The biggest issues that most people can see with the game is that it's somewhat buggy, which is honestly pretty par for the course with Owlcat games. Perfectly playable, just a little weird sometimes. Luckily, Owlcat's also pretty consistent in patching those bugs out pretty quickly.

for what it's worth, the slow input process for this puzzle is definitely Obduction's weakest moment, though for me it was merely annoying and I forgot about it fairly soon after I got past it (it's also likely I'm good at / used to this kind of puzzle, made fewer execution mistakes, so it didn't add up to that much total time); several of the other games that cameoed in that video had far worse puzzle design sins that actually ruined my experience in those games (like not having the necessary information at all, or being so unreliable the answer was impossible to enter instead of merely slow, etc)

I'm also mildly baffled by the claim that Myst and Riven don't involve any "backtracking"... that's a "did we play the same game???" moment, especially since by the video's logic Riven's Fire Marble Press seems like it ought to infuriate him about as much as Obduction's maze
