steam's fps counter on is that if I'm not seeing the numbers jump around I won't even be able to tell it's framerate instead of something else
The funny part is that it doesn't apply to Kojima games as much as you'd think
i can kind of notice 30 to 60
In pretty much almost all of MGS' game reveals they almost always mainly show gameplay
I notice too and resolutions, but I only choose 60 in super fast games
I definitely do notice the difference between 60fps and 30fps
like when i play Doom Eternal on my switch and then watch pc gameplay on youtube i can def notice a difference, aside from the obvious graphics upgrade
It's not that there's not a difference, it's that I don't care
There is absolutely a difference between 30 and 60, but I'm more than fine with a stable 40-50 and won't lose my mind if the game isn't running at 240 FPS and dips to 239 when entering a new area
right, I can tell 30 vs 60 apart when they're shown side-by-side like that, but when I'm only seeing the one framerate I generally won't have a clue which it is without a tool measuring it
I'm playing my first Forza Motorsport multi game right now and I'm worried a little
it's like how I'm functionally tone deaf in that if you play two notes back to back I can tell whether it went up or down, but if you play just one note I don't have the slightest idea whether it was A or F or Q
I don't even know what A or F sound like
I can i have very good sight and breathing
Pretty sure Q is fake though
I think it's fake
Hell, when I recently tried to emulate Peace Walker I immediately noticed how badly it ran, but when I was playing it on my PSP back in the day I didn't ever notice how awful the 20 fps were
reminds me of that hard-drive article
using a VRR display makes framerate fluctuations less noticeable, but it won't help against stutter

that one scene in kingsman about to become real life soon
The church scene?
no the heads blowing up scene
Oh
Yeah that makes more sense
The church scene is my favorite scene in the Kingsman
I say this as a spiritual follower of Christ (I no longer associate myself with the term "Christian") when I say that the entire church massacre scene is one of my favorite scenes from those films.
They had it coming and then some.
Oof. Though that kinda shows how a lot of people view sports games.

The developers of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney have stated that Spark Brushel unsettled them to the extent that they "physically couldn't bear seeing him", adding that "women might hate him." In the same interview, Brushel was said to be based on Shu Takumi.
Wow yea they aren't kidding I can't stand this guy

This dude blinks from his bottom lid which is physically impossible to do as a human
Spark Brushel
It's funny how he's the only good witness in the whole series while looking like that

now the question is was it worth selling your soul to Microsoft
This was my first time creating a program in QuickBASIC, so it is definitely not perfect. The computer is an IBM 5160 PC XT, and the monitor is an NEC MultiSync II set to amber monochrome text mode.

For that Activision Blizzard would have needed to of had a soul to begin with. That was stripped out of the company years before Microsoft got their hands on it.
I don't even know who at this point I hate more, Activision Blizzard or big corporations
but probably Blizzard as those mfs are pussies that are willing to obey my country's repressive and stupid laws fearing to get banned here (they stopped selling their games here anyway because of [rule2] like what's the fucking point)

