Hi, very new to stuff, just started this year so please forgive me in advance.

Is streamlabs the only way to use monstercat with obs?

I cant seem to find a way to make it work otherwise. I really dont want to use streamlabs either.

I will state that I added it as a browser source and it can show up. I just cant hear it. 😔

Hey! No you don't need Streamlabs anymore, we are no longer partnered with them. You should be able to add the Player as a browser source like you said, not sure why it isn't playing audio 😅

By chance, did you select another audio output on OBS?

No i have control audio from obs.
Is there a better tutorial to follow somewhere? I think im watching old ones or something I guess.

From my experience, browser sources don't capture audio (though I could be wrong.) I usually use the application audio capture

And then connect that source to the player

So yea I definitely a tutorial. Cause it says add it as browser but didnt explain audio.

So have it added as a browser source then also add source -audio inputs capture i guess then the link for the player?

It should say "Application Audio Capture (BETA)" and then you should be able to select the app (your browser in this case) and it'll capture the audio no problem

The streamlabs one was just a widget you could add. The lack of a partnership makes it a bit harder to integrate than with the widget, but it's still very possible

Ok ty ty ty I will try this later. Im so stoked I dont have to use streamlabs tho lol.
I really like the music on MCso I was worried I wouldn't be able to use this.
