no, but seriously ff14's learning curve on this is gentle. you get started off slow, and no other player will yell at you in casual story content. a good chunk of "mandatory" main quest dungeons can actually be played alone with a party consisting of bots helping you. and there's a tutorial that teaches you basics of your 'job' (tank healer dps) before it chucks first dungeon at you.

I also don't know if || the clue about the trajectory of the bullets in the room where the murder occured that leads you to the island is there if you arrest or let Klaasje go regardless, I'd have to check ||
also the entire reason the fucking game happened is || because this horny old war veteran living isolated on an island just couldn't let go of this woman he never met which in turn caused this woman to become paranoid and frame the entire thing as a suicide that looks like the workers killed him and framed it as a suicide but also the cryptid began to deteriorate the old guy's mind which made him erratic and out of control but also the deserter's story mirrors Harry's own life story about being unable to move past a period of your life and being unable to accept someone forgetting you but whereas the deserter fails Harry somewhat succeeds depending on how you play and

I'm still struggling with character concepts for Mass Effect, a little. Trying to make up my mind, now, between a Colonist/Ruthless Soldier and Colonist/Ruthless Engineer--the Engineer gets a little fun bit later on, and it's always a little more fun in a tactical sense to play "wizard" rather than just soldier, but OTOH I haven't played for a while and the soldier is more straightforwards...
It does seem like the game wants you to play Soldier given most of the cutscenes have you seemingly turning into a Soldier during them, though.

I don't think he was delusional back when the real conversation happened. ||Dream Dora/Dolores frequently switched between talking as if she was Dora leaving that day, and "breaking character" as if she was merely a part of Harry's mind (which of course she was). IIRC the switching became more frequent and the character breaks more explicit as it went on because Harry was getting more lucid about exactly what this dream was and what really had and hadn't happened to him in the past and present. It was never him talking to Dora, it was always him working through his own baggage.||

But the real crux of the issue for me is that you can get them for free if you replay a bunch.

I used to also cheat to get to maximum level and get some neat secret (cut content) weapons and armor, but that was because I had played a ton and basically just wanted to skip to the NG+ without actually having to play multiple times.

Eh, Mauler isn't as bad as the Critical Drinker. I used to watch the Drinker a lot, but lately he's gotten way too miserable and anti-LGBT, so I stopped watching his content altogether.
Mauler, however, is a very different breed. Instead of going the "anti-woke" route of saying why films are "bad" like the Drinker did, Mauler has always been methodical, analytical, and relatively logical in describing and figuring out why movies are bad. He in fact is an ally of LGBT groups (afaik), he just doesn't like it when movies shoehorn LGBT people in solely for the sake of checking off a box (which tbh I don't like either, because that's not proper representation, that's pandering, especially since that same LGBT scene will mysteriously vanish as soon as the movie is in China or something). That, and compared to the Drinker, who rants and raves in a "drunken" manner as to why movies are shit, Mauler takes his time into taking apart each scene of a movie and explaining why it does or doesn't work.
Out of the two, Mauler is easily the better one, and also the funniest one (his insults are legendarily creative). The only thing is his videos get looooooong (thus his nickname, "The Longman").

Nah, Mauler is nowhere near anti-LGBT or anti-diversity, from what I've seen in his videos. He has praised several LGBT depictions before, and does not mind strong women or anything, just as long as they're written well and as long as the story doesn't revolve around them and bend over backwards to make them look like gods while making everyone else look bad.
The only time where he has actually mocked it entirely was when he was watching Batwoman on the EFAP podcast, because that show is completely horrible when it comes to proper representation. Then again he also mocked basically everything about that show (and rightfully so, it was God-awful).
He's still brutal in his critiques, but personally, I think he's fair at the same time. He'll give credit where it's due, he'll admit when he's made a mistake, and if there's parts of a movie that he genuinely likes, he'll shower it with praise and gush over it.