I was just saying hi to you hc lol
oh ok
But yeah some interesting sales figures for ubisofts new games. Surprised prince of persia didn’t sell very well.
I'm delighted
good, consumer boycotts fucking work
I don't even know who at this point I hate more, Activision Blizzard or big corporations
I feel compelled to point out that Activision Blizzard was a big corporation before Microsoft bought them
poor family run business blizzard entertainment 🥺
Also I'm sure that the messages they'll get that their only unique title they made in a decade sold badly, is that they need to make more unique titles
That is the game that all the Ubisoft haters were saying that Ubisoft should make, that it sold badly is not a good thing
Also I kind of doubt this is due to consumer boycott but more to the fact that Ubisoft audience only play the "Ubisoft Game" and this wasn't the "Ubisoft Game"
It's kind of sucks that companies like ubisoft keep putting out unimaginative mediocre slop, and that is legitimised by their audience only wanting to play unimaginative mediocre slop
there is a big audience for people wanting to play games on autopilot, so it's wonder why that kind of Ubisoft game keeps succeeding
The issue with the new Prince of Persia isn't the gameplay, it isn't the art style, it isn't necessarily even the story as such. The issue, is you call a game "Prince of Persia" and yet, you don't actually play as the titular Prince.
is that a problem?
It's a deep, engaging, and pretty unique game.
Play as the dude is a factor?
I mean considering how long the series has been away for, yeah, kind of a deal breaker for some. Experimentation using a different protagonist is something you do when a series is oversaturated, not when you bring it back, in its classic style for the first time in decades
I think it's a ridiculous complaint
I never said about the merit of said complaint only that people were having it
I think people don't really have that complaint
You haven't looked online hard enough then
Ultimately the game wasn't massively advertised and is a rare mid-budget title for Ubisoft, I like that they are still doing those as a AA game from a AAA studio is pretty rare now. Sales may seem low but if the budget was also in line then it may still turn a modest profit.
I think when people say it, it's a disingenous excuse to shit on a game they wouldn't have played anyway for other reasons.
"You don't even play as the prince" sounds like people complaining about Legend of Zelda protagonist not being called Zelda
None that is actually interested in the game does that
I mean Zelda was playable in 2 of the 3 CDi games, that worked out really well for those...
I say that but she was fun to play as in both Hyrule Warriors games
I think that the notion if the game was equal in all other respects but the dude happened to be a prince, the game would have done better, is pretty ridiculous.
The game in my opinion, would have done the exact same, people would be citing another easy dig to shit on it
Because it's Ubisoft (which fair, ubisot did pretty bad shit), because it's 2d, or because it's not AAA
I am convinced of it bcause the first thing that people started doing when the trailer came out, was saying it was bad because Prince of Persia was supposed to be 3d, thn people pointed out to those people that originally prince of persia was 2d. so they switched it
The fact people call 2D games a reason for a game doing shit is stupid. If anything a game being 2D just means less stuff likely to go wrong, especially with the camera in many 3D games as some companies still can't get a 3D camera right sometimes. Looking at you Sonic Team...
I mean ultimately Prince of Persia was an acquired IP for Ubisoft anyway, the originals were published by Broderbund so really if you want to be old and crotchety about it you could say the series was never the same once Ubisoft took control, all the way back in 1998...
Far Cry players when they hear this:
Oh hang on, Ubisoft didn;t take over the IP until the early 2000s
Ultimately I think it's bad when good games sell badly and it's good when good games sell well.
2d or 3d I don't really care as long as the game is good.
Prince of Persia 3D was published by Red Orb Entertainment (literally who) and Mattel Interactive on Dreamcast. I didn't even know Mattel had a games division in the 90s like Hasbro did...
Ubisoft has many fanboys that will defend whatever they do, and haters that will oppose it.
If Ubisoft makes a good game I want it to sell well because I want them to make those instead of Assassin's Creeds.
Ubisoft published Street Racer, the best Mario Kart clone, so they're all right in my book 😉
Are they the ones making not splatoon?
That they then asked people to not call it splatoon
Foamstars? Nah that's Square-Enix
I was born that year!
I don't see Foamstars having the same level of success as Palworld, though it is coming to PS Plus, even the lowest tier of that....
Some people that played it at previews say it's pretty good, we'll see when it comes out
All depends on how much of a market there is for something like Splatoon on non-Nintendo formats. Pokémon is a slam dunk, and I mean, Splatoon is basically a family friendly third-person shooter so I'd say it has a decent chance of finding some kind of audience.
I still wish the new PoP was available without the always-online problem, I would've bought it day one if not for that

