Prerequisite requirements for Radiator Springs Racers Expansions:

  • Completing Act 4 and the quest “What’s Mine is Yours”
  • Clearing the surrounding area (Frontierland Bottom-Left Expansion, for 8M Magic) from the Curse
  • Completing the new Merlin’s quest “Drive Like the Wind?”
  • After that, you can earn Dreamsparks in Mini and Mega Events (it is not possible to earn Dreamsparks during Tower Events)

If you already opened all the previous Expansions during UP95 (Cars), in UP97 you can open 2 new Expansions in the Radiator Springs Racers Zone, including the Thrill Zone in the center.

Ways to get Dreamsparks during UP97:

  • Progress through the Mini Event. The following character quests (don't confuse it with activities!) will provide Dreamsparks:
  • Young MacGuffin – New Games
  • Young MacGuffin – Late Arrivals
  • Wee Dingwall – Och, No
  • Wee Dingwall – New Rules
  • Wee Dingwall – Round Two?
  • Purchase them using Event Currency

  • The Widow Tweed – Too Much to Bear? (1 Dreamspark)
  • Copper & The Widow Tweed – Toothy Travels (2 Dreamsparks)
  • Amos Slade & Copper – Escape Claws (3 Dreamsparks)
  • Purchase them using Event Currency

@worn pollen currently Dreamsparks are not available. They are not offered during Tower Challenges so the soonest we will see them is update 103. Per the Patch Notes the quests (not activities) for extra event currency for those that have Cars Land are:
Tuk – Tuk Thinking Time
Tuk – Junior Orienteering
Kiri – Future Perfect
Kiri & Jake Sully – Dreams Take Flight
Neytiri & Jake Sully – Serene Moments

Tip for players trying to unlock Cars Land: the Ready to Roll side quest is the one related to the 8 million magic plot in Frontierland needed to unlock Cars Land and reach the Drive Like the Wind quest. (I noticed the search function in the Wiki fails to bring it up so I figured it might help to mention it).

Tip for players wanting to unlock Cars Land: it seems like the first plot can still be unlocked whenever players are ready for it. Additional plots are dependent on the current available offerings for Dreamsparks. #🏰dmk message
