#Issues restoring from backup during onboarding from Firefox

Test case:

  • Backup generated by the newest version of immich.
  • Using default docker-compose.yml and .env from the quickstart tutorial.
  • Using docker compose down -v and rm -rf postgres between test runs to reset state.

On Firefox, when pressing "restore from backup" from the Immich welcome screen, it flashes an error and then reloads to the Temporarily Unavailable maintenance mode screen.

On Edge, "restore from backup" successfully moves to the restore UI.

I've attached what appears to be the relevant log portions for both cases.

I have tested in a private window in Firefox with no improvements. Safari appears to work fine as well.

Is this just a bug in Immich? Or something I should look into more?