New sonic game is apparently getting announced.
I really hope one day sega goes back to sonic adventure
Play Crystal Project
Probably the pc port
ngl
in terms of sonic stuff, i just want them to remaster/remake 3d blast lol
Hopefully they reveal stuff worth a crap lol
If rumors are to be believed demon souls remake is on the list of pc ports
I've never personally cared for those games on the count of my sanity lol
Apparently it’s a sonic generations remaster or a sonic and shadow game
I read a thing last night that it was supposedly gonna be called something along the lines of Sonic X Shadow Generations, and it's like... Okay, that kinda sounds overall odd, and Sonic Generations being remastered in a non anniversary year is also a bit odd to me
I love game events
Maybe what I'm saying is a bit nit picky, but I just found that potential name and the game possibly being remastered on a non anniversary year to be odd for some reason. They may wait to release that until 2026 for the Sonic 35th anniversary though. Who knows
Sega of America is reportedly laying off more than 10% of its staff.
https://vgc.news/news/sega-of-america-is-reportedly-laying-off-more-than-10-of-staff/
Why does this keep happening
Because pretty much every company wanted to extend
Turns out, they all overextended
on the somewhat bright side. if all the people that get laid off across all these companies come together we can get some decent indie studios
That implies there's enough money going around to do so. But VC funding and whatnot seems to have been cut by 86%
Oof. Right we do need that money
||https://vxtwitter.com/Comrade_Waluigi/status/1752505968062329026 || Oh I thought the writing would be this game's saving grace but this is bad huh
(suicide squad spoilers, I guess, if anyone even cares
)
IDK, is it just me not being attached to Arkham Batman like..at all?
Like, he's okay, he doesn't really have a character.
The voice is good but apart from that he's just like Batman™
True!
Like you can tell the difference between Spiderman from the games or Spiderman from one of the movies, they have a personality
That one is just Batman
Archetypical Batman if you will
Yeah I don't like how I don't know what to expect when I see a Spiderman
Just give me one
I'm so blown away from everyone going "they ||killed|| one of your favourite characters"
I think its because until the recent spiderman games. There wasnt really any superhero game close to quality of the arkham series
So it sticks out to people
I care okay for the Batman in a few comics I've read, I care for the Batman from the Nolan trilogy because he had a character and a personality, I care about Batman in the recent Batman movie.
Arkham Batman is just a Batman shaped container to put your favourite Batman in, not an actual character
It doesnt help that the batman games after the arkham series were medicore at best
imo Arkham City did a good job with his character in the places it mattered, especially at the very end ("Do you know what's really funny? Even after all you've done, I still would've saved you.")
but I agree that even at its best it's well-executed standard Batman
IDK the game doesn't seem very good regardless but the fact that they ||kill Batman in "Kill the Justice League" game seems an extremely silly thing to get upset about.||
I don't think a game that has an interesting superman can be made
It think it can, but I think an indie has to do the concept first
Yeah.
No I mean
It can't be a cookie cutter 3rd person action game, and AAA wont ever risk a big game on an unproven idea
So a Indie has to do it first, and then AAA will maybe try it if the indie does well
Superman as a character cannot be both interesting and in a good game
I disagree, it can't be a 3rd person action game like the ones we had
It needs to be in a different genre
An open world gta style game could be fun
You'd either have to make superman faithfully and turn the game boring or make an inaccurate superman but an exciting game.
The conflict is directly between superman's character and the agency granted to players
It should be more of a "save people from disaster" kind of game than "beat up the other dude in costume" kind of game.
What's this about a new Sonic game?
Sega is allegedly announcing one
this unironically sounds like a Mr Mxyzptlk plot
Honestly he might be the thing a superman game needs to be good
Another cool idea would be something like justice league vs apokolips/darkseid
One of the few villans that can take on superman in a 1v1
Superman and Batman should trade the Joker and Mr. Mxyzptlk
We did?
Exactly. Superman is way better at dealing with the Joker and Batman is actually smart
Speaking of joker apparently he’s being added in the new suicide squad game
I don't think anyone is particularly upset about that just how it was done which is exactly what the tweet I linked talks about
I don't think that's true at all, but I'm also not particularly very attached to the Arkhamverse
I actually think that the Arkham verse kind of hurt the perception modern audiences have of Batman but you can't exactly say that without having a super dope pipe bomb mailed to your door because these games are the holy grail to gamers
If you come across anyone who legitimately is shitting on the game because they killed one of the characters that the title of the game tells you you are going to kill then you can safely just dismiss their opinions, this game is an incredibly hot topic right now and on the internet people don't actually form their own opinions or try to have actual critical discussions of things, they just watch their favourite commentator talk about the game and repeat what they say
Fair, that was my perception in the games while playing them
Don't get me wrong I really like the Arkahm trilogy but I never cared much about Arkham Batman personally
Well I like the first 2 games at least, the 3rd i fell off
I don't particularly care about any of the Arkhamverse characters except Joker because he's perfect
I'm trying to think back if any of the other characters stood out to me in the games but I can't pick one out, I agree on the Joker being a great one tho
Granted, I played them a long while ago so I might be forgetting someone
It's honestly really sad to me how we've gotten not only one but two live service games based on DC characters that have fallen completely flat on their faces with Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad, both of these games could've been great and had so much potential from their concepts but we ended up getting what we ended up getting, this one in particular seems to have at the very least generated much much more discussion than Gotham Knights which comparatively was just kind of like a fart in the wind that everyone forgot it even exists
Which sucks because I've always really really wanted to learn more about the bat fam and I think it would've been excellent if it was a focused single player campaign style game where you either choose a characters' campaign or the game lets you switch at times or whatever, something like that but pretty much not what we ended up getting
the worst part is that I remember specifically after watching a video about that game where they talk about how there's all these cool little character details and possible stories that could've been explored that get relegated to messages on a computer
Can't even put into words how frustrating that kind of stuff is
I already forget a lot of details about games I played and loved so I don't think I remember much of anything from the Arkham games at this point
It's called AAA game devs and publishers and straight up greed. AKA, quality couldn't mean less to them as long as the pockets are filled with money. Typical shit to me honestly
This is interesting because these games largely don't make money and close after a few months
They are bets.
They hope they can make the one that goes big and make billions
I don't think greed is the correct mentality to describe this with, I think it's just people who don't play games, have no idea about games and are just generally very out of touch and disconnected ultimately being the ones deciding what direction the game takes combined with mediocre developers (directors, writers)
It's also kind of important to know what exactly went behind the scenes because a game could come out that bad from lack of proper budget, very short time to develop the game, changes in leadership, etc, all these things can make an otherwise interesting game just completely fail and come up as a half baked frankenstein of ideas
Basically business people who have taken over the industry that just do nothing but monetize everything, prioritize every terrible game model, and make sure to add a dash of pissing your player base off like usual
I do sincerely think it's how I descirbed
So many live service released and failed the same exact way under WB in quite a few years, that this is the only reason I can exaplain as to why they wouldn't course correct if the expectations for these games was to make a nomal amount of money.
Also I just realised, after palworld do you think we'll get many capture catching open world survival games from AAA?
They've seen the dollars, they'll chase them
I don't know but I hope not, but even then I doubt that they would get as popular as Palworld, the entire Palworld discussion is a bit wild because of how much of a perfect lightning in a bottle its been
also Palworld is still in early access too and its already competing with Pokemon sales
quite a weirdly polished early access too I have to say
yeah most EAcess games nowdays tend to come out with a decent level of polish
At least he one that do well
There was a period in which Early Accss meant janky mess, but i think devs figured out that first impressions matter A LOT
So a game might be incomplete, but what's there is usually pretty well tuned
I don't think I have enough experiences with early access games in general to say anything about it, I'm going off the metric of a streamer I watch who talked about how Palworld's early access is wildly better than even Baldur's Gate 3's early access
Like, so polished and so weirdly 'complete' that it could just be a full release and it wouldn't be that bad
yeah, prototypes are only useful if the foundational stuff is all there in a state it can reasonably be judged already, and what's missing is missing in a very obvious way
I wouldn't call it complete personally
There is a lot of jank still in many places, especially Pal managment
And the game doesn't have an ending currently
It's in context of a broader discussion about early acess, we can't move it
It's obviously not complete complete but in terms of early access I mean it's far better than a lot of early access stuff usually is
Relative to most early access stuff
I think it was around Hades release that EA games stopped being like...ARK
fair, as long as we start bringing up other examples it's probably fine
Or Dayz
yeah, for a while Early Access felt like it was synonymous with janky indie survival crafter thing because survival crafter was that one weird genre where no one had made a non-jank game yet so they could all get away with it
And with Hades release I mant Early Access release
For BG3 I think it might be because it's really hard to translate D&D into a functioning computer game so the interface needed adjustment for a very long time
Yeah I think games like Project Zomboid are still on early access because at the time it was just the thing you do and you could get away with a lot because hey it's early access!
Scam early access still happens but people got wise enough to not give it success
Made some test maps for my forked branch of GZDoom: https://github.com/dileepvr/gzdoom_isometric/tree/isocam_with_actors
All assets and music are from the old Crusader games (No Remorse and No Regret).
Test maps (wads) available at https://www.mediafire.com/file/fv8rytayjt9l6g1/isometric_actor_wads.zip/file
except Star Citizen, but that's a whole other thing
Wasn't there a big update that was coming for it?
Oh cool, a Holstin-like
I just remembered I need to finish that demo and fill out that google form the devs put at the end
i remember dayz
I think it's a cute way of gathering info on what kind of stuff people like and what mechanics or other things people may not like too much
what happened to dayz
Nothing it's still there, it's a standalone game now instead of being an arma mod
It diezed
Who is excited 💙💙
for what
It’s been rumoured to be announced at the state of play in 2 minutes.
OH YEAH
Starting in under a minute

