#Nginx Reverse Proxy - fails to fetch data after a little while

Hi, so I configured a proxy basically copying and pasting the example from https://docs.immich.app/administration/reverse-proxy/#nginx-example-config, replacing domain name and URL. It works until it does not. I start scrolling though the timeline and everything seems to be fine. Then suddenly it stops loading anything at all. It gives various errors like "Failed to fetch (HTTP 500) and others. In the logs there is nothing much. When using simple IP:port combination, I have never had any issues. Where is the bottleneck? Thanks

You have some rate limiting, crowdsec. Etc

fathom torrent
#

it goes through pihole

#

Could be that?

minor nacelle
#

No, that’s a dns server

fathom torrent
#

It must be Nginx then, without proxying I don´t get rate limited

#

I have pihole where I set immich.home pointing to my server IP

#

then nginx using the officials example for reverse proxy

#

but something is choking it

#

To make it work again, I have to disconnect from internet and connect again on my laptop

#

It works for 1-2 minute of scrolling and then it stops again

#

If I don´t reset the internet connection, it refuses to make any connection at all

Okay it is not even rate limited. It stops working after a few minutes