That would be the DREAM
KNACK IS BACK
i would he down for a Generations remaster
Never mind, starting in two minues, haha
ive never played it
💙
Here we go
this program contains scenes
Helldivers 2
Even more hell

"Liberate the galaxy one bullet at a time" is the most American thing I have ever heard.
hello herman
Meh, first game looks so bland
And the dialogue is soooooo emotionless and dry. For an opener, this is rather poor.
The fights look very fun
💖💖
For JRPGs I have a rule that there is no telling what's good or what's not before you play it
or at least I can't
The trailer of the absolute best JRPG and the worst one, look identical to me
🔵
SONIC
Sonic!

Can’t wait.
💖💖

Can I get a pipp wiggle in the chat

I played the first one
I mean this game does look good TBH
Probably not my thing but it looks very unique especially for being a splatoon ripoff
More Dave the Diver
I was thinking it's splatoon so I stopped looking
...Godzilla in Dave the Diver
Diablo?
yeah
I love this game
Oooooo, I LIKE this
Diablo with less enemies?
Ooo
I'll take a look at it
It's truely excellent, it's out in EA but it's extremely polished
And has a ton of content
swag
Is it on Steam?
Yes
Nice!
With EA I mean Early Access not Electronic Arts
I know
SILENT HILL
I wanted to be sure
Since you asked me if it was on steam I thought you misunderstood what I meant
Eww
F2P SILENT HILL GAME?!
Anything interesting yet
Oh no
Never trust Konami
Its trauma!
I just wanted to make sure, mainly.
This looks like SH2 remake
It is
Loosk surprisingly comptetent, but also, never trust Konami until the reviews are out
I see their definitly taking REmake 2 style of gameplay
That metal theme in the trailer is pretty cool
This feels Bioshock-y
VERY Bioshock-y
Oh yeah. This is the not bioshock infinite game
Oh...is this Metro?
I took psychic damage from those SH trailers
VR metro
VR game
HANd
VR so not interested personally

I didn't even want to look
But hope it's good for those that play that
These games are all messed up
Not a VR guy either, but this is one of those games that would definitely fit for it.
is there a state of play going on?
Ooooo, this looks cool
Been looking forward to this.
Are you ahead?
The first State of Play of 2024 will be over 40 minutes long, and feature guest appearances from some of the most talented minds in gaming. Among many other updates, we'll feature extended looks at Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin, two great games coming to PS5 this year. And we'll give you a new look at other titles coming to PS5 and PS VR2 ...
Odd, I'm watching on Twitch, which is usually the one that's ahead
It has difficulty settings. So it’s like dark souls but with options to make it easier if you wish
Wrong reply?
More horror
I meant that for you but the replies were glitching on my screen
makes sense
ds2
Got leaked a while back
Kojima game
Nanomachines son
Oh fuck it's Kojumbo
DS2 I assume
This is all horrors
Splinters.
Death Stranding is not horror, it's more like weird as fuck
I’d say this will either be still in development or will release by the end of the year.
Do you ever get the PT easter egg in your playthrough gen
I never played PT so I don't know
Death Stranding Director’s Cut has added lots of new content to the game including some new easter eggs and this one is a reference to Silent Hills P.T. Just enter your private room and you will get this Death Stranding Silent Hills PT easter egg randomly.
P.T. is a psychological horror game developed by Kojima Productions, under the pseudonym...
I'm not actually even fazed by the small man
Smoll
Smol
I'm getting used to Kojima bullshit
Kojima games are just movies with occasional gameplay
How big do we think the map will be compared to the last game.
Is this Death Stranding Japan? Or Europe?
Can we get a happy and cool and fast game
Demon souls remake is allegedly part of this’ll
Battle droids.
Oh god it's the joker
You should watch on youtube not twitch
Baby ninja
Ok no, I'm not actually used to Kojima buillshit
On the beach lol.
Why is this trailer so long, Jesus
Because Kojumbo
Its a kojima game

COME ON, every time we think it ends, it keeps going!
If next game is dark and scary then idk
Bb28?
What is even this game?
2025
Finally
lol
Lmao hi kojima
Oh don't worry GT, we literally don't even know what's happening even with all we saw
The game will be much bigger than the trailer.
I do look forward to whatever’s he plans to make to surpass metal gear
Yeah I feel like kojima can show literally any amount of cutscene and I'd still have no idea about what the game is about
And I have a whole another game of context to base myself on but no, still nothing, still lost
“we will give you money to make this work”
I get it, Kojima's cool and has a lot of great ideas, but why are they spending soooooooo much time on him for every stream event like this?
Ugh. Part 2
Next state of play February 6th
This is Kojima when he is the boss and there is none at the company that can tell him no...
For better and for worse

oh was the trailer for Death Stranding 2
state of plays are generally the shorter ones
What else could have been
they said before that it was going to be around 40 minutes anyway
A few bland games, a few VR games, a couple of decent games, a Sonic game remaster, and then 10 full minutes of Kojima?
Easily the most interesting thing from that whole thing was DS2 and the new action espionage kojima game
Part 2 could be the Spider-Man DLC and others.
But didn't they say it was going to focus on ff7
Yeah
That's their next big release so it makes sense
I suppose
Clearly there is a huge drought of games now that 2023 came and went.
Rate the event from 0 to 100
70
B
Also they did just release a Spiderman and a God of War in 2023 so their 2 big studious are on "cooldown" so to speak
Sony always says what they're generally going to show and how long it is in an article before and in the description and yet people still get hyped up for nothing
I think maybe 65
If anything they’ll just do pc ports for those two
Because people just want to see “title a” on the event.
No Silksong = 0
Silksong is canned honestly
The chat was asking for spider man dlc lol
Silksong is canon
Nah it'll come out, I have zero doubts about it
You're canned
I have no idea when

But it'll come
Ghost of Tsushima 2 will probably be announced in the summer.
Could be
We've seen enough teaser content that it would still be a pretty okay game if released in that state
80
Maybe you guys like horrors
And honestly if Prime 4 doesn’t get revealed this year, that will be canned in my book.
I like games that don't get featured on big events
And so games that get featured on big events don't qualify
I am not especially interested in horror games
I can play them if there is one I really like but it's not a big factor for me for or against a game
I do
But yeah, two nothing burgers.
i want Mina the Hollower and i want it now !
Oh god the F2P SH game is available NOW
Does that mean silent hill?

The awful one about bullying
I'm sure it will be an excellent addition to the franchise
I just hope more indie games arrive on consoles honestly.
God I have so much to say but I don't want to be a bummer or go on a rant
I mean its clear gaming has reached the highest peak. Game development is way too expensive, time consuming, and stressful for devs. I think its time to size down.
I am very curious to see how will Silent Hill 2 remake will fare.
To remake a game you must understand said game intimately and I don't belive that modern Konami can remake that game without fucking it up.
That remake trailer looked so fucking bad...
I mean its Konami
It legitimately looked like a modded game, and why did they do a whole montage of James being cool action hero man showing off the gunplay?
Did you see the four legs connected together
Lol silent hill is being re6'd
The game looked like Bloober was trying really hard to do RE2R and it shows, and then the other game looked like Konami just tried to grab a dev studio and tell them to make PT since Kojima isn't around anymore
Well, if you remake it, making it so the game feels good to play is not a bad choice IMO.
I don't wanna be that guy who says something will be garbage without knowing anything about it, but it'll be garbage
That's a whole subjective opinion, I don't think any of what I said necessarily translates to ''make the game play good''
What does that even mean too lol
It looks a lot like REmake 2
I'll wait until it comes out.
I selfishly hope it'll be garbage because it'll be garbage in very interesting and engaging ways that will be very fun to see explained in a video essay for example
If it's good it'll be boring for me
Which could he either a good thing or a bad thing
My thesis is that Konami doesn't understand Silent Hill so they can't remake it effectively, we'll see if that's correct when that comes out of if I'll have to eat my words
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGNTYOuCF4U
I forgot this game existed

The real crash 4
Oh god
I'm open to be proven wrong, Konami would still b shit but they could have hired people that actually know what they are doing, who knows
I remember that game
Silent Hill 2 balances a lot of things very delicately which makes that game work, and I do not trust that that will be preserved. It doesn't need a remake and it doesn't need anything about it changed
Had the most random voice acting choices for the villans
It's the only good crash game out of the original trilogy
I don't know if you're asking me or someone else but what I essentially mean is that the RE2R style or the change in gameplay style doesn't inherently translate to ''they made the game feel good to play'', and really what I originally said was mostly that a Silent Hill game shouldn't have a gunplay montage with epic rock music because it's super not what that franchise is about at all
I mean that the original trilogy is all good and this game is good too but no other crash games
(I haven't played the newest one though)
I understand making a trailer with mostly that stuff because it's probably easier to sell it to modern audience, the gameplay did look good at least.
But yeah, it could have the best gunplay ever made, and still be a terrible silent hill game
How good the gunplay is, is at best tangential to that
No no, it's not about how good or bad the gunplay is, it's the focus on it at all
I mean that might be cool but at that point why not just make a new entry to the series? The silent Hill 2 story has already been told well
The focus I don't mind, as I said, it's good trailer stuff if you want to sell the game to a playstation crowd
What's good about Silent Hill can't really be put into a trailer anyway
Because moneeeyyy
Because Resident Evil did the remakes so we have to do those too
I mean it can, but the marketing department won't want you to
And to their credit, there are a lot of new entries being worked on, they just aren't talking about them
Remember, SH:f is supposed to be the new main entry
But they're working on like 6 different games all at once so it's just this unfocused mess
I actually think it's nice when they remake games in a more moden key so young people can experience them without the limitations of playing an old game.
As long as they remake them well
Hell I will even take new takes on the concept as long as they are good games
Yeah I think (most) of the resident evil remakes have been fantastic
resident evil 2 remake is badass
3 was fine...
I have my fair share of criticisms about 2remake but that's also one of the holy grails of gaming so you can't say anything negative about it even though they may be absolutely fair criticisms especially for a remake of a game
4 is fantastic though, that one yeah
(and remake 1 is still perfect and peak)
I pinkie promise I won't mail you pipe bombs. When I said I would that one time it was a joke
I don't wanna get too in depth into it because I wasn't really planning on doing it, I just think it's not a great remake of the original game and I think just like with 3 that it's just a new game that loosely takes aspects from the original
The reason I love RE4R so much is that it's the one game from this new line of the 'remake timeline' that takes the most aspects from the original and in a lot of them I think it significantly improves them
I think Ashley for example is a vast improvement from her original version and she's adorable
I still think 2RE is better than 2
That's fine, I think 2RE is still fantastic and I think despite me being a boomer at heart it does a good job at translating core aspects of survival horror games into a format of games that a more modern audience is familiar with and I'm glad a lot of people enjoyed it
but at the same time I think it doesn't really resemble the original RE2 that much and it's not a good remake
so about fixed cameras
I love fixed camera so much and I think there doesn't have to be a choice
You can make a good game with fixed camera angles but the player is allowed switch to a normal camera
oh well I wasn't actually going to go into it, but
both fixed and dynamic cameras require a lot of fine-tuning to do well
and often designing your rooms with them in mind
so I understand it's not really viable in most games to offer both, without one of them being objectively bad
unlike, say, key bindings
You're right but I'm mad that you are
As comically upset as I can get sometimes I really just get 'mad' because I don't like people implying that fixed camera is somehow a downgrade or outdated when it's just a different format of game that I personally feel should co-exist alongside the more modern format of games
But at the same time that also is a broader more general issue with AAA games, at least to me, feeling standardized and never really daring to do anything different from what the other AAA games are doing so they'd be too scared to do a new main entry fixed camera RE game because modern people would go ''wtf is this shit it's like a ps1 gaem!!11''
which is part of why I love pointing out that just about every modern game uses some fixed angles, when it feels like it
what is outdated is using nothing but fixed angles all the time because the hardware can't do anything dynamic
I just think they're neat, I like them and I appreciate them and I think they should exist alongside the newer formats
Unfortunately though Flitter you can't really design a game to use BOTH types of cameras, it just doesn't work that way
even Signalis has fixed angle cameras that pan as you walk around, which I believe none of (original) RE1-3 had? (though CV did)
You probably could but it would be a very bad implementation and a game should be designed with one in mind to squeeze all the potential any of the two formats could have
did Bloober team make the uh
the game where the baby runs into the wall and Jerma almost died
Signalis uses more of a general top view angle, Metal Gear style
It's not quite fixed camera
I mean it is but
You know
not in the spooky sense where you get dutch angles every few screens
Silent Hill 2 is of course still my go-to example of using a lot of fixed angles well alongside a default dynamic camera
Had to go to remind myself what Bloober team was, I have no idea but I played a lil bit of The Medium and it was okay
Got bored relatively fast tho
I think I've heard of that one
navigating all that fog outdoors with only fixed angles would've sucked lol
And what I almost always say whenever the extremely valid argument of ''fully static fixed cameras are bad because they can get in the way and be confusing and disorienting a lot of times'' is that a game can have fixed dynamic camera, like Silent Hill, Dino Crisis, Haunted Grounds
sorry, we've hit a critical mass of vagueness now; what does "fixed dynamic" mean exactly?
Oh you know
LOL they are https://youtu.be/4Q24i42IcUE?feature=shared
Hell yeah go bloober
To be fair, in Survival horror in particular I kind of hope that fully fixed camera games never come back
Or rather, if they do I'll probably skip on them.
For how much good they were at the time, having an enemy you can't see because they are behind a corner is scary the first 3 times, and just annoying after
yeah, 100% fixed was only the standard for a time because of hardware limitations
No I want the clunky fixed angle feel. Games intentionally avoid that and I hate it
I want rooms that are difficult to decipher because of the unusual camera angle
Stuff like Final Fantasy 7 and 8
I do like the idea of a game doing that on purpose if it's designed around the camera being an obstacle, but that's different from "this angle was just badly chosen and it's obnoxious"
I'm not sure I've ever played a game like that
That's my own thing, to be clear, if you like them it's 100% fine but they do annoy me
also, if my experience playing all these old horror games is anything to go by...
when a game is 100% fixed angles, they never get every single angle right, there's always a few rooms where the angle is just obviously bad in a way that detracts from the experience
I came up with that term on my own completely so it's probably not great, but pretty much what Code Veronica did
Fixed dynamic just means that you can't quite fully control the camera, it's not free look, but it's also not 100% static like RE1-2-3, the camera can and does move around and pan as you move
Most games do it right 99% of the time, but every old RE or Dino Crisis has "THAT ONE FUCKING ROOM"
oh the dolly shots
omg i haated that in FFVII
In cinematography, a tracking shot is any shot where the camera follows backward, forward or moves alongside the subject being recorded. [...] Often the camera is mounted on a camera dolly which rides on rails similar to a railroad track; in this case, the shot is referred to as a dolly shot.
for those who don't know the term
Silent Hill 1's alleyway shot is probably still my favourite example of what the dynamic camera can do, and it's always been one of the big highlights of the SH franchise and just in gaming in general
I also agree that Silent Hill mixes and implements both pretty well, I think that there's a lot of great shots you can do with a fixed camera on a town, RE3 has some good ones, but for the most part you can just make it a general third person camera that follows you around while you're outside and switch to fixed when you're indoors
I'm not sure if it's technically correct to apply it to a video game camera moving in that same way, but it's the only precise term I know of that picks out the thing Code Veronica's camera can do that RE1-3 cannot and most modern game cameras are way more flexible than
I fucking love it
you're an interesting critter
As an interesting example I do want to mention DMC5 kind of implements a fixed camera system somewhat, it's not quite it but I find it interesting
there may or may not be sarcasm in play
Crash Bandicoot is almost exclusively dolly carefully crafted dolly shots that maximize the number of polygons
Crash Bandicoot is hard
oh yeah, I've never played Crash but I've seen a lot of footage of it
Whenever you're locked on into an enemy in DMC5 the camera will zoom out and lock into a comfortable position where you can look at all the action going on in the screen, but while you're locked in you cannot control the camera that well even if you try to move it, it will move on its own and slightly pan if you try to move it but it will just move into a different 'locked' position
Not quite the same, but an interesting example of this hybrid style
Andy Gavin talks about camera optimization here
https://all-things-andy-gavin.com/video-games/making-crash/
It's a super interesting blog series from a development perspective
They talk about how they had to count polygons to ensure the camera can always be at its limit in regards to rendering, and doing tiny fine-tuning stuff to the level to ensure the game runs

No, fun fixed angles are bad in a racing game
Kirby Air Ride has a fixed angle racing mode
They only do eagle eye views because of that
I went to skim the state of play and saw there's a death stranding 2 trailer?? And it's super long! I stopped watching it so I wouldn't get spoiled too much on the game
Yep
I stopped when I saw the thumbnail wasn't for any console I owned
I want to say that you'll be fine because we have no clue what it's about even after the first game
Okay I'm actually kinda curious how the sh2 remake will end up being. They showed us very little, but some of the environments looked interesting. I know that's a low bar, but c'mon we're starving here
Oh I do not mean story spoilers, I mean showing-too-much-cool-shit-at-once spoilers
I don't remember most of the key plot points of death stranding 1 and I beat that game
Oh, well it does actually have a lot of cool shit
It does look really good
I'm gonna keep my expectations realistic, but I do think that game has the potential to knock it out of the park
Perhaps even be the greatest strand-type game yet
do you like bb's theme
Yes
Holy shit.
i love BB he's so cute

i saw this in a mobile ad once and i think it was used to activate sleeper agents
the time has arrived Captain mario, bom-omb battlefield awaits
They did show some gameplay and some new gizmos and gadgets and stuff but for the most part we still don't know much and haven't seen much
It's just a particularly long trailer
As a kid I always called them bom-ombs only to find out that they're actually bob-bombs
with || A FUCKING ROBOT NINJA BABY MECH THING FIGHTING A GUY WITH AN ELECTRIC GUITAR WEAPON LIKE DANTE ||
and it's the fucking coolest
So I caved and watched pretty much all of it and yeah that was great
Game looks so cool
The ones who get it get it
I'm actually really excited for it because I've been wanting to play Death Stranding but everytime I already experience a game once I'm kind of eeh on doing it again
I don't really replay games even if I love them, so I'm looking forward to it (even though I don't own a PS5
)
My favorite bit was actually the ventriloquist dummy gizmo doodad
he's animated with a lower framerate like stop motion too
I know it's so weird haha
(and he's on strings
)
STRINGS
String-like

Genius kojumbo
im sorry to say i cant find it
Game has a coherently told story: I sleep
Game has lots of references to [thing]: real shit??
Subtext is for cowards says Kojima
Outstanding move, I cannot wait to play
Just watching the starting first few minutes of the Silent Hill f2p game thingy
It's actually really awful
As in "bad game", or "God, this story makes me feel awful"?
As in it's so laughably extremely badly written that it's actually baffling
Like, right out the gates
Welp.
It's so extremely on the nose and heavy handed and so not subtle at all it's actually not even funny
It's not even ''it's not as good as the first few silent hill games'' this is just bad in general
Someone else said it and I kind of agree it kind of feels like a parody lol
Just finished it, holy fucking shit this game is actually offensively bad and actively harmful
I watched someone stream it right when it released and oh boy
It was pretty corny in the bad way, felt like a Dhar Mann episode
No, I refuse to describe that as corny, corny is great, this is just actually awful, no hyperbole
I can't even bring myself to joke or not be straight to the point, it's just terrible
didn't expect anything less from konami
Yeah the gameplay was a walking simulator too
It's not even a good walking simulator, it's actually just absolutely nothing and it's not even good at doing that
I hope this style doesn't carry on to future Silent Hill installments
Because I made the fatal mistake of having pretty good expectations when I heard a short Silent Hill game was out
All the other Silent Hill games are being developed by independent studios, this one was actually developed in-house by Konami themselves
No way
Sounds like a fun time.
Literally the only good thing about the game is that it's free but even that isn't good enough
They should be paying you for playing through that thing
The game from the show?
No, the game from the PS thing was SH2R, this one didn't ever get marketed or announced
It just got announced and shadowdropped today
P ranking John Gutter as Noise to celebrate the anniversary of the game. To specify, Noise will come as a free update. A lot of details about the game changes when you play as him, think of it as a sort …

I beat Sonic Superstars a bit ago, and it's one hell of a game, definitely starts getting trippy near the end, some of the bosses pissed me off for sure, and the final boss practically nearly gives me a heart attack, and extremely annoyed me considering if you finish the first phase of the fight and die in the second half of it, you have to start it all over again. Despite my frustrations, I genuinely enjoyed my time with it. One hell of an experience and a good return to form in 2D for Sonic. Now to wait and see if Sonic x Shadow Generations is gonna be worth a damn lol
bro i barely cleared the first dungeon, i don't wanna fight a dragon
the last town i was in had a djinn turn everyone into ghosts so ngl
i think this world in general is fucked
o.
great, now i feel like an idiot for buying 1 or 2 of the damn things
christ alive i might need to pay attention to areas too
i already missed Blizzard before the first boss (Weak to ice cus he casted fire)
Theres always the second run
You finally got it
OpenRCT2 making Rainbow Valley significantly easier
I cannot even dare imagine how much harder it would have been if I used vanilla RCT1
I haven't tried open rct2 yet, I know i should
Honestly I learned a lot of exploits from RCT streamers/youtubers so I cheesed a lot
i.e. microcoasters
And marketing
The two most broken things in the entire game
Marcel vos is a gem
Marketing is not an exploit it's just a feature
Marcel def taught me a lot
Yes but it is way too powerful to the point that if you know that it exists it breaks scenario so hardcore
You can literally pump a few hundred people from it
But the game is basically designed with it being used
I used marketing all the time in the vanilla game, but I didn't know that you didn't really have to market strategically to get a good result so I over thought everything
I was checking if there was any non-custom scenario in RCT1 that banned marketing, it seems there is are two scenarios in the first expansion pack
Marketing is def in a weird position, it is extremely overpowered to the point that it makes many scenarios quite trivial, but also all scenarios are pretty well balanced that you actually don't even have to touch it at all
*Plus four scenarios with infinite money enabled
Anyway time to move to the first expansion of RCT1: Added Attraction(Corkscrew Follies)
Oh lord it has Harmonic Hills, Fiasco Forest and Pickle Park

Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 has great scenarios in comparison to 2
But 2 has better features
Which is why it was wonderful to see them backported to the 1 scenarios
RCT2 expansion has terrible scenarios
They're great concepts but poorly executed
congrats for finishing it, I have yet to beat one scenario
like in real life?
Yeah
You should beat Forest Frontier. It's short and sweet
yeah, I'm on that one IIRC
It takes about 45-90 minutes
I have to admit that I used OpenRCT2 feature that enables you to clear scenario as soon as you fulfill the condition
I didn't want to play for like 4 hours just to wait for the time limit
Good feature
Lol
This headline is dumb
Tags are basically what customers apply to games. Valve does not add new tags on demand
You can though
...That's kinda implied in the "and needs your help" part of it, ya know.
Yeah, but the headline is basically misrepresenting the situation as some sort of petition to Valve
Nah, does seem like a tongue in cheek petition that they made
Yknow. Reading more than the headline helps
I did read the article. I'm complaining that the headline is bad, not that the article is bad.
You mean you can't get the whole context of an article from just the headline? SMH what is modern news coming to
What?
Yeah I figured it was sarcasm but I didn't get it
Those dwarves, rude as always, thinking they are special or something /j
@wind stump have you checked this game? Probably not because it's a PS5 exclusive
